I rewatched many of my animes whenever I've nothing else to watch. I also believe that marathoning animes are a lot better than watching an eps a week. But sort of good for once a week just to make the time to go by when you're looking forward to it.

Thanksgiving is pretty big here I think. Although I don't recall of anything too crazy about it, other than the sale right after it.

I love Minami-ke! I'll rewatch it once I get the time. Minami-ke Okawari's animation a bit different, and Chiaka has some gradients in her hair . I probably wouldn't have noticed that if I didn't vector heh. The new shows I'm watching right now are.. Bamboo Blade, True Tears, H2O, They are my Noble Masters, Kimi Kiss, Persona Trinity Soul, Rosario + Vampire, and Spice and Wolf. True Tears sort of reminds me of Myself; Yourself in a way. H2O looks pretty good and interesting. Rosario is pretty fanservice but it looks a bit interesting. And the main girl looks really cute .

I also hope to get back into vectoring but I don't see it coming for a long time still sadly. Ja ne!

Yeah, I had to remake my group, and I just made a new one for True Tears. I'm crazy. Plus I had to start vectoring lately since there are birthdays galore this month. I won't finish all the gifts on time, I know.
Yeah, I've been watching most animes as they come out every week, but I'm saving Spice & Wolf to marathon, plus I've been rewatching Cardcaptor Sakura for old time's sake (I grew up watching it, but I never saw the original Japanese version). Anime takes up so much time though
I think the meanings behind American and Canadian Thanksgiving are different since they're on different days. They should just give them different names so it's less confusing.
Okawari really is different. The animation is really nice, but I think the old style matched the series better, Plus some of the hair colours aren't as good now. The gradient in Chiaki's hair is kind of odd :P Although in one scene I noticed that thing on top of her head actually moving, which I thought was funny :P
Ah, so you're watching a lot of series. True Tears in my opinion is the best of the new animes. Darn licensing And H2O was good, except for the beach episode. I think that series really could do a lot better but I'll give it a chance. But nothing beats True Tears (besides Clannad of course). The main girl in Rosario to Vampire is really cute (even I admit it. Moka's her name, right?) But I still won't watch it. Fanservice series without plot just tend to annoy the heck out of me

Yep! 144 gb! I got it on Black Friday about 2-3 years ago, I can't really remember. Oh! Boxing day! We call it Black Friday around where I live. For us, it's the day after Thanksgiving and gotta be there by or before 4 am to get the goods! It's pretty cold here but I wouldn't imagine how cold it is in Canada. I'm just sort of glad it isn't that cold around here, although I would like to experience snow once in my life at least.

OH! Jaggy lines! I get some of the idea now. I was trying some of that when I first started vectoring. Although I didn't really notice the jagged lines till I was told of it. This should help a lot, I'll keep this info for future reference. Hopefully, I can get into vectoring soon.. I hope.. With siblings on the computer and school coming up, might not have the time. Definitely watch Minami-ke! I still recommend it! Kodomo no Jikan is sort of Phedophilia status if you're okay with that. Bamboo blade and Kimikiss are great too! Watch it! Well, when you have the time. No need to rush the animes, they're always there for you, unless they get licensed, then it's over. Goshuushou-sama! I watched it for the cute girls I guess, the love triangle and the jealousy. The ending was especially appealing to me. I ended up liking the song because I had a visual aid to accompany it whenever I listen to it. I enjoyed that anime .

If it gets any lower it seems that my computer starts to slow a little, I've no idea why. I don't burn my anime yet until it's complete and another one is complete to completely fill up a DVD cd. Since some animes are too small or too big, so gotta separate it into batches. How much GB does your computer have?

I'm a bit sad because I didn't buy anything for anyone for Christmas. All I was able to do was wish them happy holidays. What's 'boxing day shopping'? I'll be waiting for those screencaps, maybe when I get them I MIGHT get back into vectoring. I need some motivation . The hair still makes me mad/frustrated/annoyed/confused(my head just can't process it) from my second vector so I can't get back into it right away.

Clannad 12 was really good! What! Episode 13 in 3 weeks?!?! Clannad is one of my anime's to look forward to . I guess I'll just wait for it.

I have gotten back to vectoring! And I'm so happy about that! I get really miserable in those days when I can't vector.

I thought the Myself; Yourself ending was alright. It wrapped up everything, but it was too predictable. Plus the Sana-watch scene, which they've been hinting at since the beginning, took about 30 seconds to explain. But then again, how long can you drag out "I was bullied, I got depressed, I cut myself"? So it was fine. And the timeskip was cool but kinda weird...I just think they skipped too far. But I'm not usually too picky about technical things in animes so overall it was enjoyable.

