interesante la historia de tus padres, supongo que cuando te encuentras con tu
alma gemela, no importa la nacionalidad, no? Dios sabe como hace las cosas,
jajaja... Mi familia es de poca estatura, yo mido 1.60 mts igual que mi madre y
tampoco soy muy romantica, pero tampoco precoz... no se si te sea bien emplear
esa palabra o que significado le den por alla, pero pues en este lado del
"charco", precoz se utiiza para las personas que a corta edad empiezan
relaciones sexuales, y pues creo que estas muy chiquita para eso ,
igual y cada quien su vida, solo te digo que el sexo, mas alla del placer,
simpre debe tomarse con mucha seriedad, hay muchas enfermedades de transmision
sexual que no son nada bonitas y la peor de todas el SIDA... solo te digo que si
no es el caso o el dia que decidas empezar tu vida de esta manera, disfrutala,
pero con proteccion... pero te digo que te me haces muy chiquita para eso ...
Volviendo a lo de las alturas, no creo que sea buena idea tomar pildoras o
cualquier otro medicamento, apenas empiezas tu etapa de crecimiento, asi que no
desesperes... como te comentaron en el thread que hiciste, dejaras de crecer al
rededor de los 20 anios, sin embargo, en la etapa de la pubertad (entre los 11 y
16 anios) es cuando los cambios son mas rapidos y notorios, despues de eso, el
crecimiento es mas lento hasta que se detiene, pero como tu misma dices, tu
familia tiene una estatura promedio alta, y factores como la altura, son
hereditarias, asi que las probabilidades de que seas igual de altas son muchas,
lo que si sirve, es practicar deportes que estimulen el crecimiento, como lo son
el voley y el basket ball, ademas de consumir alimentos ricos en calcio y
proteinas (esas son para el desarrollo del musculo)...
Tocando el punto de las peliculas, si he tenido el gusto de ver Casshern y
Shinobi... de Casshern, te puedo decir que me gusto mucho la fotografia que
tiene, los colores me encantaron, las escenas de accion son geniales y Shinobi
tambien me gusto, aunque a mi punto de vista, le falto, no se si hayas visto el
anime Basilisk, que es la historia en la que se basa Shinobi, y pues la verdad,
esta mejor la historia del anime que de la pelicula, ya que para empezar, a la
pelicula llevaron la mitad de los personajes quitandole argumentos a la
pelicula, aun asi me parecio buena y la disfrute... No he visto mucho del cine
asiatico, pero pues si conozco algunos titulos, de los cuales frecuentemente
comento en el grupo (antes teniamos un foro en donde ponia Reviews, y esta el de
esas dos peliculas, el de Saikano live action, las dos peliculas de Death Note y
Seven Swords *historia muy similar al anime Samurai 7*)... Y pues debo admitir
que mis generos favoritos son el terror, accion, aretes marciales y comedia y en
cuanto a terror, pues si esta mejor el asiatico, si que saben hacer
suspenso...
Yo soy del norte del pais, de Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico (supongo que de
perdida conoceras los perros Chihuahua ,
aunque no son originarios de aqui, pero comparten nombre el perro con el estado,
jeje, que loco?), pues aqui el clima es extremista, es decir, en verano hace
mucho calor y en invierno mucho frio, pero ademas de eso, una parte del estado
es desierto, por lo que el clima es seco en la mayor parte de la region... en
estos momentos, por ser casi invierno, pues se siente frio, de hecho hace un par
de semanas, cayo aguanieve en la ciudad... la verdad no he salido de aqui y no
conozco Guadalajara, pero sin duda, tiene un clima mas agradable que aqui,
espero que pronto veas a tu tio en tierras aztecas...
Con respecto a los toros, a mi no me gustan las fiestas taurinas y tampoco
espero que todos los espanioles les guste, asi que ni lo habia pensado , yo
tambien estoy en contra de la crueldad hacia los animales, y hacia las personas,
todo ser vivo, merece ser respetado, ya de por si la misma naturaleza puede ser
cruel, para que ser crueles nosotros tambien, no?
Y claro que me puedes agregar a tu lista de amigos, me daria mucho gusto que lo
hicieras (yo tambien te voy a agregar a mi lista de amigos)...
Por ahi en el grupo, me preguntaste por mis gustos de anime, pues a mi tambien
me gusta mucho XTv de las Clamp, de hecho tengo la serie, la pelicula, el OVA y
parte del manga , me gusta tambien Bleach (aunque tengo tiempo que no la veo, ni leo
el manga), Perfect Girl Evolution, D.N.Angel, Samurai7, Basilisk, Furuba,
Hellsing, Trinity Blood, Samurai X, Naruto, Las Visiones de Escaflowne, Full
Metal Panic Fumoffu! (esa me hizo reir bastante), entre algunas otras series,
aunque ultimamente no veo mucho anime, en lugar de eso, leo manga y veo dramas
asiaticos (aunque tampoco he visto muchos jajaja)...
Espero que cualquier duda, inquietud o pensamiento que asalte tu mente, lo
compartas conmigo y con los demas miembros del grupo (que son geniales personas)
y muchas gracias por la confianza para contarnos un poco mas de tu
vida...

