Ah... wings... The best way to draw wings is to think of them as modified arms.
(It's easier to see on bat wings, but birds wings are really the same thing with
feathers) Also, the fluffiness is fine for the top of the wing, but at the edge
they are stiff. They also kinda attach to the body weirdly, you can sort of see
the body under the wings.
Anyway, I know it's your first painty wall, and it's a great start! =D

Hey I got a question for you. A while back, I remember you said that you know a
way to overcome the lack of normal layers in openCanvas1.1... how did you do
that again? ^^;; I like oC1.1 more than oC4 in some aspects, 'cause it's simpler
and you can do networking, and the oC4 brushes confuse me (I still use the
"former brushes" thing ).
Oh yeah, I also discovered the awesomeness that is Inkscape, you can use a
tablet with it too, it's so awesome! *ranting* But too
bad you can't just fill-bucket an area like in flash....
And what happened to that WIP vector you had on your page a while ago?
And I know you said not to bring it up again, but see, you think painting is
hard whereas to me it's so easy whereas its vice versa for vectoring!

Illust simply works better than oC 1.1. It has a few more tools, and more
options. CG Illust is more like oC 2.x but somehow, I like more the way CG
Illust blends the colours.. even though these two softwares look the same
x__x
If I remember correctly, oC 1.1 has something that none of next versions or CG
Illust have.. the Network client. It was fun drawing online with my friends.

if u want a small thimbnail thats hq, but not really big in size, use the
<style:height/width> code and a bigger thumb, thats what i usually do and
my thumbs are kinda hq and theyre small-sized
