Btw where do you edit your html codes, notepad or are you using a software like
Microsoft Visual Studio and the likes....
At the moment I use MS expression web but it doesnt seem to work the way i'd
like it to. now that I look at the code the charset is indicated as utf-8.
I just copied the japanese text to my page. but i think it would work better if

It's up to you really what format you prefer to use, whether unicode or ASCII.
Our html pages itself is not that 'flexible' actually (notice that there are
different output displays in each different browsers) so for now you don't have
to worry things like that...
except if you are a perfectionist and truly concerned with these little things,
that would be an another issue .

I added a new page to the anime section.
But it works dirrerently in IE and Firefox. At first I had trouble with font
size but I solved it. Now there's a problem with encoding. It is supposed to be
utf-8 but firefox doesnt autodetect it while it is ok with ie. Well i dont think
it is specifically about my site but still

seems to have a problem in it. Sorry for the inconvenience. As for the utf-8,
stick with your previous utf, i think you use utf decimal for the japanese text.
Or try to recheck your code for errors, save it as UTF encode or ANSI. If any of
these still didn't worked, just copy and paste the original japanese text as is.
If you encounter any more problems, I'll try to help you.

That's great then there won't be a problem. It is fine to send you the codes in
MS notepad. About your code, your contents is what I actually needed. Yeah I
guess I needed to tell you this now, I'm not assuring you that your page will
load up fast, after all it is all dependent on the free hosting servers and the
viewer's internet connection, not to forget the file size of the images. Nothing
can be done 'bout it, sad to say. Contents (the texts/paragraphs) won't be
affected though, surely that will be loaded first.
I'm gonna start working on it now...

well the thing is that im not a specialist at making layouts. also the free
hosting i use works slowly occasionally.
basically i made a number of .htm pages with hyperlinks at my pc and uploaded
them along with files via FTP.
same thing for the background. i dont want it to be very simplistic but as a
file it considerably slows down my site.
i actually use <BACKGROUND filename> command.

find it, you just have to make the pic not as your whole background but a header
or something like that as long as you make sure to keep it in smaller file sizes
(below 20kb is good, 100kb at most). You may or may not need to use frames..
