Thanks for your comment on my review :) I appreciate it very much :D

Just out of curiosity though - what didn't you like about the plot? I think some bits were a little... confusing but I really loved how the characters and places were based around real places, people and events.

I'm just new to reviewing (hehe and love the show so I may have been a wee bit bias ^_^;) so different opinions are welcome :) I want to get better :D

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with the plot. It is well-detailed. Problem is, the plot have potential turn out much more better, they could make more story out of it. It probably will get more better if they show Lia Beaumont as alive, not dead. Maybe few episodes of her. Not that I don't like plot, story didn't blows my mind. Arts did blew my mind. xD Kinda remind me of anime Red Garden, Yukikaze, and some anime, plot have good plot but need more story to backing it up. Get my vibe? I would give this anime 8 or 8.50 if I want to.

I think it is great review, nothing wrong with your review just little bit tad high..I would be content with 8 but 9.33 that is almost perfect scoring. Maybe it is me because I'm not person that easy to be pleased. You can see at my ratings o_O

You can see that I want to review but I am not sure which person I should PM to. I have a lot anime to review and I want to review. xD

Quote by KukuruIn the moderators defence: perhaps it took them that long before your work was brought to their attention. A lot of art gets submitted on this site and the people who run this site are normal people like you and me - it's not like they sit here monitoring 24/7.

As for your doujinshi: it's not bad :) - the overall concept is there, you just need to work on being more definite behind your lines because as what was mentioned above, it tends to distract the viewer. Pencil does allow for you to erase mistakes, but I don't mind with pen because you can always try to work with what's there and sometimes you can rescue it nicely (instead of rubbing out a million times and then getting fed up when it doesn't work).

Looking briefly at some of your other work, you seem to get your influences from manga - I always have problems with hair in that sense because I never have the patience to draw in all the strands OX. Try working by the motto 'Less is more' for now, and see how it goes.

Keep it up Hachiko! You can only get better ;)

Thanks. Adding you to my watchlist. :)

Quote by KukuruHello :) I just commented in a thread of yours and then decided to check out your userpage and I saw that comment left by Mortiferatrinidad156 and I must admit I'm slightly intrigued - what on earth was that anime you watched?

A swan marrying Underwear...

The world is a strange place...

I'm desperately trying to find the name of the anime, I've emailed the NolifeTV team and left a message on the forum there... we'll see if anyone saw it too and remembers what it was. If ever I find out, I'll make a huge post about it because everyone should watch it, it really makes you question the sanity of some people on this planet :p

Thanks so much for your feedback on my review - I appreciate it very much :D! I must admit, in submitting it I was a little worried (not just about the length ^_^;) that perhaps I rated it too high - but compared to what I have seen I really do think I've judged it quite fairly. Though as I stated, my view will probably change as I'm exposed to more anime x-P

Story: hehe a friend also said that she started watching the first 6 episodes and she thought it was okay. As I stated, I started watching from 11 - which basically had nothing happening. If I hadn't seen such promising comments and the art wasn't as beautiful I would not have continued much further with the series. I do suggest sticking it out a bit more. Especially when the quartet head into Europe because I feel that is when the storyline starts to pick up. Plus, I'm a bit fan of sword fighting and a bit of magic thrown into a fantasy storyline. So perhaps I'm a little biased in my story rating, but I did enjoy. :D

Art: Yay! I'm glad you agreed XD Actually, I was doing a search on the net (trying to remember what the name of my first screencap was) and I was surprised to find pictures of the actual Versailles palace resembles the anime images. That just further impressed me :)

Voices: I started watching in the dub - is that what you were watching it in? It doesn't help that the English voice actor for d'Eon is Orphen from Sorcerous Stabber Orphen. I loved his voice as Orphen - don't like it for d'Eon. I'm not familiar with Witch Hunter Robin - is it good?

