ALL wallpapers or doujinshi you submit must be your own work, and yours only. You may not find and 'tweak' a wallpaper or add a bunch of names and submit it here. You also cannot enlarge an image and say that artwork is your doujin.

Keltosh's warning expired, so Warning #1.

Quote by theshadow77Here's the true defining question: do you really believe in God? I, myself, am a Methodist, but I don't often go to church, mostly because I just moved here to New York and haven't found a church yet. Even so, I've begun to question the existence of God, not because I feel he hasn't been there for me, not at all. It's only that most if not all events in the Bible can be explained by science. This first stirred my interest when I watched a program on the History Cannel showed that all the plagues that Moses foretold could be explained by the occurrence of only one event: the disaster of Pompeii. Examples:

Hail that burst into flame - Actually debris from the eruption, the extreme heat from the volcano would make it burst into flame.

Profound darkness - Ashes from the volcano scattered into atmosphere. Similar to an "extinction of the dinosaurs" theory, but exponentially smaller.

Parting of the Red Sea - A part of the Red Sea, called the Empty Quarter, is known for being as dry as the Sahara one time, and as full as any other sea the next. For more info, go here.

So you can see that many things can be explained by science. Thinking about this, I've become somewhat of a loose atheist. Discuss your feelings about this.

God uses his creations as tools to make events occur. Science might be able to explain the plagues that moses brought unto Egypt, however this should not be the reason to disbelieve in God. This should instead be reason to believe in it all the more. Remember... it is not how these things occured, becasue God uses his creation as tools. It is the timing in which they occur that show the presence of God.

As for you feelings about God... his existance cannot be directly proven, but instead seen in the world. (Romans 1:20) I have felt him in my life. I have seen how he has shaped the events of my past to save me from harm. Ernestly seek, and you will find. When all else fails... remember that there is nothing to lose even if Atheism were true. Love all that is good, holy and pure, for that way is right in the laws that God has put in our hearts. (Romans 2:15)

Chistianity goes together with science, not against it. I am a Methodist Christian too. If you have any questions be sure to ask me. tobiast88, Shinsengumi89 and alexjohnc3 are all members of the MT-Atheists group, some of whom would love to see you fall. If you have doubts about Christianity come and ask us at the MT-Christian Fellowship.

Referances:

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
