Waah, these days are kinda frustrating, with choir/christmas play practice and
me having another case of colds...were two people short in the organizing group
for the Christmas event...hope you are having a better time of it than I
do^^
Oh, you are in a choir? That sounds great, sometimes I wish I had joined one
I
really enjoy singing
Hope you feel better soon, I hate colds. I'm still surprised I haven't caught a
cold yet! I'm usually sensitive towards colds and catch them very easily
Well, I've had quite a stressful week, with a lot of tests and I had to study
for all of them! Not to mention tomorrow (Friday) I'll be graded at Spanish and
I have to re-read the lessons because I hardly remember anything
^^ Sorry for the late reply, hope you understand!

Hey, sounds like we're both having a tough time of it. Well maybe, your tests
are a lot harder ...
Well, at least I didn't mess up during practice this afternoon, my cold's gone
down a little.
Ei...good luck with your marks in Spanish, I could teach you some weird wordings
lol...the not-so-conventional stuff. Well...language exams are coming up here
to...have to work on my French(rrrggg...I'm having a hard time with it...),
sometimes it sounds quite a bit like Catalan( my native language ), but I
sometimes mess up with all the "silent letters". Hey, take care...and
don't catch a cold, or you could catch mine, all the way from Barcelona lol .
Yay, you're feeling better! Glad to know it, don't you dare let that darn cold
get you down!
I'd appreciate it, I think you'd be a better teacher than mine Mine
is rather harsh but very funny and ironic at times! I respect her, but she asks
difficult questions sometimes
I hope you have a good French teacher, the one at my school is a little crazy
My class is divided into 3 parts during the second: the ones
who study Spanish, the ones who study French and one who studies German. Well,
the ones who study French keep telling me their teacher is crazy and grades them
unfairly - can't complain about my teacher, she grades correctly. I wouldn't
want to be in their shoes, though
Don't tell me about speaking French, my desk mate (who studies French), once
made me read a text from her book. Needless to say she was on the floor laughing
by the end of the first sentence I had read I'm terrible at reading in French!
I'll pass that cold This
year is unusual, my class should have been sick by now! We're all healthy, and I
think that is because of the warm weather (it's been raining for 3 days, and it
should be snowing at this time of year!)
By the way, which song is your favorite these days? Mine is Infernal - "I
won't be crying".
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156
Waahh, I'm jealous, you're holidays start at the 12th? Ours
usually start at the 22nd/23rd about the same as Madrid( in the Belearics though
they start a day late ). I ends at the 6th of January( again, usually ).
Haha, I guess were both moody people when we have a cold, my voice was really
pitchy and it doesn't help that I'm on first row...I swear if I heard another
snicker from the back row I would ... another thing is organizing the Christmas event with two people short(
could'nt blame them though, they are sick...:nya:), as well as the fact that I'm
a member of Drama Club( I feel like quitting, but Ma wants to see me perform,
I'm the Christmas angel in the Nativity story by the way, thank heavens I didn't
get Maria, because I'm not in the least saintly-looking lol ). So many things to
practice with my nose feeling like it's doubled in size ...oh
well like you said, no quitting!
yup, ours starts on the 12th.
ahhh...our holiday is ending way early
it finishes on the 20th of December just a couple of weeks
the worst thing that ever happened was once we were on stage and I was the lead
for this French song we were singing, and there were parents n all and as we
started the song it was all good and there was a part were some people from the
back row are supposed to come up front beside me so as soon as they come, I was
about to stop singing so I just continued and gave the microphone to someone next to me and they
almost start giggling, so I nudge them to stop
and the teacher got seriously angry at me I could see her glares and i
was supposed to be the one keeping the mic. didn't turn out as good as how long
we practiced for it, but everyone said it was good.
but the teacher ended up not talking to me for the next month
awww haha nice, yup if your mum wants to see you perform then why not just do so
ne Good Luck to you too!
and hope you get well soon.

Hello again Elena .
Well, you can call me either of the two, by the way, everyone calls me
Emilia/'Milia and only Pa calls me " Lena". It's kinda strange, so
I'll call you Toya so you can call me Helena and it won't rhyme lol . By the way, are you half Japanese or did you move to Saudi Arabia? Oh, and
what happened to your grey kitten ?
I remember, we also had a large dog, a St. Bernard I think. I used to play with
him but when Ma saw me she warned me not to . I
think I was only six at that time, maybe she got scared that it would crush me
or something. He was really big, and maybe he weighed about three times my own
at that time. I was really sad when Pa buried him in the garden near the
gardenias. I was only eight I think and crying my heart out . I
think the only time I ever felt more sad was when one of my childhood friends
Alicia, died of pneumonia last year, I really miss her. It was raining that day,
and that's why I always feel sad when it rains.
Oh well, on lighter topics, I haven't told you much about me, haven't I? Well
here goes...
My birthday is December 9th, so I'm turning teen next month. I'm attending
Benjamin Franklin International School here in Barcelona( it's about thirty
percent Spanish, and the rest are foreign students or half and half like me,
lots of language courses, even the faculty is mixed too). My ma is a Brit, but
she grew up in Madrid and Pa is a native Catalan. She's a professor at
Schiller's( another international School here), and he's a Surgeon. I have a
brother and a sister, he's 21 and she's 18( though we connect on a lot of things
). It kinda explains my " premature aging " lol.
