I really want to read Gate. It looks really interesting from the raws, especially the guardian spirits? they posses. I have read Darkwalker, but the scanlation seem to be at a stand still. T.T Have read Kisaragi's sensei's Tsukiya? It's in full color, so there's only about 8 pages for a chapter. But it's really pretty.

It's so hard to scan big HQ scans since MT only allows 2mb. It's so tricky! I learned to control my infatuation for artbooks, I only buy the ones I really like. I hate shipping, it's the worst, but i heard Japaneses shipping is really good (with nice packaging). I don't trust Paypal. I have a teacher that had someone stole his credit card info from Paypal. So sending money is the best way. It's a bit easier to get stuff here in the U.S. if you have the money to spare. I am looking for a job so i can be more independent. You sound really wore out, so i hope you do find some time to get some sleep!

I got the raws already. I guess i just didn't look too closed at the characters on the cover. ^^;;;;. It's a bit sad that ADV dropped this manga here and no one is doing scanlating of it.

Hi Mira-chan. I know, it's been too long. I am sorry for not being a very good friend/pen-pal. I been on MT very little in the last several months. For mostly a combination of reasons. For one, I just don't feel as interested in MT as I used to be. Then there's the reality of just being very busy with life. I am focusing more on my art, and that takes a lot of time. Between my two jobs and doing artwork, there's not a lot left for MT. Now my online time is mostly spent on my blog. However, I've also put a little effort into myspace, just to increase my exposure, and DeviantART for the same reason.

Hiya, I'm also on MT. I don't really scan cards, so I can't really say. I scan at 300 or 400 dpi usually; open up the scan in photoshop, rotate/crop, add adjustment layers to approximate the colors in the actual illustration, and then save. I never mess with the original background pic (unless it's cropping/rotating), I always do it on separate layers.

I see. I am busy with finals and exams. So I don't have much time scanning. Oh, happy birthday to your mom. I hope you'll get some more sleep.
how big is the game card? if it's like poker card, then scan it as 1200-1000px in width. It's very hard scanning cards and I don't have much experience with them.

I just express them in my dooing, like cooking for him, making little presents or so.
Just small things to show him how special he is for me. For friends it is maybe the same, making a wall for them, talking or writing with them.