made me read a text from her book. Needless to say she was on the floor laughing
by the end of the first sentence I had read

ahhh...our holiday is ending way early it
finishes on the 20th of December just a couple of weeks
the worst thing that ever happened was once we were on stage and I was the lead
for this French song we were singing, and there were parents n all and as we
started the song it was all good and there was a part were some people from the
back row are supposed to come up front beside me so as soon as they come, I was
about to stop singing so
I just continued and gave the microphone to someone next to me and they almost
start giggling, so I nudge them to stop and
the teacher got seriously angry at me I
could see her glares and i was
supposed to be the one keeping the mic. didn't turn out as good as how long we
practiced for it, but everyone said it was good.
but the teacher ended up not talking to me for the next month

I remember, we also had a large dog, a St. Bernard I think. I used to play with
him but when Ma saw me she warned me not to . I think I
was only six at that time, maybe she got scared that it would crush me or
something. He was really big, and maybe he weighed about three times my own at
that time. I was really sad when Pa buried him in the garden near the gardenias.
I was only eight I think and crying my heart out . I think
the only time I ever felt more sad was when one of my childhood friends Alicia,
died of pneumonia last year, I really miss her. It was raining that day, and
that's why I always feel sad when it rains.
Oh well, on lighter topics, I haven't told you much about me, haven't I? Well
here goes...
My birthday is December 9th, so I'm turning teen next month. I'm attending
Benjamin Franklin International School here in Barcelona( it's about thirty
percent Spanish, and the rest are foreign students or half and half like me,
lots of language courses, even the faculty is mixed too). My ma is a Brit, but
she grew up in Madrid and Pa is a native Catalan. She's a professor at
Schiller's( another international School here), and he's a Surgeon. I have a
brother and a sister, he's 21 and she's 18( though we connect on a lot of things
). It kinda explains my " premature aging " lol.
My native language is Catalan, then Spanish and English. I love cats, cute
animals, trying out foreign cuisine, mystery novels, drawing( maybe I'll upload
some sketches, they are pretty bad, though ), going to museums and other weird
stuff, good music and some sports( I'm only good at volleyball though I love
watching Mexican Boxing, another weird hobby of mine, Ma says i have violent
tendencies lol). Oh, and lots of anime!
Dislikes, hmmm, rude/arrogant people( like the one I mentioned on my thread ),
loud music, my tendency to catch a cold often, messy rooms, and being constantly
badgered by my friends to audition as a teen model( really, I'm not someone like
Ivana Baquero or Natalie Portman, I'll just make a fool of myself ). And my
brother telling me that I'm thirteen going on thirty( ahh the truth
hurts...).
Whew, was that long or what? Anyway, take care always and I hope we'll be good
friends despite the age gap .