My native language is Catalan, then Spanish and English. I love cats, cute
animals, trying out foreign cuisine, mystery novels, drawing( maybe I'll upload
some sketches, they are pretty bad, though ), going to museums and other weird
stuff, good music and some sports( I'm only good at volleyball though I love
watching Mexican Boxing, another weird hobby of mine, Ma says i have violent
tendencies lol). Oh, and lots of anime!
Dislikes, hmmm, rude/arrogant people( like the one I mentioned on my thread ),
loud music, my tendency to catch a cold often, messy rooms, and being constantly
badgered by my friends to audition as a teen model( really, I'm not someone like
Ivana Baquero or Natalie Portman, I'll just make a fool of myself ). And
my brother telling me that I'm thirteen going on thirty( ahh the truth
hurts...).
Whew, was that long or what? Anyway, take care always and I hope we'll be good
friends despite the age gap .
Best wishes and advanced Happy Christmas from Barcelona.
***from Emilia***
Hey there Helena, oh btw Elena or Toya isn't my real name, it's just an alias I
prefer to use on the net, and i don't pronounce Elena like it's written I
always have different ways is it, I like pronouncing it Eleina but
write it Elena. No I'm born in the
Middle East and from the Middle East , which
means I have no Japanese blood in me, so that explains.
The grey kitten it died...
what happened was my mum didn't like the idea of having it all around the house,
so she set it free letting it out of the house, so it slid from under the gate
and someone saw it get run down by a car ahhhh it was so sad
oh, i see.
May Alicia rest in peace.
well, people do come and go so you can pray for her maybe, no use crying over
her ne. although yes i know how you feel bout this so yea, some things really
are easier said than done.
So your birthday is after three days! yay~ an early Happy Birthday then, i'll
rmbr to wish you again then
my Birthday's on March 2 which means i'll be turning 16.
same here I like a lot of animals especially small cute ones, there are a lot of
cats in our compound here and there are those ppl who clean them, so two days
ago I was talking a walk with my baby bro(he's turning 5 on January but to me i
always call him my baby bro since he's the youngest )
anyways so i see this tiny kitten, it looked so cute, so i slowly slowly get
closer and I carried it, it was so freakin tiny and cute
haha from the movie "13 Going on 30" nah
don't take it too personal, I'm sure he's just teasing, siblings are always this
way.
awww an early Merry Christmas to you too!
apologies for my late replies normally we are expected to exert all our energy on the last weeks of school
so basically it's all about "work work work study study
study"
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156
I'll be sure to bring some with me when I travel to Alaska, although I think
I'll have more problems with colds than ever before . And
maybe some Crema Catalana with me...well if you like cinnamon that is, it sure
smells good, so maybe. Wait, if the arctic is getting smaller...would the sea
levels rise or something( okay, I'm getting scientific-y again lol ), I somehow
don't like that scenario .
Ah, so you like girls with long hair...not practical though, sometimes.
Especially when it frizzes like mine during hot days. So you're half-Filipino, I
think I have met a lot of Filipinos here in MT, aside from the Japanese folk or
Koreans...anyway the only things I know about the Philippines is from History
class( they used to be a colony of Spain in the 19th Century ), and other things
from MT members over there.
Thanks for the advice, I'm quite prone to colds since I was little
anyway...kinda gotten used to it. So, when does the holidays start over
there?
Oo, I like cinnamon. The taste, the smell. All of it. Crema Catalana sounds
good. The sea level (worldwide) is rising. Little by little. But you won't be
alive to see any over the top disasters. Like if the world goes under or
something. It is a scary thought though.
Whoa. Aren't you a little too young to be talking about what boys like and such?
I keep forgetting that I'm talking to a 12 year old. But you.. are.. so smart.
You remind me of my classmate from 5th grade. Her name was Mallory. She was
blonde but she was not dumb. She was a genius. She could "pwn" anyone
in my class. Ah.. the Philippines. Its the Pearl of the south pacific. Japan is
just north of it. Japan.. Land of the rising sun. Though I think that title
should go to New Zealand. The sun rises in New Zealand before Japan. If you look
at me, I look more filipino than spanish. My skin is like a tannish color. Alot
of my relatives have that light asian skin color (not really a color). And it
sucks because I want to look more asian too! Also, girls love guys with fair
skin. Gosh, it sucks to be me .
The holidays over here are already starting. It will end on new years day.
Ey, it's me Emilia. How are the coming holidays shaping up?
[/quote
I know...Someone reported her I guess.. Anyway, We decorated a christmas tree
yesterday. I can't wait until I get out of school for the vacation! How are
yours?
It's sort of crammed with activity right now, choir practice, stage play
practice( I got the part of the Nativity angel, thank goodness it wasn't Maria,
anyway, I don't look " saintly ' in the least )...organizing the Christmas event at school...actually with two members
missing because they got sick. The only things to look forward to would be my
Grandparents coming over from Madrid, as well as my brother and my sis. oh, and
the gifts and home-gatherings with my friends...I think the gift I would most
want to get would be a new guitar, as my current one is in not so good
condition, wouldn't throw it away of course. But, I don't think I'll get it this
year...maybe next year. So when does Christmas break start for you
guys?
