sharing your Asucaga artwork. I like how you colored them, added their haumea
stone and the ring, designed their clothes as well as both Athrun and Cagalli
looked very cute in your pic. One more, the stuffy penguin that Cagalli was
carrying looks adoring...
As for Gundam Seed Destiny The Edge, they have not yet released the English
version in USA except Taiwan and Europe. I believed some people had bought the
Japanese ones and began their English translation in their fanclub. I did some
translation for the Edge in the past but I ended up tearing up my Gundam Ace
magazine just for scanning. I have some
Gundam Ace magazines and the complete set of GSD Edge mangas but I don't want to
damage them anymore due to scanning. Whenever I have time, I'm planning to do
the English translation without doing much scanning (assuming people have the
Japanese version) in slow pace.
Whoops, I forgot to mention what's in the GSD The Edge. It's the GSD manga
version, (sponsored by Sunrise), concentrating on Athrun's POV. Yes, the GSD
Edge manga is Asucaga centric.
1) All those scenes such as (Cagalli asking Meyrin to take care of Athrun, 4
people shopping scene, memorial scene, and Final Plus walking scene) were not in
the GSD the Edge manga.
They also changed some scenes for Asucaga:
1) In ep36, instead of Athrun alone, he and Meer both escaped to Meyrin's room.
Those TV scenes about Meyrin's taking off her clothes in front of Athrun as well
as her grabbing Athrun's leg were not in the Edge manga.
2) In the Crete war, Athrun took a glimpse at Cagalli before his Savior was
finished off by Kira's Freedom.
3) In ep45, Cagalli told Athrun and Kira directly that she was counting on them
although she could not go with them due to her duty of Orb. After hearing her,
Athrun immediately had a flashback of the past where he carressed her hair after
she cried and lied down the bed in episode 5. Then, Athrun replied
"yes" to Cagalli.
4) In ep45, Athrun suddenly pulled Cagalli over to give her passionate hug while
Cagalli tried to give him regular hand-shake as how she did with Lacus and
others.
5) It has more details and lines between him and Cagalli when he noticed her
risking life at front-end to battle against Shinn's Destiny to protect her Orb.
6) The manga shows no sign or pic about him thinking of Meyrin at all.
7) Before meeting with Meer in a free city, Lacus was accompanied by Kira,
injured Athrun and 3 Dom Troopers (no Meyrin at all).
8) I forgot to mention this scene. In Volume 2, after Meyrin introduced herself
to Athrun and guided him to his room, Athrun gave her short reply and
immediately closed the door to leave her standing outside his door alone. Athrun
then threw his briefcase and sat on his bed and began his thinking and concern
about Cagalli, her wedding, and the news about her being kidnapped by
Freedom.
9) In episode 39, they extended the conversation between Athrun and Cagalli in
the infirmary - about 6 full pages. ^^ To be brief, through their conversation,
they understood each other. Cagalli updated Athrun with the current condition of
Orb which was being messed up by Seirans and her intention to return back to
take care of Orb. She also sadly apologized to Athrun about her not telling him
her wedding with Yuuna. Athrun reassured her with smile "You did that to protect Orb, didn't you? So, don't feel
sad". At the end of their LONG conversation, Cagalli comforted him
and asked Athrun "You better rest now.
Please don't blame yourself too much, ok? I am really happy to see you alive and
be able to talk to me like this again."
More, according to Chimaki Kuori's (the writer/artist for GSD The Edge)
"Postscript" section at the end of GSD The Edge Final volume (Volume
5) in 9/2006, her GSD The Edge manga was indeed reviewed and supported by
Director Fukuda, Morosawa and Sunrise responsible staff.

and this Eidolon Sniper user doesn't seem to know what he/she is talking
about..he/she isn't explaining these "actual hints" in the series that
proves that there is an Athrun and Meyrin (I certainly saw no hints..at least,
from my perspective)..though it is possible, but highly unlikely for these two
to be together. I'd prefer AthrunxCagalli than that pairing..