It's sort of crammed with activity right now, choir practice, stage play
practice( I got the part of the Nativity angel, thank goodness it wasn't Maria,
anyway, I don't look " saintly ' in the least )...organizing the Christmas event at school...actually with two members
missing because they got sick. The only things to look forward to would be my
Grandparents coming over from Madrid, as well as my brother and my sis. oh, and
the gifts and home-gatherings with my friends...I think the gift I would most
want to get would be a new guitar, as my current one is in not so good

Well, the person you mentioned has a bit of silmilarities with Pa( he's not that
zealous though ), I guess the discrimination was more apparent then, or maybe I

customs really are different( and a little bit of the cuisine, I love classic
Valencian stuff though ), but then, I'm not really a Catalonian in the
traditional sense, been exposed to a lot of other stuff from my foreigner

classmates , would love to travel there someday )...except for the fact that I
when I'm mad or surprised I sometimes switch automatically to Catalan ,
even when I'm talking to someone doesn't understand it. There have been quite a
controversy about teaching both Spanish and Catalan here at BFIS, I recall Pa
mentioning it, I think some parents were questioning the curriculum for
half-foreigners or students who were not from Barcelona whether or not they
should be taught Catalan at all or just Spanish, but the side for dual language
studies won out in the end, that was before I even attended classes there. I
guess it's a little bit of the prejudice...but so far I haven't felt much of it,
except in some history books( at home, they don't linger on that stuff at
school, if there were any mention of discrimination, it's not quite
pronounced...).
I'm glad you love Zidane too, yeah I'm gonna miss him. You're a fan of
Morientes( my sis loves the guy ), so
you're rooting for Real Madrid, or is it Valencia? RM is on top right now, with
Barcelona at 2nd( I'm split, because I'm a fan of Jordi Codina but I also like
Santiago Ezquerro ), Villareal is 9-4 so they're up there too this year. What about
there in the Philippines, do people like soccer too, or other sports?
Thanks for the advice on my page( I'm just starting with this HTML stuff, but

life now( I can't say I'm enjoying it right now, though ), my brother told me
something like that( in one of his rare moments of not being irritating ),

others think. You usually get torn in between, specially when the two sides are
in constant conflict with one another.
Nope! Here in the Philippines people don't play football and I guess their not
fond of it either except for private schools of course. But even then, majority
of private school student's here are Filipino-Something too in other words those
who are fond of this game are those who are more exposed to European and western
culture. But that still depends which part of west do you belong to! Philippines
and Filipinos are very much influenced by Americans. Something that I'm very
very against it. I love European culture and customs. They're more laid back,
traditional and disciplined. Hopefully one day I'll have the chance to go there
over seas. Right now the places that I want to visit first are Malaysia,
Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong. Mostly because I love gadgets and computers +
Animes!
Anyways my dad is Half Russian-Turkish and my mom Filipino with Spanish
heritage. My genes are a little bit messed up I guess The
situation is not well in middle east although I love the region a lot. That's
why I came here. It was my mom's advice. But honestly, not all those things that
they say on news are true, I tell you. This morning while I was preparing for
school I heard on CNN some nonsenses about Iran's situation. It pissed me off.
They just like to exaggerate in reporting the news. That's why I cannot believe
in what they say anymore. Not only about middle-east but all around the world.
They just seem to be feeding people with whatever they like.
I'm BIG fan of REAL-MADRID! HAHAHAHA...Yup! Coz all the coolest players are
gathered there. REAL is the Hot Zone! It's very
unfortunate that I cannot watch the games specially World Cup as I used to.
If I'm correct you must be the youngest child of three. I have a younger sister,
she's one year younger than me. Now that you mentioned, I guess it's the best
for you to listen to your siblings advice. And treasure your brother a lot.
Brothers come really handy! I always wish that I had an elder brother to guide
me through things. I've few guy friends that I can fully trust, but still they
cannot replace a guy whose from the same flesh and blood. It's sometimes hard to
be the eldest, cos you'll always feel the weight of responsibility on you
shoulders whether others mention it or not. I guess that's innate within all
elder siblings nature. They automatically feel like they have to protect they
youngest. I get into nasty fights with my sister sometimes but I cannot bear to
see any harm come to her even when I'm blind with madness.
You're special. They never tell you that because of their pride but inwardly you're
very dear to them. I think you think a lot about maturing mentally. That's a
good sign I used to be that way. But believe me there's nothing special about
the age that I'm in now. Despite of my age, I still know that I don't know many
things and it scares me beyond words. Once I thought I'll know everything when I
reach this age, but right now I think I have a long way to reach my ideals.