Anyways - thanks again! ;)

Hehehe...You're welcome :) I'd seen pictures of Versailles and famous locations in France and specially Paris before (not personally of course, just in the pictures ^_^') I don't think the art section of your review need revision cos it's already detailed and very well analyzed. Also the plot summery, it gives the reader enough info to send him/her watch the anime. You're review is informative so you don't need to worry about it much. :)

Witch Hunter Robin goes way back to year 2000, so somehow it can be considered old. (almost 8 years ago!) As its name says it's about witch craft. To be honest with you, the characters drawings in Witch Hunter Robin reminds me of Le Chevalier D'Eon alot. There's also nice drawing on the setting and background. The plot is similar too, it's mixture of crime, suspense and thrill but with much deeper concept. It's a nice story but you have to listen carefully and follow up the episodes otherwise you'll lose the track of events. (Come to think of it, the story's gloominess is a bit similar to Jigoku Shoujo too! Wow...I'm connecting everything together!) You can find some wallpapers made for this anime in the gallery. The atmosphere is gloomy and dark although some of the events happens in daylight. :D

I won't make judgments and simply suggest you to watch it. :) Personally I liked it a lot. Specially the theme song.

Quote by KukuruGenerally it's all downhill by the time you reach 20:
-you're probably the tallest you'll ever get
-you're bone mass will be the most you'll ever have
etc.

You're quite tall already - you're due to have a growth spurt soon I'm sure :)

Thanks for the response

I guess I have quite some time to grow taller. Well, I want to grow at least as tall as my Ma, about 5'9, that way, it'll be very helpful in playing the attacker position, I'm not much of an exceptional leaper, so it's a big thing. :)

Take care, hope to talk to you again. Cheers all the way from Barcelona :D.

I love Rukia, and she looks adorable in this image! Lovely work ASH-Hikari! This deserves a fav :D

Ah trust me, it took me a long time to get this far. Everyone improves with practice :)
I use Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Glad you like it! Thanks!~

Sorry, all that was the result of my laziness. After finishing the rough sketch by pencil and the hair by pen ball, I was too bored of working on it so I just completed it in the simpliest way I could think of at that moment (I get bored very easily - no patience). I'm 14, so next time you can cut the part "- san" out.
Thanks for dropping by !

Quote by KukuruI love water color - the ability to blend colors and create such a soft enchanting scene... and you've certainly created that here!

This is so beautiful! I was wondering did you sketch her first lightly in pencil and then paint over her, or was it kind of a 'make it up as you went along' thing? I ask because I've tried pencil before... but you can always see the lines and it doesn't look as nice.

Anyways, thanks for sharing with us laverinne - I'm sure you friend will absolutely adore it! I know I would :D

thank you so muchhh...glad you like it.At first i made a sketch with pencil, then trace it to another paper to get a neat and tidy outline and use eraser softly to make the outline thinner and colouring it.^^. If the outline still seeing, i use darker colour to make it disappear and to create a shadow.^^.

Haha..yes, he call me yesterday and said very thank youu....^^.thank you so muchh..

Hehe I'd love to say more, but I'm just in awe of it's greatness :P

So I'll fav it instead ;)

Quote by KukuruOoo I think I like this one even more - perhaps cause in this one the character is looking much happier (even though it looks like she is studying hehe).

I love the perspective in this! And yes, I believe you have changed the design for the better - everything is so much more sharper and you can feel the depth to the picture.

Another favorite from me :D A very very fitting desktop indeed :D

Quote by KukuruHaha as soon as I saw this I'm like 'Maple Rose'! :nya:

On the bright side - your thumbnail looks very nice :D I think your scanner though was a bit mean showing the crinkles of the paper, but I guess you can only do so much with paper and water :(

Background: I see what you were going for with blending of colors - personally I would have used a bit of pink in there too ^.^ but you have a nice perspective thing going with the sky and it's colors. The water turned out nice as well :)

Mwu and Murre: Aww I love this couple :nya: hehe ;) It's a very sweet pose and while I do see what you mean about the arms - I don't X-P I think it works! Plus, for the record - I could tell they were standing on a balcony, but I guess prehaps in some ways it doesn't look like it because it's very isolated - though honestly I'm not sure how you would fix that... prehaps have other buildings on the side as well... or a part of the building visible as well, like a wall...

