Hahax.. Thanks for the comments and suggestions, I do apperciate them. .. actual drawing time is only about half an hour or so..
the rest is spent on scaning and cleaning up..
anyway, I'm pretty sastified with this one as, so far the only one that I have done in a single sitting, the rest were like drawn over a period a few days..

*tries* Well, yeah, if you held it for a while. But I think this is just a moment in time, so that's alright. She looks energetic enough to not stay in that position for long.

Again, though, I'll try to keep an eye out for uncomfortable positions in the future.

thats what i said when I didn't do them in proportion either but I know myself that it was just another lame excuse to make my drawing look not so bad but is that how you really think of it? Just another anime drawing.

if it doesn't contribute to make it look grotesquely disproportioned.. then it was done in a tasteful way.

I thought it looked like the green things that suck your life away from the Metroid games. (doesn't really play that series ) Squid I see, too, but no person. Abstract art is so cool because they can be anything! =D

Heyaz! I love abstract too but I never find a way to start them. An pointers?

Well, in the image program of your choice, paint random colors, use the smudge or equivalent, continue to mess around smearing colors around, zoom out and see what the picture looks like, add some details to make it look like whatever you think it looks like.

Another way I do abstract art is to start with a dot and draw random things spiraling around it.
