It was quite difficult to draw a body that matches the head, cause the head has
such a special look... but it felt nice once i finally had a body that I felt

The vector is done smoothly. The darker colors seems to give off some impact to
the vector. There are some jagged lines I spotted in the necklace part and in
the mouth, but that's hardly noticable anyway. Great job.
lol! I know what you mean by the necklace. I mean I was seriously just
struggling to outline it. As for the
mouth it's suppose to be that way. Sometimes jaggy lines are necessary since
they can't be avoided 100% percent. D:

I remember trying to make a tutorial on vectoring at least the basics of it.
I'm
not very sure how can I help, but what I can tell you is I make my scan like
doubled the image of when it orignally was then often I zoom into 300% or 400%
then start outlining. Though often I always abuse the back button so much.
Another thing some taught me is when you hold your anchor point as you are
moving it "hold crtl" and just use your keyboad that has those up,
down, left, and right to move the lines wherever you want almost like a
transform tool.
I'm not sure, but I think your outlines have improved so much that I think
they're better than mine when I last checked. Though I'm
so pesstimistic of myself so that's why I think of that.
lol! My sis has been obsessing a little with the GX Season 3 since she;s trying
to build a Crystal Beast deckand the season plot is kind of about crystal
beasts.
I've been watching the episode with her too and some from the older seasons.
I think I forgot to menton that my lil sister's B-day is the same as yours, but
she was born on 1994 and I consider her as a Piecse. I think I

Yup, Lacus does look nice with red though at the same time reminds me of
something that the colour Meer would wear. I really
like those light green colours on her, but something different would be a nice

It's alright! You just need some help I believe. I Gave up
like that too when I first came to MT (minitokyo). Though I didn't know the ones
I had were ripped because someone putted on their userpage. One of mine was
deleted even if I made it, but it's because I really sucked and you can tell if
you've seen my otaku wallpapers from the past.
I didn't even know the definition of quality wallpapers and especially I didn't
even know how to make wallpaper so I kept ripping which I regret. Until for
one year I noticed better improvement since I didn't rip anymore, but vectoring
made it even way better so one year later my works look now decent today.
Interesting, I can't draw at all. So that mean
I'm not talented too. =) I'm surprised you didn't even take artwork too because
my older sis doesn't too, but she draws pretty nice. You can see her drawings here.

hmm...I might be okay without snapshots. I just cant figure out how to move my
vector points around. Like, I know how to make the arcs and stuff, but if I want
to move the point right or left and I hold ctrl like I do in photoshop, it
free-transforms the whole path. i also get this bounding box or whatever its
called, and i get this black outlined box around my image, and when i try to
open it in photoshop, it crops my image. T____T

Talents comes to you when you've started to just becaome obsessed of a hobby and
literally just non-stop of doing what you like. I've only
started vectoring since 14 I was struggling so much. Though now
I've realize it's quite simple. All it takes is using techniques in photoshop by
combining pen tool, eraser tool, and color dodge. It's quite amazing I just keep
repeating this step over and over for Carnelian's scan and this is my result.
Well this is what I do so hope this help Scampi.
I fall asleep on vectors when the scan is so detailed like Carnelian's artworks.
Sometimes I feel bored or I just don't have enough sleep too.
Yeah, Just wondering in Pokemon Pearl what level are you? At least so far the

Yeah, patience is a must when your vectoring something very complex and detail.
You also need to practice too. Interesting technique you use, I'll keep that in
mind when if I'll ever work on my second vector. I did my first vector but its
really simple and I need to fix some mistakes on it. I'm still a noob.
I also kept falling asleep on my first vector too.
I just recently started playing Diamond, and my highest is lvl.12, its no where
near your level. Your pokemon will definitely knock mine with one hit. But
yeah, it would be cool to battle with each other until I lvl up enough to. What
starter pokemon did you pick? I picked that green turtle one, forgot the
name.

as for the one I'm working something went terribly wrong. When I saved from the
Illustrator it turned out as about 500x500 when originally I resized it to like
4000x4000. I have a bad feeling I'll have to restart the whole outlines all
over again if I the Illustrator doesn't allow resizing and I was almost done
with this.

I just recently started playing Diamond, and my highest is lvl.12, its no where near your level. Your pokemon will definitely knock mine with one hit.

But yeah your pretty good at vectoring at that age and it was unbelievable that you did it so perfect and made it look just almost like the Carnelian scan. Its like you were born with that talent and I'm looking forward to more of your vectors. I'll add you to my watchlist if you don't mind. ^_^
Heheh, Scampi also told me that she too keeps falling asleep in her vectors. It is somewhat boring making lines and after doing them a while you get soo bored enough to fall asleep.