translation, although in Catalan or Aranese it would be Catalunya or Catalonha )

the dialect and a little bit of the customs. By the way, was he from Barcelona,

within a country( according to my history teacher ), so most likely people here
tend to use both Spanish and Catalan( usually at home ), although I never use
Catalan in the net, mainly because it is rare that someone outside of Spain will
understand it .
Hmm, maybe the reason we're alike is because we're both half-something? Oh, and
where in the Middle East did you grow up? I think I would love to learn some
Arabic words( we have quite a number of students from Israel and Syria, I think
in BFIS, most of them upperclassmen ),
after French, which could take quite a while.
Thanks for the compliment about my English. I think it was the result of being a
family with three languages and all of them used at some time at home. My verbal
English would be closer to the British variety though, not the American, since
Ma's parents were both from Southampton. I always love it when they visit us
from Madrid at Christmas. Basically,
we use Catalan at home or at school( but usually classes are in Spanish, except
the Language classes of course...), but Ma insisted in us learning English as
well, so all three of us ended with three languages( well, four for me
).
Glad to hear you also love volleyball. I'm a setter for my school team, since
I'm not that tall( maybe I'll grow up more when I'm 18 or 19, so I can be the

I guess the guy that I used to correspond to belong to Barcelona. From what I
knew he was a very zealous Catolonian. He usually talked about Spaniards wrong
deeds and descrimination. Is it really true? He used to talk about their own
customs, his favorite foods and places he used to travel. The last time that I
heard from him, he was on a trip to Vietnam. Despite of his high blooded and
defensive character, he was a really fun guy to talk with. A very open minded
person that you could talk about anything. I guess the main reason that I got a
long well with him was for his high respect for different nationalities and
cultures.
Unfortunately, I think he's busy now. We lost our contact when I came here to
the Philippines. Ever since I began to study everything in my life changed
course. I don't really like it that much. I prefer to go back the way I used to
be. So cherish every moment of your life now. I promise you once you grow up
you're going to miss these days. And maybe think that you were much wiser and
smarter when you were younger! That's how I feel today! I think despite of
people aging, they tend to become more selfish and childish with their behavior.
It's better to see the world form people on your age.
I love Zidane too! Ronaldo's
of both Brazil and Portugal are also my two other favorites. But Zidane is
always on top the list for me. Too bad that he's retired.

Hey by the way, I forgot to mention something about you're userpage profile. As
an IT student I give a piece of advice, it's better not to fill and decorate your page with many pictures, songs,
videos and animated objects. It'll be distracting and some how makes your page
look too over accessorized. Keep it simple and sophisticated. Something that
show part of you and who you are. Once you begin to learn you'll understand that
colors, designs and presentations represent peoples ideas and personalities a
lot.

I'm gonna try some of the tips from the tutorials you mentioned, right after
doing my homework, I guess. I know a little bit bout Photoshop, just enough to
not mess up when I'm editing pictures or cleaning sketches, haven't mastered
coloring yet, because my brother " confiscates " the tablet so I'm
always stuck with the mouse^^.
About anime, yeah I pretty much have a tendency towards " not-so girly
" shows, with the exception of really good " girly " ones like Ah
My Goddess or Fruit's Basket. Some of my other faves are Cowboy Bebop( I was
only four years old when it came out...!), Gundam Seed, Hunter X Hunter, Blood
Plus, Witch Hunter Robin, One Piece and The Melancholy of Haruhi

class last week about Portugal-Spanish colonies and we had quite a discussion
about Philippines and Cuba. Is it true that most Filipinos today still have