Wow, that's alot of stuff. I get out December 21 and I stay out until January
7...
I'd love to taste some Valencian dishes. I usually eat cereal or some [prison]
related food. But I eat anything that smells good. I see that you want to live
in a snowy area. I live in an area dominated by snow. I live up north. And now
that the whole golbal warming thing is increasing, this place is getting colder
since the arctic is getting smaller.
So you got a haircut. Good for you. I still think you have nice hair in your
picture. Long terminal hair compliments girls. Hmm.. My dad is of Spanish blood.
My mother is a filipina. We moved here when I was seven. It was hard to adapt to
a new environment but I guess I gotten used to it. Well, take care with your
health and choir.
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156
Yep, she's a Brit, pure Southampton. She was quite young when my abuelos came to
Madrid. My Grandpa( her side ) was a orthodontist at the Hospital de
Cantoblanco( he and Pa got along really well because they're both medical
practitioners, and the fact that they both love bowling...). I think she spent
the whole of secondaria there, before she met Pa at the university...
Well, the person you mentioned has a bit of silmilarities with Pa( he's not that
zealous though ), I guess the discrimination was more apparent then, or maybe I
would feel it a lot more when I'm older, mehh, I sure hope not. Well, some
customs really are different( and a little bit of the cuisine, I love classic
Valencian stuff though ), but then, I'm not really a Catalonian in the
traditional sense, been exposed to a lot of other stuff from my foreigner
friends/acquaintances( I certainly know a lot about Britain than most of my
classmates , would love to travel there someday )...except for the fact that I
when I'm mad or surprised I sometimes switch automatically to Catalan , even when I'm talking to someone doesn't understand it. There have been
quite a controversy about teaching both Spanish and Catalan here at BFIS, I
recall Pa mentioning it, I think some parents were questioning the curriculum
for half-foreigners or students who were not from Barcelona whether or not they
should be taught Catalan at all or just Spanish, but the side for dual language
studies won out in the end, that was before I even attended classes there. I
guess it's a little bit of the prejudice...but so far I haven't felt much of it,
except in some history books( at home, they don't linger on that stuff at
school, if there were any mention of discrimination, it's not quite
pronounced...).
I'm glad you love Zidane too, yeah I'm gonna miss him. You're a fan of
Morientes( my sis loves the guy ), so
you're rooting for Real Madrid, or is it Valencia? RM is on top right now, with
Barcelona at 2nd( I'm split, because I'm a fan of Jordi Codina but I also like
Santiago Ezquerro ),
Villareal is 9-4 so they're up there too this year. What about there in the
Philippines, do people like soccer too, or other sports?
Thanks for the advice on my page( I'm just starting with this HTML stuff, but
I'm enjoying it ),
I'll keep it in mind. I love the thing you said about enjoying life now( I can't
say I'm enjoying it right now, though ), my brother told me something like that(
in one of his rare moments of not being irritating ), he said that I'm such in a hurry to grow up or something like that. Maybe
it's just the way I am, sometimes I feel like I should know a lot of things by
now, and I don't, sometimes I feel frustrated. Even my friends tell me that I
should act a little more for my age...I guess I haven't really noticed
it.
My sis has been away for a while( I really miss her, looking forward to her
coming home for Christmas ), I guess the way you said that, you reminded me of
her( my parents are kinda always busy with work, not that they don't have time,
but just not as much as other people would have...), wah sorry...I'm kinda
blabbering. Thanks and hope to talk to you again( hugs )
I guess I know what you mean. Being half-blooded is not very exciting (my
friends usually think that way ) as others think. You usually get torn in between, specially when the two
sides are in constant conflict with one another.
Nope! Here in the Philippines people don't play football and I guess their not
fond of it either except for private schools of course. But even then, majority
of private school student's here are Filipino-Something too in other words those
who are fond of this game are those who are more exposed to European and western
culture. But that still depends which part of west do you belong to! Philippines
and Filipinos are very much influenced by Americans. Something that I'm very
very against it. I love European culture and customs. They're more laid back,
traditional and disciplined. Hopefully one day I'll have the chance to go there
over seas. Right now the places that I want to visit first are Malaysia,
Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong. Mostly because I love gadgets and computers +
Animes!
Anyways my dad is Half Russian-Turkish and my mom Filipino with Spanish
heritage. My genes are a little bit messed up I guess The situation is not well in middle east although I love the region a lot.
That's why I came here. It was my mom's advice. But honestly, not all those
things that they say on news are true, I tell you. This morning while I was
preparing for school I heard on CNN some nonsenses about Iran's situation. It
pissed me off. They just like to exaggerate in reporting the news. That's why I
cannot believe in what they say anymore. Not only about middle-east but all
around the world. They just seem to be feeding people with whatever they
like.
I'm BIG fan of REAL-MADRID! HAHAHAHA...Yup! Coz all the coolest players are
gathered there. REAL is the Hot Zone! It's
very unfortunate that I cannot watch the games specially World Cup as I used to.
If I'm correct you must be the youngest child of three. I have a younger sister,
she's one year younger than me. Now that you mentioned, I guess it's the best
for you to listen to your siblings advice. And treasure your brother a lot.