Ah, 144gb. Lucky. Mine has 80gb, but I'm working on clearing up some space.

Oh, I wasn't sure if Americans knew what Boxing Day was since the calendar says "Boxing Day (Can)", but they mentioned it on an American show so I wasn't sure. Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, and all the stores have huge sales. It's especially the best time to buy electronics, if you're willing to wait outside in the freezing cold in a huge lineup at 4 AM.

Okay, I have the screenshots for you. They really don't explain much. Honestly I've never had the jagged-line problem, so I'm not sure how to respond when people ask me. Although I do think thinner = jaggier.

Yeah, no Clannad for a while, it's very sad...and now Myself; Yourself and Higurashi are over...I need some new animes. I was thinking of watching either Miname-ke, Kodomo no Jikan, Bamboo Blade, or Kimikiss. Then again, I'm already watching Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun...of all things, why am I watching that!?! It's fine if you haven't done the screencaps, I know you've been SUPER DUPER busy lately, and I'm completely fine with that. I'm a patient person so no worries . It's kind of complicated.. Where I have to use the points at the bottom to make the curve, use the point at the top also and pull it out just a bit. I don't really understand it so I will wait for those screencaps when you can. I'm in no rush. This technique will definitely help me with jaggy lines. It's still a problem for me.

Oh! Gradient should be very useful! I forgot all about that. It didn't cross my mind that I would use gradients for hair as well. Sensei needs more days off! If you can, take a break every now and then to relax . My method to relax is probably hot cocoa on a cold day and watching a good episode of a drama or anime . Maybe a meal to accompany the drink.

I've gotten back into vectoring a bit, thank goodness. Only a few days until New Years and I still have lots to do

I found episode 12 of Myself; Yourself pretty boring. There were a few good moments between Nanaka and Sana, but it's the 2nd last episode! They should be wrapping things up by now! We still don't know Nanaka's or Sana's backstory. And we need a follow-up on everyone else. And also, Nanaka said "daisuki" to Sana and it was such a...flat moment. But I guess I'll see how the last eppy goes.

Yeah, go for elite next time ^_^ Even though I know in my head that elite gallery doesn't mean that much, it always makes my day.

Oh, my computer space is full Well yesterday I was able to burn Higurashi to DVD and delete it, so that freed up some space. But I think it does slow down my computer. How many GBs does your comp have?

I completely thought Myself; Yourself would be a harem/romance/school life/comedy sort of anime. But I guess the weirdness came in.I'm still into that genre since I guess it was the first type of genre I saw when I started watching anime a few years ago. I'm still interested in it though. Shuffle got really twisted! Kaede scared the life out of me. She's so sweet and kind then when they were kids, she's killer crazyyyy. School Days, I still hate the main character, and I've never hated any character before, so this is my first. The story was a bit interesting, but he ended getting into bed with all the characters of the anime , I guess I understand it now after reading a review since the GAME had 8 (I think it was that number) different endings; the game came out before the anime. I never thought that Asami liked Sayuri either! I kind of got a hint from it from the earlier episode where they went to the amusement park and she saw her crying and she was shocked from it. Everyone seems to have problems in Myself; Yourself. Aoi seems to be the only normal one . I think I was thinking the same theory you were thinking about Sana covering a scar with the watch. Maybe suicide attempt before, being bullied at school?(Another theory.) Well, if you ever have time or want to try/watch something new, check out some J-Dramas, its interesting because the actors act like how anime characters, pretty interesting in how they can pull it off too.

I think her name is Coti from Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica. Just an anime I saw just for the cute girls I guess. The story wasn't that great, and I was watching it raw. The ending song was good though . Some areas I would like to soft shade, if that's how'll it properly work out. Her socks are what I want to be soft shaded I think. Unless you have a different opinion then I might follow that. I just finished the outline today and I guess I'll start coloring tomorrow . I will try to learn to soft-shade a bit, if it works out and master it, I will teach you .

For wallpapers, I just have them organized by letters, but about 8 folders with 500 in each. That's when I went wallpaper crazy and downloaded whatever looked good. I'm somewhat organized but sometimes I have to look through a lot to find what I'm looking for. Maybe I should try yourself and break it down some more.

You don't have to rush yourself to get those screencaps for me. I'll fix up the outline a bit and then just guassian blur the whole outline; of course I'll duplicate it first if there are any problems later on so I can fix it.

Maybe I should try out the game, but not much time at the moment. I want to finish this vector asap! I actually lost 2 hours of vectoring time and I was doing frills and I got about 60% of it complete, but I forgot to save it and I had to redo it .

