Good Evening Nucleous. I am Xpilot2006, also Sword-Shana-lily Group's Mod. I am
responsible for going around and checking out the status on our current members.
I am just checking to see how active (or how long since you were last online)
and determining who is to remain in the group. Think of it as an inspection, but
it is just to clean out the members section of people that currently aren't
active for 12+ weeks, banned, or restricted. You should stop by the new updated
group's page that is completely redone. We are gaining more members and becoming
much more active then before! So stop by sometime, even if it is just to say
hello.
I would like to inform you that
has been revived...I've already announced this but I'll make sure I'll drop by
and tell every memberas well since I'll be needing a little help. Opinions and
suggestions are very welcome.

Your right, I can only run Doom III on Medium 800x600 to keep it smootish!

Half-Life2 runs better than Doom for some odd reason most other not all machines
I have seen Doom runs better than Half-Life2 but still no full all medium

On (new) nVidia cards, Doom3 should normally run better than HL2. But HL2
switches back to DX8 mode when using a Geforce FX. If Doom3 doesn't do this (I'm
not sure about this) and keeps using the DX9 mode it could explain the
speedboost HL2 is getting.

To be blunt, I don't believe you. There's absolutely no way a fx5500 can handle
Doom 3 at those settings unless you think 5 frames per second is smooth or
you're playing at 800x600 or lower and with medium details. I don't blame you
for wanting to make your card sound good but really, it's in my girlfriend's rig
and it's truly a pos.

Resizing a scan & adding text to it does not make it into a wallpaper. Please do not submit cleaned up scans as wallpapers.
