T_T wah auralis!!!!! you think it looks bad =[ theres advice overload now! it seemed you thought everything looks wrong but really the tower was hard to extract. the clouds behind the tower was the main detailing of the clouds, so thats why you probably thought is looked messy. since it was morning, the colors couldnt have been that extreme unless the sun was just at the horizon, and i conveyed it already risen above the horizon. its quite difficult to apply a warm orange color to everything if it didnt match the current scene.
the leaves were a brush! lol i couldnt think of anything other than to contrast it against the sky as a darker color. i also made the text VERY small so it didnt show up too much. i needed the whole thing to stay on a bg of a solid color and the tower was the only thing that could have supported it. since it was the TITLE of the wall, it should have had some focus, right?
about the hill...i dont really remember putting a hill. the left side contains a row of hedges and tree branches behind it.

well i hope that can explain all of your problems with the wall...^^' i tried =P

wah its only my first vector! such high expectations XP well im glad you have great advice =D actually the tutorial i used didnt have a part about outlining ^^' so didnt know how to do that. sorry it couldnt dl though pmed the new server person but nothing helped.
