I couldn't help it. Though I think the little rings were the problem, but the

Well it's alright and thank you for your comment.
lol, you could just erase and re-outline. YOu could also
just put all of the fingers together. . .
Oh, and I first saw the thumbnail in Pink Princess, and there is a hover over
image that blurrs it. My first thought was, who would submitt a vector with a
blur filter? no one will be able to wall it at all. . . Then I realized it was a
hover over code. lol!
I really want to do that, but I'm not very good when it comes to drawing
lineart.
Let's see blur filter can really mess up outlines. @_@ Except for shades because
it looks awesome. >:D
If only I scanned my magazine maybe the vector could've been better.
Quote by kaisui1tatsuYou need to
stop submitting scans from www.kawaiidream.net. If you look under the
FAQ in the support section you will find a list of sites that Minitokyo doesn't
accept scans from. KAZ has a very distinctive quality and is easily recognized.
Oh...but ive seen so many kawaii dreams scans on MT
Especially under the Resident Evil 4 Category almost all the scans are from
Kawaii Dreams

I bet scanning a poster type image was difficult. . .

It's surprisingly easier than doing the double-page
spreadinsde the book. The way the poster lies flat makes it so much easier.
After that, it's just fixing the whole thing in place

Yeha I am also glad I did not have deleted the images. I think I would become

Hmm, I can
only think of two things that you could have done if you deleted the files: you
can do an image search for all of the images in your computer, or you can ask
other people on MT if they have copies of your submissions. When you use search
to find all of the images in your computer, you even get little icon images as
well, so if there is a copy you don't know about in your computer, the search
will find it. Ah well, at least you don't have to do either! lol
Thanks for your Ideas. I will think remind them if something like this will ever
happen again. It was more luck than anythink else because I just made a copy
from them the day before yesterday..
Quote by kaisui1tatsuAwesome! You
could always host the scans somewhere else like imageshack and link them to your
page. That is what I had to do here. http://ffvv.minitokyo.net. MT doesn't
accept scans from KAZ, so I just linked them on the page for people to use. You
could link them to your userpage if you wanted
to.^_^
I didn't keep it. I deleted it about four months ago because I was trying to
clear space on my hard drive for some very large torrents I was wanting to
download, and I didn't really want the image anymore anyway. I'm just not such a
fan of Ashe that I would want to keep such a huge file of her I'm sorry.

Hmm, I thought that 200 was good. I am scanning a art
book, but I think that I am going to rescan some of them at a larger resolution,
but I am just afraid that they might be too rough
looking.
Well, sometimes I need to do some cleaning and a little blur with Photoshop. But
I think it's better to scan in a higher resolution because if you size it down
it looks much better as scanned in 200dpi. Most of my scans are sized down here
because of the file size.
Quote by kaisui1tatsuAhhh! This is
like an insane huge scan! Where did you get such good scans from? Especially if
you had to downsize it.
Unfortunately I've had it for so long I don't remember where I got it from, but
it was probably either one of the many image boards out there or a torrent. The
original resolution was 5674x8000 and over 6 MB, so yes, it was far too large to
submit as it was. I miss MT's old 5 MB file size limit
Quote by kaisui1tatsuI have only
seen a few of the anime episodes on youtube, but I did enjoy the comicalness of
it. I can understand that each episode is its own little story, so I agree with
you. I think that this anime is a pretty good break from more serious animes if
you need one. I think that the movie is also a long version of the episode, but
the end of it ties into the tsubasa chronical movie, so that is a neat thing to
watch out for. You have a pretty nice review here. Thanks so much for taking the
time to write it for us1 ^_^
Thanks for the comment on my xxxHOLiC review. ^^
And I've heard that xxxHOLiC kind of connects it with Tsubasa Chronicle but I
haven't seen it yet so I can say much. From the little I know, though, I haven't
seen any connections (probably due to that reason). Just that the characters in
xxxHOLiC show up in Tsubasa Chronicle as well.
Hi Kaisu-chan ^_^. I was away last week for an anime convention, so that's why I
haven't replied. It's was a lot of fun, and I even wrote up a whole report on my

I don't really have any paintings that are better than this, but I am working on
Paine's poster right now. Well, I haven't touched it in a while, but I plan too
soon. I haven't really painted anything lately, not in oil anyways, so I think
that I should just do a pratice painting before I continue on Paine so that I
don't mess her up. When I am done with Paine I will also paint Yuna's poster so
it is a complete series. Yay! ^_^
Very nice! I look forward
to seeing those. When your next painting is finished I'd be more than happy to
answer any questions you might have about photographing it to get a good quality
shot. Though you probably already know most of the tricks :P. How far along is
the painting?