Well, I'm not too sure - but such a fitting scene :) Well done again :D

hehe, I guess I have my own distinctive style? ^_^'

yeah, it wasn't just the scanner though, the original is a bit wrinkly too... I didn't start with thick enough paper, and I used too much water for the background ^^; I'll try next time on watercolour paper and less water... Oh yes, pink! That's what I forgot =_=... I'll remember next time, thanks! :)

yeah the arms were a pain... I tried many times, taking reference photos of myself... but I guess it sort of worked and sort of didn't ^_^'

I think I got the perspective of the balcony wrong and the angles or something.. hmm, maybe you're right, I should've put some sort of building attached at the back or something...

Thank you so much! :)

Quote by KukuruWoo - Love Roy and Riza! I so know what you mean about drawing Roy - I've drawn him once and he's looked okay - the other attempts <_<. The one I drew that looked good was just a sketch, so I don't think I'll be posting it in my gallery - plus his hand is a bit wierd ^_^'. Another character I have issues drawing is Winry - I just can't get her right!

*FMA Spoiler!* << For anyone reading your userpage :P The manga is different from the anime - once it gets to the Greed bit in the anime - it totally diverges from the manga. The manga is stil going. I liked the movie, but only because it was FMA, and well I love Ed in Munich :nya:

Haha you said the ending wasn't what you expected - I don't think ANYONE expected that - not even the creator Hiromu - apparently (though I'm yet to find any T_T she drew some omake's paying out the end of the anime. It was DEFINITELY a twist - eh I'm still undecided how I feel about it - I mean like I said, love Ed in Munich, but the whole door thing seemed kind of inconsistent...

The OVA's were nice, I love the chibi one the movie after party - it was funny as - Winry getting angry at Ed!
*end Spoilers* X-P

As soon as you mentioned Ed clock - I went straight back to your userpage to check it out - love it! I want one... wonder if you can make them?

I trying to color in Lacus atm - it looks a bit amateurish though - and I was about to get back at working on my Character profile of Ed - but I can't find my images T_T OX It's quite depressing - I may have to start again :(

And as for your picture : Wow are they all voiced by the same person - that's awesome! I haven't watched Noir - but I was reading about in Newtype the other day - would you recommend watching it - it does look interesting from what I read :)

Anyways, Happy New Year and talk to you later :)

I'm been reading stuff on wikipedia about the manga, and a lot of it is very different than the anime, and there are lots of characters not in the anime that's in the manga. But personally, I think I like the anime's interpretation of the Homonculi better, because of the conflicts and stories of Lust, Sloth, Envy, and Wrath.

I don't quite get the "Gate" thing either. I watched it twice and still don't quite understand it. Because like you said, it is kinda inconsistent to what was said (ie the "rules") near the beginning and near the end (esp about Ed's body).

Yeah, I love the chibi after party OVA too. :) My fave part has to be Roy getting the cold shoulder though XD I kinda felt sorry for him, but couldn't help but laugh at him at the same time.

How long is the manga so far? and is Hohenheim in it?

The Ed clock I got from here: http://www.animekaos.fr/fullmetalalchemist_chibi.php Just copy the code they've provide it and paste it onto your userpage.

I find Ed to be quite easy to draw, and Al (human form) is alright. I've never attempted Winry actually. Aww, I hope you find your files, because it's a pain to have to start all over again...

Noir, well, I guess it was all right. It's pretty good, but not my favourite. The story can get confusing at times, but the characters are pretty likable. It's about 2 assassins Kirika and Mireille going on a "pilgrimage to the past", hiring themselves as assassins named "Noir", and along the way they discover who they really are and what "Noir" really is. It's pretty much all serious, there's no room for humour or gags or anything like that. And there's no romance either (all the main characters are female, and they're all awesomely skilled :D), though there is a bit of shoujo-ai, esp near the end. But the soundtrack is really nice though, one of my fave soundtracks. :)
