Merry Christmas, Anj! ^^
It's a good thing I have some reprieve for the holidays from hospital duty. Haha...almost didn't feel like it was Christmas, y'know, working hard and all.
Anyways, best holiday wishes again, buddy! ^^

Quote by AnjhurinI definitely love the perspective here. The ground texture is pretty nice too, it has the grainy touch one would expect. I like the light effects in the sky too, especially the clearer part near the top, though i don't understand why your sky gets clearer near the ground.
The colors are really nice.

Thumbs up and fav :D

is clear near to background for the heat that reflects the concrete.
merci pour le favori.

Quote by AnjhurinHum, the color is really soft and nice, and the stance is cool. Your shading is a bit rough, but otherwise it's okay. Though as acid said, it's true that your character looks 'surprised' in a way, not really fitting the mood :).

Thumbs up :D

this is realy a laaate reply!(-_-)soooo sry.Alot of things realy hapened on me at the past few months like moving house and exams...........Thank you for commenting my drawing, thanks for your support.i will upload my new drawings(i drew them at the pst few month) soon.Do come by and veiw ok? thanks

Quote by AnjhurinOh... Is your sig img (the one you made for the MT maigetsu) extendable into a banner ? It could look good too :)

Anyway, i hope there'll be lots more entries, so come on minna-san !

You know, I was thinking of that too... maybe when I get some time this weekend I'll try to make one ^^

Quote by AnjhurinHey there Danielly ^_^

To answer your question, i'm from the south of france, someplace called Nimes (it's like, a little above the Mediterranean sea)... ahah, but why are you interested in that ? You've been in france before ?

Anyway, keep on submitting your art, i like it a lot ;)

Quote by AnjhurinThat's some huge house he seems to have... must be loaded :). Anyway, i love the little details everywhere (the snowmen are so cool), and the shading is well done.
I'm not too sure about the girl being somewhat in chibbi form when the guys are more in 'normal' form. Anyway, it's quite funny, and i definitely looove the paper you use ;).

Thumbs up :D

i love the paper too XD
thanks so much for the comment ^^
she's not in chibi form she's just a kid ^^
and thanks for noticing my snowmen you were the only one that had talked about them ^.~
really thanks

Hey there, thanks a lot for the comment :)

Quote by AnjhurinAwesome coloring and shading skills... fantastic sunset wallpaper, it has a really warm touch to it. Thumbs high up and fav :D

PS i love your way of paiting with small strokes, almost like pointillism ^_^

^^ Thanks for the comment and fav! I never thought of it as pointillism, though. xD That's cool, but I don't have enough patience for real pointillism. (until I actually go do it and find out that I do. Dx)

Quote by AnjhurinHaven't played the game, so i guess i can't fully comprehend the drawing / poem. I like the weird perspective of the piece, it's completely messed up, it seems like the girl is actually under the earth or something.
The painting job is not so good, but that's the concept of speedpaint i guess. Interesting concept anyway ;). Oh, and the colors aren't so cheerful are they !

Thanks for the comment. ^^

1. Wander's a guy. xD
2. He is under the earth. The strategy is to crawl into the tunnels and ambush the Colossus from behind while he's searching for you.
3. Yeah, I was actually wanting to finish under one hour, but had to spend more time on it so it wasn't complete crap. xD I like the incomplete looks of speedpaints, though.

Hi!

Haha, I'm far from being a master! I actually forgot a lot of japanese while I was home for 2 months and didn't study. And the japanese is pretty difficult right now. I always through it would be difficult but not this difficult. I just don't know what do use all the different things we learn. Oh well, i hope i get some use for it...
I'll try to remember about mt, but it's not as easy when I'm not drawing anymore. If you wanna see some pics from tokyo you can visit my blog, have quite a few pics uploaded there! Here's the adress: http://tokyo-ninja.blogspot.com/

haha, I'm not tall. I'm average height. But I am blonde. Although a lot of swedish people are not blonde and blue-eyed. But of course they exist. since it's tokyo people are not that interested in foreigners, they are so used to them already. A little sad but maybe good too. I guess I'd get tired from all the attention if I were in a small town.
Whaaat, you were in stockholm?! How did you like it? Where did you end up sleeping, if the hostels were full?
I think you've actually been to more places in sweden than i have! Or at least it feels like it. I don't travel around a lot when i'm home.

