Actually I had a vacation planned out was about to go like in august of this
year but things came up so I'll have to wait till the middle of next year before
I can finally set off. Where am I going? To see my grandparents and relatives at
overseas which I haven't seen for so long that they may have probably forgot
that I existed. hahahahahha!

haven't seen a opening this weird since the Honey and Clover openings Did
they use stop-motion animation or something?
Hey Firefly, Thanks for checking out my Mayuri Doujin. I'm still on the fence on
the new look. The colors are still all guesswork though as I did this the after
the new look was revieled and of course it was all black and white. LOL I
discovered the coolest new chalk pencils that work great with graphite. And a
new cleaning and blending Technique in CS2 and I like the way this one came out.
I think I'll do a few more like this and see how they come out.

Funny you should say that about the background.... it was actually an
experiment. LOL I just wanted to see how the sketch looked with something other
my non discrip bg on there. You can see the hi res png with the original
background here:
The face turned out so well I did a stand a lone scan of it. the original
drawing is so large that shrinking down even as little as to get it up here
makes the face lose so much detail! I'll probably upload that a bit later.

Hi firefly! *waves emphatically* I'm so sorry for my horrible absence from the
Internet in general D: I've pulled my second ever all nighter just last night...
it has been what... 30 something odd hours since I last slept? Lol. But the
great thing about it is that it was the final design submission (a half assed
one at that ) but the hard work did pay off :P That is, last minute designing,
drawing and model making for the past 5 days or so... I ended up listening to
all 426 songs on my iPod! ... and I repeated some albums 2-3 times :O But that
means after the next two days (just one more computer submission ) I will
be back and running on Minitokyo, splurging my bandwidth and moderating
furiously like never before :P
Definitely best of luck to you! You'll do absolutely splendidly (or
is this reply off track because of time differences and my body clock lag? *_*;)
Anyhow you'll do great
