best. I like how you emphasized on the crispness yet softness of this *sorry,
not making any sense*- just simply <3 this shot.
Don't worry, I understood what you meant Thank
you very much for the fave and comment, I appreciate it! And I agree, glass
windows are great
Quote by LarielHmm, I have to admit, it
DOES look slightly messy- but that's the main attraction of this vector, and
makes it stand out. The water effects was the one that I adored most- it's
awesome!
yup it is, that was the feeling i wanted to put in it
many thanks for commenting and faving my wall "Laguna Nebula"
Quote by LarielInteresting title. I think
this is one of the more astounding sola vectors you've done (or maybe it's
because Matsuri is my favourite character ). Her
hands on the bottom right looks slightly yellowish/greenish-though. Was it meant
to be that way?
lol
the titlle reall is cool
i was thinking a lot about it
u mean its better than the others? oh thats cool
oh and yes, its green
the idea was that she's sitting under glasses and she has differnet lights on
her
red/blue/green/yellow.....
thx for the comm and fav ^^
Quote by LarielRefreshing indeed! But as
abul said- it's over-textured, which makes the vector itself looks rather messy.
Hmm... I wonder what a texture-less version will look like?
Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not a vector It's the original scan, I just added the textures and filtered it, so a
texture-less version would basically be the scan itself
Anyway, thank you for the comment and the favorite! It makes me feel I did a
good job making the scan look clearer!
Quote by LarielThe dress looks prettier
with darker colors, I have to admit. Oh, one
more thing. I notice that at the right hand side of the bridge, the place where
you grip those... handle bars looks a bit too tilting -like it's gonna fall off
or something.

thanks thats good to hear
really? i felt it was based more on perspective but thats my own opinion
thank you for your opinion
heres another edited version shes a tad darker plus i also edited the right part of the bridge a bit

Quote by Lariel*full views* Somehow, I get
the feeling that it was yours.
Opinions: Character is simply awesome. I love the somewhat wavery-sensation in
her dress , as well as the color of her hair. But the background looks somewhat
in a contrast. Don't get me wrong- it looks generally amazing, but the clouds,
and the bridge, and the temple/shrine- I've never seen a more complicated BG-
but's a real beauty alright.
hiya Lariel

They don't? I thought those really mad, and
pay-every-single-teeny-weeny-details-to-art artists would do those stuff.
Then the liking of sushi.
no they dont
its only cheap "artists" that just remake photos with a brush and its
not really an appreciated type of art, its cheap
lots of details dont mean that its a good work of art [which most of people in
minitokyo think, even the mods that highlight things that have tons of details
and no artistism u know i mean?]
abstract art is the most appreciated art by the artists
i once painted a huge 1x1 m portrait, and the professional artists explained me
the "rules" of art
it was beautiful and techically strong but it wasnt a piece of art, just a
protrait that can be sold in the streets only
and the painters that paint paysages are the least appreciated artists, real
artist even dont consider them as a rtist [so do i]
lul what the fuck are that images?

Quote by LarielXD Lol, it's sushi-kun,
decorated with fritters and frills.
:o Eh, but from what I see in the ads *here* in the Asian part, most of the BGs
look as if they have been remake with brushes with a single form there. Guess
our quality is...
Portraits can't really be sold in streets here... so it's kinda... :/
Wow, even those with lots of details are not even considered pro? Man, you must
have really high taste, abul. I can
understand a teeny-weeny the beauty of abstract, but at the same time, I can't.
Hey, izzit true they really categorize abstract?
oh lol
they can be considered as pro's but their works are not appreciated by people
who understand the art [+the artists]
my taste is very low if i like anime and such things
im just very close to painters, pro painters and i know what im talking about
and yes, abstract is way more appreciated in the world of art than the detailed
shnit
the biggest reason why is that when u look at the portrait or smth, u only see
the face and thats all
when u look at the abstract thing, u see a complete different world
and the miracle is that everyone sees each others world
i can see a flying bird and ul see a crawling snake in one painting, u know what
i mean?

Quote by LarielEh, it's somewhat like
clouds. Abstract, I mean. You can seen an object or swirls in the clouds,
even though they're just things formed by water vapor etc. Well, it doesn't mean
that liking anime is low taste. There are millions of people throughout the
world that are somewhat otaku's. :p
;____; It was quite frustrating with the lips actually; I tried completely
colouring them, tried with a border, or with just a fleck of colour, but it just
took the emphasis out of the other colours. A shame really.
Am open to suggestions though, if you have any...?
=3
*pokes fingers* Err... me? Well, I'm not really good in vectors. Maybe you
should ask abul or Ash-chan about this case.
Nah, I'm not that worried; you noticed, so I though, well yeah.
=D
Quote by LarielUhm! *glomps on abul* The
colors are truly splendid, like autumn! Especially Chi- you've painted her well.
I think her hair was the most well done part! *needs a text-less version!*
:o Hmm, an opinion, the trees- it seems to be rather dotted. The falling of
leaves looks rather unnatural from my perspective. Sorry, sorry!
thankies lariel-chan ^^
sorry, i cant post the textless ver for some reason
oh and the leaves were like that in the scan so blame clamp

btw, u said the tree was dotty but thats how was the scan and i guess most of
the hand-drawn trees...
i mean only crazy peeps can draw every sungle leaf, so the painters usually make
it dotty, like pointilism
btw, i ate sushi today.... and i liked it... i lost my mind

That is what exactly what most artists does- draw every single leaf and spend

You finally fell for the sushi love! <3<3<3
oh no, believe me they dont
um cant say "luv" but.... like xD

Wasabi burns my tongue to death sometimes.
You can't eat sushi that has raw thingies on top? Why not tamagoyaki or
something else? At least THOSE are cooked...

Abul is practically a genius in vectoring, but minor things like this... Kusabi
the Wasabi!
hey! im not a dummy!
well i dont remember that because we often go to restaurants with my sister and
if yesterday it was sushi, today it can be a pasta, and the next day it will be
madras chicken, u know 'i mean?
btw, madras chichken [sandwich] is probably my favourite dish after one kazakh
dish
i remember last time i ate fetuccini bolognese [pasta]

your a dummy!
I remember every knick and knack I eat because I usually take homemade food and
it's so rare for me to go out and eat.
Btw, I think I might want to try out vectoring with some tips from enchant *even
though it might turn out to be a earthly disaster* because everyone is already
vectoring beautifully and I'm still lagging behind.
Can you give me a simple tutorial?
u said im a genius in vectoring but a dunmmy in a real life
well me too, but i go to restaurants like 2-3 times a week
vectoring? o good luck
i nver read any tutorial on vectoring and i learnt it on my own, so maybe i do
smth wrong =(
thats what i do:
1) create a group and call it outlines
2) set it to invisible
3) take the pen tool and start vectorin
4) try to put as least points as i can
5) fix the lines by holding the alt key/ctrl key
6) create another group "colours"
7) steps 2-5
8) set both to visible
9) delete the backgrounfd scan
10) enjoy the job done
^^
