I am simply taking note of a few style choices that the artists chose to portray. Perhaps you interpreted them differently. Hm.. I didn't mean to imply that Mizuho is absolutely in love with Takako... it's more like I wanted to say that he isn't necessarily in love with Maria... he cherishes both... if he loves Maria or Takako or neither one is left up to the viewer to decide... but there is no definite answer imho...
So, of course, your point of view (Mizuho loves Maria) is absolutely valid... I just wanted to present another point of view (Mizuho cherishes both equally.. or is in love with Takako - my reason for thinking that is just because I got the vibe this relationship would be more natural... it felt more "real"... )

Hi Hasaki! I'm doing pretty good. I just got moved into my new apartment this past Sunday, and we literally just got the internet installed about a half hour ago. We have cable now! No more dial up! Me? In a phrase, "Haruhi-ism is go!" (Though, you probably figured that out by the last () markings.) Nah, well it is. but that isn't the whole story. In a short story, I have digested far too many anime series these last few weeks. Well, that is to put it on top of my chores and training. (Though, not this week...temperatures just sky rocketed up to 106 from mid 80s.)

Ahhh, yes. Haruhi Suzumiya. I just downloaded this anime. It seems strange and yet awesome at the same time. I can't wait to watch more of it.

I know what you mean about temperatures. I'm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan now, and it's usually cool up here year round, but the past couple days it's been in the upper 80s and 90s. I can't imagine hundreds though, that's gotta be crazy. I hope you have air conditioning in your house! There's none at our apartment, we need to get a window AC unit or something. Thankfully it's supposed to be cooler today.

Well, actually I saw "Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru" already, but I think that it's really interesting to read a well-written review on something you already watched - to see someone else's point of view and what other people liked/disliked.
Been kinda stressed lately but when the exams are over (they will be this wednesday) I will try to give some feedback on your review...
Maybe I will also try to write a review myself, I have thought several times about doing that, but been either to busy or too lazy till now

Now to your review: Well written and detailed, but not too long Hm... it's kinda hard to give much feedback if you basically agree with something
But one thing: I'm not sure if Mizuho is really in love with Maria. I mean of course he seems to care deeply for her and understands her better than anybody... but the same applies to Takako... Takako says herself that it's mysterious how Mizuho seems to know everything about her... since he understands her so well. And on one ocassion Mizuho does think something like that "he really likes her"...
Well, but I guess we'll never know for sure until they decide to make a second season

Btw: It's not possible to write a review if there is no category for that anime, right? There seems to be no category for the anime I wanted to write one about...

There's no review calculator, unless you count the basic calculator installed on your computer. All I did was enter in the average divide by 10 and add that onto the average. (Generally, modifiers (For me) are %10 (Small), %20 (Fair), and %30(Massive) and go no higher than that.)

I personally have always pushed for a 5th scoring category, to the likes of 'tilt'. A score independent of all the tangibles like plot, art and sound. I wanted that category so that I could give my personal opinion on something outside of it's technical merits. Something like Tenjho Tenge which I thought was absolutely terrible ended up with a higher score than I would have liked because it did have gorgeous animation and great sound but the show on the whole was awful. I guess I just try to work within the parameters of the given review system. Either way, keep writing and keep em thoughtful and that will improve the system on its own.

Yeah, I think that's the message that I meant to say. And I tried not to bash it too much because I realized it was their protrayl of the story. But there were some things that really hit me hard. (In the area it was weak, I changed the way I graded it, simply for the fact that I didn't want to give it too much or too little credit.)
