Drawing humans IS fun, since it's more challenging that drawing bunnies :P So
far the only poses I am most familiar with are standing with hands in pocket...

Haha. well when I started drawing the guy I just wanted a guy with messy hair
cause usually people's hair get messy after sleeping, but when I finished I was
like "ha... this looks kinda like me O_o..." so I thought it was
pretty ironic since I was the one who made the poem up, and I wasn't even
thinking of drawing myself, but I just thought whatever, I'll just keep it as he
is :P

hehe, that's why you draw contortionists. It really forces you to learn human
anatomy and perspectives and stuff since you draw things at really weird but not
impossible angles. I still have trouble with action poses too, especially
fighting ones... Hands in pockets is my always favorite, though, because it's
standing, and no need to draw hands either! xD and always conveniently run out
of paper right above the knees so no need to draw feet! lol.
Oh, you wrote the poem? It's a very good poem. ^^ I really like it, and was
wondering who the author was.
Bah, good art is good art, and it doesn't matter what the mass opinion is
really. Because art comes from the SOUL! And in the words of Stephen King
(paraphrased), the reason we do this stuff is to make others happy. If you've
made someone happy, then you've done your job as an artist.

Yeah... drawing the body was more difficult than it looks cause this head... the
position just felt weird... I didn't even have the slightest idea of how
difficult drawing a body would be when I decided to take part in the
competition.

I guess the problem you have here is the shoulders - it looks more like looking
in front rather than above and the Atsuma's left foot should be bigger than his
left cause of the perspective and the fence seem to be further away from him,
but I'm no expert on perspectives so... yeah :P

tomorrow. And I'm in 10th grade now. I have to study very hard from now onwards.
I've got my board exams this year which are like I think SAT exams. I've got to
get really good percentage. I'm gonna get a lot of homework this week .
