Lol, I know about Akira. I used to have a haircut exactly like his. But now I
cut my hair short, it suits my face the best. And I'd really wish Hikaru no Go
would turn into a yaoi anime. I mean, c'mon! Shindou and Akira are obsessed with each other! They always want to
improve for one another, all the things they do are for them. It's almost
annoying that they're not gonna be a couple But
no, everything is for Go! Yeah right, they're in love and they know it! Did you
ever saw Akira or Shindou with a girl? There's Akari but Shindou doesn't care
about her, he's too busy improving for Akira Me wants
yaoi!
Quote by FrankyFengI saw the original

Sorry for disturbing, now I am here for some tips of vectoring
Just a few days ago I submitted the first vector job I have made and norine07
advised that I should ask you for help, because you are very good at
vectoring?Could you give me some advice of making a vector better ?I find it
really difficult ,it takes a lot of time but the result turn out poor....
I can only make the outlines of the same width, could you tell me how to make the
outlines of its proper width?
Thanks here!

lol, lots of people asking me tips...let's see if I can't help you. ^^
First of, your lines are perfect. But it's your color that's ruining you. As
norine had said, Lacus and Meer's hair color are incorrect, I believe you should
try darkening a bit. For some help, look up some screenshots of the series and
do it that way. Most of the series' scans are discolored so usually I use
screenshots the most to get the right color as they're supposed to be.
The eye are also not perfect. With Gundam SEED's eyes, I do the black outline of
the eye first, then the iris and the highlight. Sometimes you need to start from
a base.
A base is the first color you
choose, or neutral from the other dark or light colors you see. If skin is in
normal light, then this is a base.
A shading is a darker version of
the skin, usually when the skin is covered by a sleeve or edges on the face. You
mostly see this in anime under necks, under lips, and some even over the eyes.
A highlight is the lighter color
of the base. You see this much in anime hair, lips, or in sunlight.
Finally, although not seen in all anime scans, is the darker shading. It's darker than the
shading and usually is placed under shading, like the neck, in hand palms, and
also over the eyes.
When beginning to vector, immediately make two folders: one for the outlines and
another for the color. Make another layer under the two folders to place your
lines under so you can see them clearly: fill the layer with white and make sure
to lock to prevent vectoring on the canvas.
Categorize your colors by Hair, Skin, Eyes, etc starting from the hair and to
the bottom of the shoes, if applicable. Just make sure to start from the top and
work your way down. Make sub-folders in case there is multiple color areas (like
a backpack with lots of key chains or anything having more than two color
bases.)
Make at least two layers for the Outline folder. Vector on one layer and when a
line will intercept inside a white space within an outline, vector the
intercepting line on the other layer and then erase the line from the white
space. This makes vectoring much easier.
Makes my information a lot harder to vector, isn't it? ^^ This is my method and
I feel the most comfortable with it. There are easier vector tutorials to
follow; my information is for novice vectorers.
