r q g

Thanks a lot for taking the time to look through my new works, and for adding comments and faving some. :)

Quote by DREAMany chance of a link to this beautiful wall w/o the green stroke- lady Erdbeermilch.

that shouldn't be a problem, from your screenshot I assume you need it in 1280x1024, in case I'm wrong please notify me.

actually? hehe. Gankutsuou is also one of my favourite anime series and one of a handful that has re-affirmed what i love about anime amidst such generally deplorable works.

have you read Dumas's "Count of Monte Christo"?

It's a great anime in my opinion and my contstant habit to add patterns or textures to my wallpapers mainly stems from my love for this series. I read the novel before I finished the anime and though I like it very much the way it is, I appreciate the changes made to the anime a lot.

Quote by DREAMyour recent artistic endeavors in the last 4 months have left me very happy. ^^

I'm glad you feel so, thank you for sharing your thoughts. :)

Quote: btw- who's the artist on the feature member banner?

It's RAIN, you can check the scan here : Comicfans 2 by llilliathari

I really wonder when you'll be back. Seems like ages since you've last been here.

r q g

well, its been a real long time since u posted in my guestbook, but ur rly welcome ^^

ive never really been back. for some reason i keep forgetting minitokyo, and it gets cryogenized in the back of my brain, then when i have nothing better to do (like now, i should be sleeping or studying), i remember it and come back to see what my favorite peoples' galleries look like after all this time.

The Lord of Dreams sees everything but now the mistress is back and she thanks you for the green rose that she likes

Thank you for the scanner assistance. I got frustrated and went ahead and submitted my two Vampire Hunter D scans. My scanner decided to clear up the more I used it... not sure why, but I cleaned them up the best I knew how. Hope you enjoy them and again, thank you for the tutorial and help. ^^

:3 Oh great dream master...that wall is a brake from grunge, textures and big details, simplicity is always a trend and option, also, the idea is that people know the expression of the girl without mouth or fingers, or give her a expression of their own...some people may say that she is happy, some say that she is sad, what do you see on her ?

Anyway, thanx for the comment, and also xP i have to fulfill something to you...

r q g

Thanks a lot for your fav and comment. I'm glad you're so happy about having another Galaxy Express wallpaper in the gallery.

Quote: ;) i am really happy to read that you are perusing my gallery and enjoy various artists.

And I'm quite happy that you've got such an interestening gallery. Whenever I feel like looking for some new artists I always browse in member galleries, there's a handful of people here where one can always find great new stuff.

Quote: btw- do not worry i am working on procuring more art-books including Miggy and other great artists as promised. so try to be a little more patient.

Nevermind, I know when it's worth waiting ^^
Have a great time

I'm glad that you like my new amano wall. =)
Thanks to all the lovely scans that you've uploaded, or else i wouldn't have the chance to wall it in the first place...hehe

Thank you for the favorite on Evanescence.

r q g

we hardly talked if any, just wondering if you would have some love for Aya Kato's works, cause I know you appreciate good stuff from Amano.

Wondering as well if you would have any scans from her works.

Quote by DREAMhey there- i have a few minor crits: first off you misspelled the word "made" you alluded to this in your statement there but is still misspelled as "mde" on the link.

next and most important- although it seems you have followed the original scan- most times a vector should be silky smooth. this wall has way too many anchor points remember 1 continuous curve only requires 2 anchor points. an excellent tutorial can be found here.

Yay ^.^ thanks for the crits, I checked the link for the spelling error again but when i looked it was already fixed? o.o. Regardless thank for the advice =D i'll keep it in mind when i vector again

Thanks a lot for your comment and fav.Actually I think for using the right patterns you have to know the right resources. For example when I think about japanese fabric I automatically think off Tama-Neko's pattern site ^_^'

Quote: i must confess i love X although i am partial towards Clover.

I'm also more towards Clover, I guess it's because I like the simplistic art better.

My best wishes to you for this new year.

Quote by DREAMhey there aboutblank- it pleases me to be the first to comment in your gb. i just wanted to stop by and say how i love your artworks. i have taken the liberty of making 1280x1024 wallpapers from your works and they look great on my desktop. :)

btw- are you familiar with the artworks of Zdzislaw Beksinski?
Offical site

thankyou..
i'm sorry but no, this is my first time seeing this artworks.. its awesame.. i'm way far from it.. i need more practice.. :)

Quote by DREAMah lady alterlier doing "vexels".. i love her tattoo and the details on her eyes especially.
2 crits: i think giving her hair/eyebrows a gradient would have been a good idea due to contrast created by the plainness of her hair/eyebrows and the detailed vectors everywhere else. secondly- having a matching font of her hair color brings massive attention to the preceding statement. simply changing the fonts color to- say a shade of red from her detailed tattoo would have been ideal.

i always thought of a "vexel" as a series of detailed shaded vectors created upon each other.

btw- i hope you are doing well. great title "kill her off". ;)

sir DREAMM, feliz navidad and feliz new year

like I told gaara I thought that everyone was gonna dislike the brushed in the tattoo and on the other hand were going to be attracted by the look on her hair and mostly line work :\, it went bad haha, this was kinda inspired on the first vexel I saw on DA, which had no detail on the line work including the hair but an awesome skin been vexelled, well the font part haha dunno I'll fix it and show it to you, but blehhh you did find something you liked so thats plenty for me sir, thanks a lot and I'm also hoping you're doing great.

Quote by DREAMhey there i was just traversing the woods of Mt and happened to notice that you are female- funny i always envisioned you as male. oh and you are from NJ- a state i am all to familair with...

:leaves a rose:
au revoir

lol, I thought my blindingly pink userpage would've given it away.
Many people think I'm male on the internet unless I tell them straight out, no worries. ;)
Are you from NJ too? :o

thanks for the rose!
