You are right, it is general.
I found that here there are many people who might understand specific terms or have any musical background except listening to songs.
Or are interested in threads with a quick or 2 choice answers. If you notice, I even put the 2 choices in bold so it is obvious to see.
It is sometimes sad that even with a simplified question that many individuals still just say their answer...and no reason behind it.
Before I wrote the thread, I looked up technical musical terms and thought about different ways to phrase it. However after thinking about it, I came up with a decision based upon the above reasons.
I took courses in music and the arts in my concentration along with my BA in teaching, so I understand your concern for the pereservation of the arts.