I'm still unsure what Kotomi really says. Nande yane or Nande yare.. the world may never know .

I don't really youtube either, it's just that my brother and sister gets videos from friends and then show me, then I tell my friends about it too. "Sharing the fun" is how I would put it I guess.

I need some help sensei! I need your opinion the colors on the hair of the scan I'm vectoring. If you look closely you can see the darkest shadow is brownish and thats for the top half of the hair. Then there's the second shadow which is grayish/purplish and that's the one I'm not sure where it ends. I don't know if I should have it both on the right and left side on the end's of the hair (sorry if this sounds complicated). It seems to me that the colors get lighter once the hair passes the arms but I'm still unsure. I would like some of your insight if you will Okay thanks!

Yeah, 3 New Years artworks, all only with one day between their submissions. Or that's how I want it. I still have a lot of work to do in just a few days. One of them I haven't even started yet and I'm supposed to submit it on the 29th.

I still didn't do the screencaps...I've been busy lately and I keep forgetting. But basically what I wanted to show you is if you make a normal strand of hair (like bangs), and then use the points at the bottom to make the curve, use the point at the top also and pull it out just a bit. Sometimes this helps with the jaggy look.

In Clannad 12 Kyou says "nandeyane" so I guess that's it. That was a good episode.

Hm, about the hair, I'm not really sure. My brian is having trouble comprehedning vectoring right now...but if one shade seems to get lighter near the bottom, you can always use gradient. Sorry I'm not much help right now. It's sensei's day off.

I'm not sure how you get credits though...just participating I guess? >< You also get 5 (max) free downloads like every day or so. It's really easy to miss something that's featured on the art page because it changes so fast ><, but at least you know it's always quality art =].

Screencaps are very useful though. Good for record/reference and motivation . I took a few screencaps of being on the front page or being in the popular section . I haven't been vectoring for the past couple of days either . The weekend is time to spend with family and the weekdays is vectoring (during winter break that is, not sure if I'll have enough time to vector when school starts up). I didn't understand credits until a couple of weeks ago haha. I don't use credits either, the free downloads are enough. Although lately I haven't the time to download wallpapers/vectors. I already have a huge folder full of them. . I used to collect wallpapers all day long and change wallpaper everyday. Which is why I was here so long, but never participated in MT, but here I am now, trying to vector my way in .

Do you skip the anime opening/ending sometimes? I can never do that, for some reason. The songs just set the mood for the episode I think. Oh, except one time when I was waching the Naruto fillers, there was one or two ending I would skip.

The weirdness of Myself;Yourself is my favourite part! I know a lot of people went into that anime hoping for a normal, good romantic comedy, but I get bored of that fast. I have a weird love for unexpected twists~ Like Shuffle, I didn't really like it until episode 19, when Kaede lost it. I loved that episode! I also wouldn't care for School Days at all if it didn't have the bad ending. Sure, it was horrible to watch, but it made the story interesting. Anyways I never expected Asami to like Syuri, I actually had to pause at that part and think it over. But I cried at the end with Sana running after the train. The BGM made that scene so sad. And I think Sana's watch is covering a certain scar on his wrist, which is why when he sees knives with blood he can't handle it. Just a theory. Maybe next ep will have more Sana/Nanaka romance; I'm rooting for them as a couple. I've heard KimiKiss is good, I may try it out when I have time. I've never watch a Jap-drama though.

My GIFs don't really have good quality. It depends on the lighting. Like these 2 with darker more gold lighting don't have great quality:

I use Virtual Dub and Imageready to make them. I just kind of guess how I have to learn how to make GIFs from MKV files though, since everything is MKV now and Virtual Dub can't read MKV files.

Ooh, which vector are you working on that uses soft-shading? Maybe if you master it you can teach me since I've never done it :P

I'm waiting to post the School Days vector until after Christmas sometime. I plan on doing 3 New Years works, all with dedications, I really better work on them though.

You have a huge folder of wallpapers? I have like fifty folders full Well when it comes to my comp I'm really organised, so every series gets its own folder, with other folders insides other folders...well you get the idea. It's a lot of folders but at least it's easy to find things.

Sigs don't have to be fancy anyways. But I'm sure you can make a good one. Mine's nothing but a modified scan; I had to move the characters around a bit and add some text but that's it.

I think all the girls have a thing for Tomoya But I'm sure it will be a NagisaxTomoya ending, since they've developed those two's relationship really well. Ah, jagged lines...well you could try the gaussian blur, but it would blur the whole outline unless you did the hair outline on a separate layer. I have a suggestion but it's something I'd have to show you; I'll try to screencap it tonight Jagged lines seem to happen with thin outlines.