With that busy schedule of yours i hope you get some time to relax as well. The body needs some rest too! ;P

matane!

Quote by anjHey there ^_^

Well since you said you wouldn't be on MT so much, i guess writing in your blog is better !

Anyway, it seems i have some reading to do to catch up with all your japanese adventures :)

About my stay in Stockholm... well we ended up sleeping in a youth hostel situated in a school building... and in the gymnasium mark you, on smelling tatamis... that was for the first night, but the second night we managed to get the dormitory ^_^ (which was just a classroom with matresses scattered about... but still matresses !)

Oops, long comment... well then, take care and enjoy your stay :)

anj

Mmm, smelling tatamis, that sound lovely! Kinda suprised they have youth hostels in school buildnings though! But I dont really have to think about youth hostels and such places in Sweden since I already have a house there...

Have you got any blog yourself? It's interesting to read about other's daily life. If they write well and do interesting things, that is... But I could imagine yours would be interesting with med school and all... Makes me think of Scrubs! I love that show!

Bonjour monsieur, thanks for your fav and your comment in my doujinshi, i really appreciate it lol. Alors qu' est-ce tu deviens l'ami, ca fait un bail vu que t'est plus sur le group doujinshi?

Quote by AnjhurinYour shading is awesome, especially the slight touch of 'make-up' around the eyes and on the cheeks. Great line work too, and awesome detail on the clothes / hair / jewelry. Maybe the jewelry is too 'dull', meaning that some light effect would have looked good on the gems, though i don't know how you could have managed that.

Thumbs up and fav :D

PS did you use some kind of model for the haircut and jewels ? If not, you've got some wild imagination ;)

Hi there, thank you for the comments on my pics, and the fav also. I agree with you that the gems are dull :P I dont know how to make it look better though >"< ANd I dont use any model ;) That's my favourite way of haircut and jewels, especially for the hair. But I dont do like that to my hair anyway :D THank you and have a good day. Bye :pacman:

Hi Anj!

God, it's been ages since i've been online at mt! How have you been? Read that you had your bday not long ago! Happy birthday! Hope you recieved some nice gifts!

So i ended up doing something good with my money! I went to Japan to study japanese for 3 months! Back in sweden right now but i'm going back in about a week. Feeling a bit stressed with preparing and packing! Don't know how cold it will get in Tokyo in the winter!

anyway, i hope you're good!
atthebronze ;)

r q g

ei thanks for that great comment! i never thought that someone would really notice me here, thanks and i hope you'll like my colored version hehe thanks again!

r q g

Yea dude, U re rite. Now i realize the mistake that u said, THX ya ^^ and I feel very grateful for ur comment THX dude

r q g

Hey Anj, what happened at Doujinshi Support Club?! I'm no longer a member of the club... And some (like ephemeral-garden) are moved to the members, when I thought all members were supposed to be admins...

r q g

hey.

how are ya?

just got back. been gone for two years.

what happened to order-of-reason?

can you give me updates? LOL, everything's new to me again...

yeah, hee-hee.

i'm a bit confsued around this place already, and not too keen on it either. haven't noticed anyone familiar. what happened here?!

Quote by AnjhurinThat's some nice commercial for Pepsi ^_^'... not sure if the kids are going to buy it anymore (*one win for annakee in the name of healthy diet* !).
Really nice work, as the highlighting comment said, the light is awesome, it really has this "fairy-tale" feeling to it. I'm not really sure about the hand, it seems more like a helping hand reaching out that a bad hand...