Brothers come really handy! I always wish that I had an elder brother to guide
me through things. I've few guy friends that I can fully trust, but still they
cannot replace a guy whose from the same flesh and blood. It's sometimes hard to
be the eldest, cos you'll always feel the weight of responsibility on you
shoulders whether others mention it or not. I guess that's innate within all
elder siblings nature. They automatically feel like they have to protect they
youngest. I get into nasty fights with my sister sometimes but I cannot bear to
see any harm come to her even when I'm blind with madness.
You're special. They
never tell you that because of their pride but inwardly you're very dear to
them. I think you think a lot about maturing mentally. That's a good sign I
used to be that way. But believe me there's nothing special about the age that
I'm in now. Despite of my age, I still know that I don't know many things and it
scares me beyond words. Once I thought I'll know everything when I reach this
age, but right now I think I have a long way to reach my ideals.
Ey, it's me Emilia. How are the coming holidays shaping up?
I know...Someone reported her I guess.. Anyway, We decorated a christmas tree

me ). By the way, nice to meet you, Wil...^^ how are you doing? Preparing for
the holidays?
Whats up? Its nice to meet you too. I like your family name. Mine is Rosales.
Yeah it doesn't sound very Alaska-y but I'm not a native here. Oh food, I want
some. Lol. Our holiday is only Christmas, so everything my family does this
month is for that one. Its cold and white outside, as always.
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156Hey
there Elena, how was your day? Mine is a bit frustrating...waaahhh, stupid choir
practice, had a bout of cold again....pitch problems, can't not practice
though...performance coming up in the 18th...
Hey Helena, i'm so sorry for the late reply n all, I was busy with school and
all projects and studies, so wasn't even able to drop by MT, other than that,
i'll reply to your other post tomorrow, normally Wednesdays r my all-day free
day
My day was fine, haha you are not the only one with that stuff, we even have
this stage event and i was chosen to sing and until now I am not really in the mood for practice yet, I got a cold last
week so I wasn't even able to sing required the voice i normally have when i'm
fine the problem is I am not even in the mood for practice anymore for some reason
but everyone would be disappointed if I would just leave like
that I mean I am the second one in charge and the first important chosen person, i
wouldn't mind being in charge and teaching the rest how to sing and all, but
being the one singing...no mood, I already am responsible for other events...
oh well, Good Luck for you! don't give up ya!
so when's your Christmas break?
our holidays start on the 12th of December, one more week left.
take care!
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156
Interesting, so I would probably recognize a lot of words if ever I visit there
.
I don't suppose he told you that thing about Catalonian ( the English
translation, although in Catalan or Aranese it would be Catalunya or Catalonha )
women being prettier than most Spanish women? My Pa always says that( yet he
married Ma, who is neither Catalonian or Spanish ), but I
guess I'm here to prove it wrong haha. Most likely the difference would be in
the dialect and a little bit of the customs. By the way, was he from Barcelona,
or maybe Tarragona( where they seem to mind the difference with the rest of
Spain more )? Anyway, I can best describe Catalonia as an autonomous state within a
country( according to my history teacher ), so most likely people here tend to
use both Spanish and Catalan( usually at home ), although I never use Catalan in
the net, mainly because it is rare that someone outside of Spain will understand
it .
Hmm, maybe the reason we're alike is because we're both half-something? Oh, and
where in the Middle East did you grow up? I think I would love to learn some
Arabic words( we have quite a number of students from Israel and Syria, I think
in BFIS, most of them upperclassmen ), after French, which could take quite a while.
Thanks for the compliment about my English. I think it was the result of being a
family with three languages and all of them used at some time at home. My verbal
English would be closer to the British variety though, not the American, since
Ma's parents were both from Southampton. I always love it when they visit us
from Madrid at Christmas. Basically, we use Catalan at home or at school( but usually classes are in
Spanish, except the Language classes of course...), but Ma insisted in us
learning English as well, so all three of us ended with three languages( well,
four for me ).
Glad to hear you also love volleyball. I'm a setter for my school team, since
I'm not that tall( maybe I'll grow up more when I'm 18 or 19, so I can be the
attacker ). Other sports I like would be soccer ( I'm a fan of Zinedine Zidane
and Santiago Canizares, among others) and Mexican Boxing( my friends say I'm
tomboy-ish because of this ). I
can't swim yet, but I'm learning to float, maybe I'll take swimming lessons when
school year ends or during the holidays. My cousin Luis though, is a very good
swimmer, he's like a fish( but I tell him he's like a squid
).
Where is your mother form, may I ask? Is she British?
I guess the guy that I used to correspond to belong to Barcelona. From what I
knew he was a very zealous Catolonian. He usually talked about Spaniards wrong
deeds and descrimination. Is it really true? He used to talk about their own
customs, his favorite foods and places he used to travel. The last time that I
heard from him, he was on a trip to Vietnam. Despite of his high blooded and
defensive character, he was a really fun guy to talk with. A very open minded
person that you could talk about anything. I guess the main reason that I got a
long well with him was for his high respect for different nationalities and
cultures.
Unfortunately, I think he's busy now. We lost our contact when I came here to
the Philippines. Ever since I began to study everything in my life changed
course. I don't really like it that much. I prefer to go back the way I used to
be. So cherish every moment of your life now. I promise you once you grow up
you're going to miss these days. And maybe think that you were much wiser and
smarter when you were younger! That's how I feel today! I think despite of
people aging, they tend to become more selfish and childish with their behavior.