About myself, well I'm attending Benjamin Franklin International School in
Barcelona, we live in Eixample District. I'm twelve turning thirteen come
December 9th. My first language is Catalan, then Spanish, Japanese and English.
I'm trying to learn French but as of now, I'm finding it hard. My Pa is a
surgeon, my Ma is a professor at Schiller's. I'm the youngest in the family, my
brother is 21 but is still juvenile ( even if he's in the university now ) and
my sister is six years older than me ( we connect on many things though ), which
explains my premature aging lol ( even my friends tell me that )! My Ma is a
Brit ( she grew up in Madrid though) and Pa is a native of Barcelona, so I'm
basically a " half-blood "( my friend Lucille came up with that, she's
huge Harry Potter fan, and her Pa's German).
Um, what else, I love trying out foreign food, I love cats and mystery novels,
dry humor, drawing stuff and sports ( I'm only good at volleyball though^^). And
anime, lots of it. I'm a moody person, just a little bit. I dislike rude and
arrogant people, prolonged exposure to loud music and being badgered constantly
to audition as a teen model(really, what's up with that, I'm no Ivana Baquero,
I'll just be humiliated, rrrgh). Oh, and
people saying I'm twelve going on thirty( my brother always says that, ohh,
truth hurts, I guess...^^) lol.

Yeah that's true, there are Filipinos here who still have Spanish blood. One of
them it's me My grand mother is Spanish-Filipino. I'm not
familiar with Filipino Language (Tagalog) much, coz I came here three years ago
for my studies. Filipinos do use some Spanish words in their native language.
Such as days of the week, numbers, months, and some words that they occasionally
use in their conversation.
My mother is a Filipino so that's why I decided to study here. My other half is
Russian-Turkish but I grew up in middle east. By the way, you speak English well

few years ago I came across with a Spanish guy on the internet and we correspond
for few months. I used to teach him Arabic words! ^_^ Since his sister (I guess
she was a journalist) was working in Lebanon. His language was Catalan too and
he used to tell me about the differences between Catalonians (is this the
correct term to use for someone who's from Catalonia? :hmp: ) and Spaniards.
I guess we share a lot of things whether in anime or sports. I also like

It's very nice to hear that you have the same taste in anime as I do. It seems
that there are plenty of Samurai Champloo fans around here that I didn't know.
About the color scheme, you have to click on Control Panel Link and go to Skin Builder. There you will have to input
Hexadecimal code of the colors in order to have your desired color scheme. Keep
in mind though to keep a good and considerable amount of contrast between
background and texts so that it can be easily distinguished. If you want to have
a picture background you have to create it via Photo-shop or Paint-Shop. There's
a tutorial link on the top provided by exentric. and belmikry.
You can even ask your questions of problems from them by posting it on their
tutorial thread.

Volviendo a lo de las alturas, no creo que sea buena idea tomar pildoras o cualquier otro medicamento, apenas empiezas tu etapa de crecimiento, asi que no desesperes... como te comentaron en el thread que hiciste, dejaras de crecer al rededor de los 20 anios, sin embargo, en la etapa de la pubertad (entre los 11 y 16 anios) es cuando los cambios son mas rapidos y notorios, despues de eso, el crecimiento es mas lento hasta que se detiene, pero como tu misma dices, tu familia tiene una estatura promedio alta, y factores como la altura, son hereditarias, asi que las probabilidades de que seas igual de altas son muchas, lo que si sirve, es practicar deportes que estimulen el crecimiento, como lo son el voley y el basket ball, ademas de consumir alimentos ricos en calcio y proteinas (esas son para el desarrollo del musculo)...
Tocando el punto de las peliculas, si he tenido el gusto de ver Casshern y Shinobi... de Casshern, te puedo decir que me gusto mucho la fotografia que tiene, los colores me encantaron, las escenas de accion son geniales y Shinobi tambien me gusto, aunque a mi punto de vista, le falto, no se si hayas visto el anime Basilisk, que es la historia en la que se basa Shinobi, y pues la verdad, esta mejor la historia del anime que de la pelicula, ya que para empezar, a la pelicula llevaron la mitad de los personajes quitandole argumentos a la pelicula, aun asi me parecio buena y la disfrute... No he visto mucho del cine asiatico, pero pues si conozco algunos titulos, de los cuales frecuentemente comento en el grupo (antes teniamos un foro en donde ponia Reviews, y esta el de esas dos peliculas, el de Saikano live action, las dos peliculas de Death Note y Seven Swords *historia muy similar al anime Samurai 7*)... Y pues debo admitir que mis generos favoritos son el terror, accion, aretes marciales y comedia y en cuanto a terror, pues si esta mejor el asiatico, si que saben hacer suspenso...
Yo soy del norte del pais, de Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico (supongo que de perdida conoceras los perros Chihuahua