Anyway, thumbs up and fav :D

Merci beaucoup pour tes commentaires, Monsieur Anjhurin! im very glad with the fact that u liked the healthy campaign XD
the fact is... that was pretty random ^^' would be a sprite cap or maybe a coke cap; and that was located on that place because the hand is making shadow over the cap, the demons can be placed everywhere.
and that hand is an evil hand, not more, no less!
have a great day, Anj-san!

Quote by AnjhurinOne question : is that a male or a female ?... the character somehow has an androgynous face, even though my "male instinct" (lol) tells me it's a 'she' ^_^'.
Anyway, i'm not even sure whether the foliage was necessary, given the awesome work you've done with the character and other elements of the work. There is a real 'life' emanating from this work, like you could enter it anytime.

Thumbs up :D

Quote by AnjhurinHey there !

Thanks for the GB post, and well, for adding me to your list (btw, which one was it already, so i can add you back in the similar list ^_^'). I really liked that wall, but i guess my bro did even more, cause it was on the PC screen for quite a long time (and everytime i changed it, it came back !).

Anyway, oopsie, j'ai tout ecrit en anglais, ca c'est pas bien (la force de l'habitude j'imagine). Desole pour ca, mais bon apparement tu te debrouilles bien aussi en anglais ;).
Bon ben c'est tout, take care then !

anj :D

:nya: XD

Quote by Anjhurin... This is splendid ! The girl reminds me of Tima from Rintaro's Metropolis (there's this moment when she looks up and she has that ray of light upon her face, and some wind in her hair... almost similar !), she has such a great expression, and she is really detailed.
I really give my congratulations on making this work, the inking is awesome (i particularly love the shading on the bg pipes).
Maybe the perspective isn't that deep though, but otherwise it's definitely one of the best MT piece as of late ;).

Thumbs up and fav :D

PS oh, and maybe the 'wheels' on the bottom left corner... they don't have enough thickness (like they're really flat !)

hello ! came to thank you for your nice comment on my latest drawing ~ happy to hear you like it ^_^ i don't know metropolis, but i guess i have to find out since you woke my curiosity to see if the character you mentioned reminds the girl in my drawing. i'm not really good at making backgrounds but i'm practising and trying to get better, so thank you for your support ! and about the wheels, i wasn't really sure how i should have done the shadings in them but thank you for pointing that out ~ i try to make better next time :D
also thank you for the fav ~ really appreciate it !

have a nice day !

Quote by AnjhurinI like how this was put in the elite gallery, yet not commented on :). Anyway, i think that's quite some different style, it somehow reminds me of some sculpture we have that represents the goddess of victory (though colored !). There's really an aura about the drawing, and you've colored it well, even though the style in itself doesn't really fit my taste (or maybe it's just the lack of face that's throwing me off ^_^').

Anyway, quite an original work, so thumbs up :D

Yeah, that was a little frustrating. I'm glad you noticed, though, and were kind enough to comment. :D

Thank you! I think the lack of features on the face has thrown a lot of people off, but ah well. lol. The color was the main point, and I'm glad it turned out as well as it did. :D

Thank you again for commenting. :)

Quote by AnjhurinHoly cow... i'd never thought i'd see a doujin with 2+ pages of comments almost 100 favs... ahah, me commenting seems useless now, but i'll still give my two cents (and add a fav as well ^_^').
Hum... but now that i actually look at the piece... i can't find anything to say. It's really powerful, displaying a huge amount of skill and details.

Perfect art ! I put that one in my "uberfav" category, that was created just now...

Haha I'm surprised myself, things like highlights are new to me ^^. Anyway comments are all but useless, I actually value them even more than favs. So thanks a lot!
Ou merci beaucoup si tu preferes :P

Thanks for the comment on my work, Bloody Love. Really appreciate it, will try to work on my drawing skills. *Domo Arigatou* =) See you around!