It's better to see the world form people on your age.
I love Zidane too!
Ronaldo's of both Brazil and Portugal are also my two other favorites. But
Zidane is always on top the list for me. Too bad that he's retired.
merged: 12-03-2007 ~ 08:42pm
Fernando Morientes is also one of my favorites. He looks so cute

Hey by the way, I forgot to mention something about you're userpage profile. As
an IT student I give a piece of advice, it's better not to fill and decorate your page with many pictures, songs,
videos and animated objects. It'll be distracting and some how makes your page
look too over accessorized. Keep it simple and sophisticated. Something that
show part of you and who you are. Once you begin to learn you'll understand that
colors, designs and presentations represent peoples ideas and personalities a
lot.
Hey whats good with your side of planet earth?
Interesting page. Never heard of many of the things you find fancy. Only some.
Anyways, I'm Wil. And thanks for the name.
I hate it. Well. I'm about to roll up outta here. See you later.
I'm gonna try some of the tips from the tutorials you mentioned, right after
doing my homework, I guess. I know a little bit bout Photoshop, just enough to
not mess up when I'm editing pictures or cleaning sketches, haven't mastered
coloring yet, because my brother " confiscates " the tablet so I'm
always stuck with the mouse^^.
About anime, yeah I pretty much have a tendency towards " not-so girly
" shows, with the exception of really good " girly " ones like Ah
My Goddess or Fruit's Basket. Some of my other faves are Cowboy Bebop( I was
only four years old when it came out...!), Gundam Seed, Hunter X Hunter, Blood
Plus, Witch Hunter Robin, One Piece and The Melancholy of Haruhi
Suzumiya.
By the way, you're from the Philippines, right? I remember a topic in history
class last week about Portugal-Spanish colonies and we had quite a discussion
about Philippines and Cuba. Is it true that most Filipinos today still have
Spanish blood and that we have a lot of similar last names? Do you still use
Spanish as a language? Nee, just curious^^.
About myself, well I'm attending Benjamin Franklin International School in
Barcelona, we live in Eixample District. I'm twelve turning thirteen come
December 9th. My first language is Catalan, then Spanish, Japanese and English.
I'm trying to learn French but as of now, I'm finding it hard. My Pa is a
surgeon, my Ma is a professor at Schiller's. I'm the youngest in the family, my
brother is 21 but is still juvenile ( even if he's in the university now ) and
my sister is six years older than me ( we connect on many things though ), which
explains my premature aging lol ( even my friends tell me that )! My Ma is a
Brit ( she grew up in Madrid though) and Pa is a native of Barcelona, so I'm
basically a " half-blood "( my friend Lucille came up with that, she's
huge Harry Potter fan, and her Pa's German).
Um, what else, I love trying out foreign food, I love cats and mystery novels,
dry humor, drawing stuff and sports ( I'm only good at volleyball though^^). And
anime, lots of it. I'm a moody person, just a little bit. I dislike rude and
arrogant people, prolonged exposure to loud music and being badgered constantly
to audition as a teen model(really, what's up with that, I'm no Ivana Baquero,
I'll just be humiliated, rrrgh). Oh, and
people saying I'm twelve going on thirty( my brother always says that, ohh,
truth hurts, I guess...^^) lol.
Well, that was long. Hopefully we can be friends despite the age difference.
Good luck with your studies ( I sure need it with mine^^) and take care
always!

Yeah that's true, there are Filipinos here who still have Spanish blood. One of
them it's me My
grand mother is Spanish-Filipino. I'm
not familiar with Filipino Language (Tagalog) much, coz I came here three years
ago for my studies. Filipinos do use some Spanish words in their native
language. Such as days of the week, numbers, months, and some words that they
occasionally use in their conversation.
My mother is a Filipino so that's why I decided to study here. My other half is
Russian-Turkish but I grew up in middle east. By the way, you speak English well
Once few years ago I came across with a Spanish guy on the internet and we
correspond for few months. I used to teach him Arabic words! ^_^ Since his
sister (I guess she was a journalist) was working in Lebanon. His language was
Catalan too and he used to tell me about the differences between Catalonians (is
this the correct term to use for someone who's from Catalonia? :hmp: ) and
Spaniards.
I guess we share a lot of things whether in anime or sports. I also like
Volleyball but not until I took its class few semesters ago. Never thought it
can be so interesting. I love swimming too I
love floating in water...Just like a fish .
Hey how are you emilia u from spain right i want to See Spain maybe sometime in
future i will decide to go to Spain. my cousin he is mad about spain dont know
why he learned Spanish too but havent been there yet.where in spain are you?

Hello, great songs you've got there!
You actually mentioned four of my fave songs, well if there had been a number
six or seven in my list .
So, you like "Lejla " too, in that case, check out " Ustao
", it was used as a track for " Behind Enemy Lines ", the Gene
Hackmn film(?), very sad, kinda like a mourning hymn with the choir and
stuff.
I also love Mitternacht and Hijo de la Luna, by the way. Cheers to good music
and take care !
Hi! Glad to know we like so many songs! Indeed, cheers to good music!
I'll be sure to check out "Ustao", is it by Hari Mata Hari as well?
You made me curious!