Nope! Here in the Philippines people don't play football and I guess their not fond of it either except for private schools of course. But even then, majority of private school student's here are Filipino-Something too in other words those who are fond of this game are those who are more exposed to European and western culture. But that still depends which part of west do you belong to! Philippines and Filipinos are very much influenced by Americans. Something that I'm very very against it. I love European culture and customs. They're more laid back, traditional and disciplined. Hopefully one day I'll have the chance to go there over seas. Right now the places that I want to visit first are Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong. Mostly because I love gadgets and computers + Animes!

If I'm correct you must be the youngest child of three. I have a younger sister, she's one year younger than me. Now that you mentioned, I guess it's the best for you to listen to your siblings advice. And treasure your brother a lot. Brothers come really handy! I always wish that I had an elder brother to guide me through things. I've few guy friends that I can fully trust, but still they cannot replace a guy whose from the same flesh and blood. It's sometimes hard to be the eldest, cos you'll always feel the weight of responsibility on you shoulders whether others mention it or not. I guess that's innate within all elder siblings nature. They automatically feel like they have to protect they youngest. I get into nasty fights with my sister sometimes but I cannot bear to see any harm come to her even when I'm blind with madness.

the age that I'm in now. Despite of my age, I still know that I don't know many

I guess the guy that I used to correspond to belong to Barcelona. From what I knew he was a very zealous Catolonian. He usually talked about Spaniards wrong deeds and descrimination. Is it really true? He used to talk about their own customs, his favorite foods and places he used to travel. The last time that I heard from him, he was on a trip to Vietnam. Despite of his high blooded and defensive character, he was a really fun guy to talk with. A very open minded person that you could talk about anything. I guess the main reason that I got a long well with him was for his high respect for different nationalities and cultures.
Unfortunately, I think he's busy now. We lost our contact when I came here to the Philippines. Ever since I began to study everything in my life changed course. I don't really like it that much. I prefer to go back the way I used to be. So cherish every moment of your life now. I promise you once you grow up you're going to miss these days. And maybe think that you were much wiser and smarter when you were younger! That's how I feel today! I think despite of people aging, they tend to become more selfish and childish with their behavior. It's better to see the world form people on your age.

Hey by the way, I forgot to mention something about you're userpage profile. As an IT student I give a piece of advice, it's better not to fill and decorate your page with many pictures, songs, videos and animated objects. It'll be distracting and some how makes your page look too over accessorized. Keep it simple and sophisticated. Something that show part of you and who you are. Once you begin to learn you'll understand that colors, designs and presentations represent peoples ideas and personalities a lot.

Yeah that's true, there are Filipinos here who still have Spanish blood. One of them it's me
My grand mother is Spanish-Filipino. 
I'm not
familiar with Filipino Language (Tagalog) much, coz I came here three years ago
for my studies. Filipinos do use some Spanish words in their native language.
Such as days of the week, numbers, months, and some words that they occasionally
use in their conversation.
My mother is a Filipino so that's why I decided to study here. My other half is Russian-Turkish but I grew up in middle east. By the way, you speak English well
Once
few years ago I came across with a Spanish guy on the internet and we correspond
for few months. I used to teach him Arabic words! ^_^ Since his sister (I guess
she was a journalist) was working in Lebanon. His language was Catalan too and
he used to tell me about the differences between Catalonians (is this the
correct term to use for someone who's from Catalonia? :hmp: ) and Spaniards.
I guess we share a lot of things whether in anime or sports. I also like Volleyball but not until I took its class few semesters ago. Never thought it can be so interesting. I love swimming too

About the color scheme, you have to click on Control Panel Link and go to Skin Builder. There you will have to input Hexadecimal code of the colors in order to have your desired color scheme. Keep in mind though to keep a good and considerable amount of contrast between background and texts so that it can be easily distinguished. If you want to have a picture background you have to create it via Photo-shop or Paint-Shop. There's a tutorial link on the top provided by exentric. and belmikry. You can even ask your questions of problems from them by posting it on their tutorial thread.
