Quote by MapleRoseWow it's beautiful! I
lvoe the colour choices, fits well with her expression. And wonderful vectoring
job, I love the subtle shading on her skin. The pattern in teh background is a
nice subtle touch as well. I prefer the non-textured version, 'cause it feels
fresher and cleaner ^__^
nice work!
hello MapleRose-san!
thanks so much for the comment and fav! I appreciate it!
I too like the non-textured version better. it looks cleaner
well, I'm glad u like it!
have a nice day! ^^
Too expensive. I actually never told my parents I do digital art so it'll be
like, what do you need a tablet for? Me: uh... It's a rather awkward
situation... >> I'm weird.
Quote by MapleRosefor outlining, er, it
takes some patience to do it right, but I find that if you start with a large
resolution, then resize small, it looks better.
I like her hair, and expression/pose. though the wall looks a bit empty/light,
maybe adding some light colour would be better?
For some reason I never thought of that. Thank you. xDD
Quote by MapleRosenice vector, I like
the depth in the shading of her eyes ^^
btw, would you like to join ?
Thank you for inviting me to your club :] I'm new here and I don't really know
much about that site yet [nor about what being a member of the club means] so
first I'd like to learn about the account options and rules here. But as soon as
I make myself more at home, I'll write to you ^^
Quote by MapleRoseyou know this looks
somwhat different than your usual style, in terms of vectoring and colour O__o
But the pose does remind me of this other wall you made so
I thought this might be yours, but then I thought somebody might be deliberately
copying your style >.>
woah for pastel colours, reminds me of toothpaste for some reason
I wish I could fly, will you tell us your secrets of flight?
I knew that that freaking pose was gonna screw me up, oddly the last time I also
knew what it was gonna reveal me and however didnt do anything about it, it's
just a chemical disorder or something....you in any case........had the fun of
the time ...i supposed, tricking everybody
and no...probably I wouldnt tell you...since I have a lot of trouble knowing it
myself
Quote by sailorchironWow, this is
beautiful MapleRose. I have really enjoyed all the anime advertisements that
came out of the last round of w?w, and this WOULD be a great sunscreen ad. ^_^
Nice job on the vectoring then painting, it's really
beautiful.
Thank you ^__^
yeah I love some of those advertisements, and it's actually a fun theme to work
with. I hope you can join w?w next round...
thank you for the fave
That would be cool! Which forum is it in?
PS: Thanks for commenting on my new wall! I appreciate your feedback, you're so
talented.
Um, for the GSA contest, I thought there was gonna be a popular vote as well? We
didn't even get to vote, and the "voting is done"?
O__o
Oh! well since we didn't have enough members writing
I thought we could skip this feature, but I can add if you want me
too. I don't mind, I kinda forgot it actually
Quote by MapleRosenice vector, I like
the patterns in the background. the only complain I have is that the blue
gradient looks too sudden, I think it can be better blended into the black (ie
have a more gradual gradient)
Oh, really? oo; Thanks for saying that. I didn't see it ^^; Will fix it
soon.
Quote by kawaii-chickenDon't we
all LOVE kunie? :3
Simple, funky, and retro! Awesome, just awesome
lol, yes, yes we do. I did 3 Kunie walls for w?w >__>
thanks!
btw, weren't you gonna participate in w?w this round?
your welcome, and lol, yes I was, but time consumed me, plus
if I where to participate, I would of sticked out, my style is so weird...
so I think peeps would know it's me @_@

Yeah... 'cause painting-vector-ness is much easier and faster. I guess I'm not
against doing it, if it's like in a wallpaper or something. Just don't call it a
'vector' 'cause it's not, it's been rasterized if you use brushes. Or if they
had to do soft shading, use gradient meshes. I dunno, one of my idiosyncrasies
>__>
Yeah, I'm not against it as well, since painting needs vector technique most of
times, like giving outline etc. And like you said, if it involves rasrter
techniques like brushing, it is simply not we can call
"vector".
Quote by MapleRosehave I told you how
much I hate merging...
Nope
I think MT should nuke this system, cause I do hate it.
Quote by MapleRosecould you put this in
your vexel gallery?
Sorry for the late reply. Okay, I've just
put it. Anyway, thanx for the support, although not many familiar with vexel,
and want to support it. (They still like the painting-vector-ness)
Quote by MapleRoseyeah I tried
something different with this one, making it so bright and patterny. I was
hoping nobody would guess it, but gaara is evil..
*evil grin* yes I was the busy bee... who did you think it
was?
LOL we all evil >x]
piccolobear for an unknown reason xD
Quote by MapleRosethe only one of yours
that I guessed right...
WOW... you're crazy to vector it from that! the details.. *-* how long did it
take you? And I'm glad you made it with a true vector and not succumb to brushes
and gradients.
I like the empty space, gives room for icons ^__^ and did you paint those clouds
in the background? 'cause I don't remember them being there
before.
Aww, all that time on it and you guessed it...
I took me over a week to do it, working at night when I couldn't sleep. [That's
my true secret weapon - I'm an insomniac! ] And
yeah, I painted the clouds in just before I submitted it, though they would have
been better if I'd taken the time to really plan and vector them.
Quote by MapleRoseI absolutely love
this when I saw it, love the humour, poor Edo (I know
how he feels though, 'cause I'm tiny myself)
Oh another shortie? I know the feeling!
I come from a family of midgets, and amongst them I'm the tallest, which makes
forget how short I am till I go out into the real world and am reminded all over
again.
Ah, now I feel bad about doing that to Ed again....
Quote by MapleRoseI really like the
soft lighting effects in the background, and the colour combinations you've used
in painting the girl and the background Nice
work ^^
thanks u so much! comming from the paint-master, is a double honor for me