By the way, I love your wallies, and your gallery in general. I'm not much of a
visual artist, but I can definitely see good stuff from a mile away.
Would it be okay, to add you to my friendlist?
Greetings from Spain and see you around, I'll keep in touch!
Sorry for not replying earlier, and thank you for the compliments
Sure, you can add me to your friendlist, but only if you allow me to add you as
well
See you around!
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156Hola,
I just found an interesting thread ( wink, wink ) you made, a little bit funny
if you ask me.
You're Mexican, haven't seen a lot of Mexicans here on MT, but maybe that's
because I'm new here.
See you around and greetings from Barcelona!
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156Hello
there, Izumi-chan, sorry for the late reply, lots of schoolwork lately . Hope to see more of your wonderful wallies. And, if you have time, drop by
my gallery, I'm going to upload some terrible( gag ) sketches of mine soon, hope
you can stand them .
Oh, and can I add you to my friendlist, thanks again. Take care and well wishes,
from Emilia.
Hi! No problems on late-ness~ I'm usually super late with everything too~
Thanks! And sure, I'll take a look at them when you post~ I'll add you in my
watchlist to be sure not to miss them, okay? If you want to add me as well, feel
free too~
See you later! ^.^
Quote: My, that's interesting, and
quite tragic if you ask me.
So, if it's true, then people rarely get to meet their soulmates? I love how you
mentioned that they're sort of like spirit guides, it's like something out of a
fantasy/romance anime or book.
Anyway, thanks for the response and take care!
P.S. Can I add you to my friendlist? Thanks again !
hey thanks for taking the time to visit and stop by my guest book
From what I've learned from my guides is that you get one brief second to meet
your soulmate as you and them pass in passing from one section of the life to
the other...I do believe in spirit guides I've learned this long before I even
knew what anime/manga was and I don't mind a bit if you make me a friend I
accepted
Just checked out your userpage and my, that's an adorable puppy you've got
there. I'm a cat person, but I still think puppies are cute anyway. Do you mind
if I add you to my friendlist? Thanks again and I'll keep in
touch!
your welcome.
thanks a lot for the comment on my puppy. yup
he really sure is cute
I think small kittens would also be nice as pets, they're so cute we once
had a grey kitten long long years n years back and it
was so freakin cute.
Sure I don't mind us being friends as long as we try to stay in touch.
take care~!
oh, you can call me Elena or Toya.
as for you? hrmm...is it Emilia or Helena?
have a nice time!
Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156Hello!
Hope you're doing fine. Thanks for the response to my thread:).
Well, looks like we have a lot in common with our preferred anime series, glad I
found another girl fan of Samurai Champloo! We really are hard to come by^^.
Although I've yet to watch as much shows as you do, but I think I'm on my way to
"anime addiction " too!
I love the color scheme of your userpage, by the way, very relaxing. How do you
change that? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to HTML. Can you give me some
codes, you know so I can create a mini profile like yours with embedded images
and stuff. Oh, and how can you embed video or a song playlist like imeem on your
page. Thanks in advance^^!
Before I go, can I add you to my friendlist? Take care always, I'll keep in
touch.
Greetings and advanced Feliz Navidad from Barcelona!
*** from Emilia***
Hey! It's very nice to hear that you have the same taste in anime as I
do. It seems that there are plenty of Samurai Champloo fans around here
that I didn't know.
About the color scheme, you have to click on Control Panel Link and go to Skin Builder. There you will have to input
Hexadecimal code of the colors in order to have your desired color scheme. Keep
in mind though to keep a good and considerable amount of contrast between
background and texts so that it can be easily distinguished. If you want to have
a picture background you have to create it via Photo-shop or Paint-Shop. There's
a tutorial link on the top provided by exentric. and belmikry.
You can even ask your questions of problems from them by posting it on their
tutorial thread.
The content of my page is a very basic HTML code click here. It contains all the info you
need about HTML.
Hope that this could help you.

Thnaks for your comment of eureka
seven:http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/315215/. Just like you say the character
is a bit light but it is like this in the anime, and it is more light because
the sun is almost in front of it. However I think it is too light in the anime
but no matter. I used a simple optical mouse. Thanks and good bye
Hello Mortiferatrinidad ^^
just dropping by to thank you for posting in my Everything and Anything thread ^^
feel free to join the randomness at any time
take care and hope to see you around,

Oh, you are in a choir? That sounds great, sometimes I wish I had joined one
I
really enjoy singing

Hope you feel better soon, I hate colds. I'm still surprised I haven't caught a cold yet! I'm usually sensitive towards colds and catch them very easily
Well, I've had quite a stressful week, with a lot of tests and I had to study for all of them! Not to mention tomorrow (Friday) I'll be graded at Spanish and I have to re-read the lessons because I hardly remember anything
^^ Sorry for the late reply, hope you understand!
merged: 12-07-2007 ~ 03:43am
Yay, you're feeling better! Glad to know it, don't you dare let that darn cold get you down!
Mine
is rather harsh but very funny and ironic at times! I respect her, but she asks
difficult questions sometimes
I'd appreciate it, I think you'd be a better teacher than mine
I hope you have a good French teacher, the one at my school is a little crazy
My class is divided into 3 parts during the second: the ones
who study Spanish, the ones who study French and one who studies German. Well,
the ones who study French keep telling me their teacher is crazy and grades them
unfairly - can't complain about my teacher, she grades correctly. I wouldn't
want to be in their shoes, though
Don't tell me about speaking French, my desk mate (who studies French), once made me read a text from her book. Needless to say she was on the floor laughing by the end of the first sentence I had read
I'm terrible at reading in French!
I'll pass that cold
This
year is unusual, my class should have been sick by now! We're all healthy, and I
think that is because of the warm weather (it's been raining for 3 days, and it
should be snowing at this time of year!)
By the way, which song is your favorite these days? Mine is Infernal - "I won't be crying".
yup, ours starts on the 12th.
it finishes on the 20th of December just a couple of weeks
so I just continued and gave the microphone to someone next to me and they
almost start giggling, so I nudge them to stop
and the teacher got seriously angry at me
I could see her glares
and i
was supposed to be the one keeping the mic. didn't turn out as good as how long
we practiced for it, but everyone said it was good.
Good Luck to you too!
ahhh...our holiday is ending way early
the worst thing that ever happened was once we were on stage and I was the lead for this French song we were singing, and there were parents n all and as we started the song it was all good and there was a part were some people from the back row are supposed to come up front beside me so as soon as they come, I was about to stop singing
but the teacher ended up not talking to me for the next month
awww haha nice, yup if your mum wants to see you perform then why not just do so ne
and hope you get well soon.
Hey there Helena, oh btw Elena or Toya isn't my real name, it's just an alias I prefer to use on the net, and i don't pronounce Elena like it's written
I
always have different ways is it,
I like pronouncing it Eleina but
write it Elena. No I'm born in the
Middle East and from the Middle East
, which
means I have no Japanese blood in me, so that explains.
it died...
what happened was my mum didn't like the idea of having it all around the house,
so she set it free letting it out of the house, so it slid from under the gate
and someone saw it get run down by a car
ahhhh
it was so sad
The grey kitten
oh, i see.
May Alicia rest in peace.
well, people do come and go so you can pray for her maybe, no use crying over her ne. although yes i know how you feel bout this so yea, some things really are easier said than done.
So your birthday is after three days! yay~ an early Happy Birthday then, i'll rmbr to wish you again then

)
anyways so i see this tiny kitten, it looked so cute, so i slowly slowly get
closer and I carried it, it was so freakin tiny and cute
nah
don't take it too personal, I'm sure he's just teasing, siblings are always this
way.
normally we are expected to exert all our energy on the last weeks of school
so basically it's all about "work work work study study
study"
my Birthday's on March 2 which means i'll be turning 16.
same here I like a lot of animals especially small cute ones, there are a lot of cats in our compound here and there are those ppl who clean them, so two days ago I was talking a walk with my baby bro(he's turning 5 on January but to me i always call him my baby bro since he's the youngest
haha from the movie "13 Going on 30"
awww an early Merry Christmas to you too!
apologies for my late replies
take care!
Oo, I like cinnamon. The taste, the smell. All of it. Crema Catalana sounds good. The sea level (worldwide) is rising. Little by little. But you won't be alive to see any over the top disasters. Like if the world goes under or something. It is a scary thought though.
Whoa. Aren't you a little too young to be talking about what boys like and such? I keep forgetting that I'm talking to a 12 year old. But you.. are.. so smart. You remind me of my classmate from 5th grade. Her name was Mallory. She was blonde but she was not dumb. She was a genius. She could "pwn" anyone in my class. Ah.. the Philippines. Its the Pearl of the south pacific. Japan is just north of it. Japan.. Land of the rising sun. Though I think that title should go to New Zealand. The sun rises in New Zealand before Japan. If you look at me, I look more filipino than spanish. My skin is like a tannish color. Alot of my relatives have that light asian skin color (not really a color). And it sucks because I want to look more asian too! Also, girls love guys with fair skin. Gosh, it sucks to be me
.
The holidays over here are already starting. It will end on new years day.
I'd love to taste some Valencian dishes. I usually eat cereal or some [prison] related food. But I eat anything that smells good. I see that you want to live in a snowy area. I live in an area dominated by snow. I live up north. And now that the whole golbal warming thing is increasing, this place is getting colder since the arctic is getting smaller.
So you got a haircut. Good for you. I still think you have nice hair in your picture. Long terminal hair compliments girls. Hmm.. My dad is of Spanish blood. My mother is a filipina. We moved here when I was seven. It was hard to adapt to a new environment but I guess I gotten used to it. Well, take care with your health and choir.
I guess I know what you mean. Being half-blooded is not very exciting (my friends usually think that way
) as others think. You usually get torn in between, specially when the two
sides are in constant conflict with one another.
Nope! Here in the Philippines people don't play football and I guess their not fond of it either except for private schools of course. But even then, majority of private school student's here are Filipino-Something too in other words those who are fond of this game are those who are more exposed to European and western culture. But that still depends which part of west do you belong to! Philippines and Filipinos are very much influenced by Americans. Something that I'm very very against it. I love European culture and customs. They're more laid back, traditional and disciplined. Hopefully one day I'll have the chance to go there over seas. Right now the places that I want to visit first are Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong. Mostly because I love gadgets and computers + Animes!
Anyways my dad is Half Russian-Turkish and my mom Filipino with Spanish heritage. My genes are a little bit messed up I guess
The situation is not well in middle east although I love the region a lot.
That's why I came here. It was my mom's advice. But honestly, not all those
things that they say on news are true, I tell you. This morning while I was
preparing for school I heard on CNN some nonsenses about Iran's situation. It
pissed me off. They just like to exaggerate in reporting the news. That's why I
cannot believe in what they say anymore. Not only about middle-east but all
around the world. They just seem to be feeding people with whatever they
like.
I'm BIG fan of REAL-MADRID! HAHAHAHA...Yup! Coz all the coolest players are gathered there. REAL is the Hot Zone!
It's
very unfortunate that I cannot watch the games specially World Cup as I used to.
If I'm correct you must be the youngest child of three. I have a younger sister, she's one year younger than me. Now that you mentioned, I guess it's the best for you to listen to your siblings advice. And treasure your brother a lot. Brothers come really handy! I always wish that I had an elder brother to guide me through things. I've few guy friends that I can fully trust, but still they cannot replace a guy whose from the same flesh and blood. It's sometimes hard to be the eldest, cos you'll always feel the weight of responsibility on you shoulders whether others mention it or not. I guess that's innate within all elder siblings nature. They automatically feel like they have to protect they youngest. I get into nasty fights with my sister sometimes but I cannot bear to see any harm come to her even when I'm blind with madness.
You're special.
They
never tell you that because of their pride but inwardly you're very dear to
them. I think you think a lot about maturing mentally. That's a good sign
I
used to be that way. But believe me there's nothing special about the age that
I'm in now. Despite of my age, I still know that I don't know many things and it
scares me beyond words. Once I thought I'll know everything when I reach this
age, but right now I think I have a long way to reach my ideals.
Hey do you have friendster account by the way?
I know...Someone reported her I guess.. Anyway, We decorated a christmas tree yesterday. I can't wait until I get out of school for the vacation! How are yours?
Whats up? Its nice to meet you too. I like your family name. Mine is Rosales. Yeah it doesn't sound very Alaska-y but I'm not a native here. Oh food, I want some. Lol. Our holiday is only Christmas, so everything my family does this month is for that one. Its cold and white outside, as always.
Hey Helena, i'm so sorry for the late reply n all, I was busy with school and all projects and studies, so wasn't even able to drop by MT, other than that, i'll reply to your other post tomorrow, normally Wednesdays r my all-day free day
and until now I am not really in the mood for practice yet, I got a cold last
week so I wasn't even able to sing required the voice i normally have when i'm
fine
the problem is I am not even in the mood for practice anymore for some reason
but everyone would be disappointed if I would just leave like
that
I mean I am the second one in charge and the first important chosen person, i
wouldn't mind being in charge and teaching the rest how to sing and all, but
being the one singing...no mood, I already am responsible for other events...

My day was fine, haha you are not the only one with that stuff, we even have this stage event and i was chosen to sing
oh well, Good Luck for you! don't give up ya!
so when's your Christmas break?
our holidays start on the 12th of December, one more week left.
take care!
Where is your mother form, may I ask? Is she British?
I guess the guy that I used to correspond to belong to Barcelona. From what I knew he was a very zealous Catolonian. He usually talked about Spaniards wrong deeds and descrimination. Is it really true? He used to talk about their own customs, his favorite foods and places he used to travel. The last time that I heard from him, he was on a trip to Vietnam. Despite of his high blooded and defensive character, he was a really fun guy to talk with. A very open minded person that you could talk about anything. I guess the main reason that I got a long well with him was for his high respect for different nationalities and cultures.
Unfortunately, I think he's busy now. We lost our contact when I came here to the Philippines. Ever since I began to study everything in my life changed course. I don't really like it that much. I prefer to go back the way I used to be. So cherish every moment of your life now. I promise you once you grow up you're going to miss these days. And maybe think that you were much wiser and smarter when you were younger! That's how I feel today! I think despite of people aging, they tend to become more selfish and childish with their behavior.

As an IT student I give a piece of advice, it's better not to fill and decorate your page with many pictures, songs, videos and animated objects. It'll be distracting and some how makes your page look too over accessorized. Keep it simple and sophisticated. Something that show part of you and who you are. Once you begin to learn you'll understand that colors, designs and presentations represent peoples ideas and personalities a lot.
Hey whats good with your side of planet earth?
Interesting page. Never heard of many of the things you find fancy. Only some.
Anyways, I'm Wil. And thanks for the name.
I hate it. Well. I'm about to roll up outta here. See you later.
Yeah that's true, there are Filipinos here who still have Spanish blood. One of them it's me
My
grand mother is Spanish-Filipino.
I'm
not familiar with Filipino Language (Tagalog) much, coz I came here three years
ago for my studies. Filipinos do use some Spanish words in their native
language. Such as days of the week, numbers, months, and some words that they
occasionally use in their conversation.
My mother is a Filipino so that's why I decided to study here. My other half is Russian-Turkish but I grew up in middle east.
I also like Volleyball but not until I took its class few semesters ago. Never thought it can be so interesting. I love swimming too
I
love floating in water...Just like a fish
.
Hey how are you emilia u from spain right i want to See Spain maybe sometime in future i will decide to go to Spain. my cousin he is mad about spain dont know why he learned Spanish too but havent been there yet.where in spain are you?