shoulders would help, I also think that the eye is too close to the bridge of

redo this one in oil. . .I think that it would be pretty neat to do it in a
different color scheme as well. ^_^ yay for ideas!
Glad I
could help . Doing this piece might be a good warm up before finishing your other piece
as well, on account of it being a bit less detailed.
Let me know how things turn out. Also, I don't know if you heard, but I managed
to sell that painting I did already (Infidelity). After that I had to do another
piece for that gallery in a very limited time frame. But I did get it finished,
and it's up on MT here.
Your feedback is always welcome .
Hello There Kaisiui,
I wanted to pop around and thank you for commenting on my guest book. I really
enjoyed my visit to your Group. As it were, I'm presently not a member of any MT
group. It's mostly due to time restraints that keep me away. My general movement
can sometimes be unpredictable and I'd hate to be a dead weight while I'm gone
especially if I'd like to enthusiastically contribute to the group if it's based
on something I enjoy as much as the other members.
Thus, many thanks for that warm invitation. Of course, I should like very much
to pay your group a visit and leave a little message in your guest book every
now and then when I'm around. And when situations change, I'd be all too happy
to hit that join button. Meanwhile, if I produce a Valentine work, I'm happy to
have you be the first to know about it!
Meanwhile, however, I'd like to invite you to my own gallery when you have the
time. Have a look around, leave your mark on pieces you enjoy most. I'd be all
too pleased to hear from you! ^__^

Thx for pointing those out! i tend to hv probs w/ anatomy most of the time. Din

And setting up a lot of stuff for a really, really nice photo can get to be too
much. lol! I just use my digital camera. It does a pretty decent job, but it has
to have a focal point or the camera will take a picture of something out of
focus. So I always have to wait for the little green box to show up. . .oh well.
It is 7.1 megapixels though, so I usually get really nice big photos! yay!
And yea, that is true about thumnails. . .sometimes they even have a pixelized
look. . .Yours looked pretty good as a thumbnail though.
^_^
Hiya Kaisu-chan ^_^. Thank you for the reply, and
compliments ^_^.
My personal compact digicam is 5mgp, but we have one at the gallery that's
either 8 or 10 (can't recall right now). That's the one we use for the gallery's
website, not that it matter for our site there since the images are pretty
small.
You are right though, since the thumbnails are created by MT, they can get
distorted in terms of color. It's particularly noticeable with vectors that have
large areas of solid color (like my Curly Brace wall).
Quote by kaisui1tatsuNeat-o! I
really like thier poses. And the vectors of these scans makes them so much
easier to wall! yay! Oh and great disription. I love the 'not to difficult'

The full title of the art book is Yoahitoshi ABe Lain Illustrations ab# rebuild
an omnipresence in wired. I still have alot more scans to submitt, but some of
the images don't fit together perfectly, so I am going to have to fix them up a
little bit. More stuff to do in the summer I suppose. .

de-spined the book so I could get the scans, but I don't have any protetion

have a variety of protector sleeves?
Indeed I do. I have
always been a fan of the Itoya ART Portfolios for
my storage needs, and they are also archival. Best thing though, is that they
are pretty cheap too! So you get good quality for a great price (and no I don't
work for them ).
They may be available at your local Micheal's or AC Moore (big chain stores),
but you can also get them in just about every local art supply store.
If you'd rather shop online, you can get them from the Dick Blick (art supply
dealer) website here... http://www.dickblick.com/zz150/19/
So they are pretty easy to get. I don't know that you'll find a better solution

I really like how you did the hair, it does have a feathery look. I also really
like the black lines that you added over softer lines, like the tear, and the
hair. You can see how controlled the paint is.
The only thing that I think could use a bit more work is the eye, but everything
else is great!
Hiya Kaisu-chan ^_^. Thank you very much for
taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it .
And thank you so much for the compliments. I know it's not perfect, and I'm not
sure that they ever are. But that's okay ^_^. That's kind of part of my style,
especially when I add the black lines at the end I don't worry if they are right
on. It lends the piece an element of spontaneity I think. Yes, the eye could be
a bit better, but at this point it's done and I'm not going to worry about it. I
try not to dwell on the details too much, and just keep going with a piece.
After all, I can always improve with the next painting ^_^.
So, thank you again. I only wish that you could see it in person. It's much
better that way of course. I will update the image with a higher quality photo
when I have time, and probably after the show it went to is over.

Quote by kaisui1tatsuYour welcome!
And congrats on the highlighting of it. It is hard to get a really nice photo of
a painting. . .you always have to have really nice lighting. I think one of the
best sources is sunlight on a overcast type of day because you do get really
bright light, but there is not any glare because the sun is behind the shadows.
I think that I have at least two pictures of paintings in my gallery. I didn't
have a digital image of Rikku, so that submission is actually a scan of the
photo. lol, either way it works! I kinda wish that my paintings would get
higlighted as well. . . . but I guess no one really sees them. . . .*sigh*
Well, I will look forward to seeing more of your art work! I hope that you
summer is going great so far!
Thank you again. But I don't
believe it was highlighted ...? I checked the highlighted gallery and didn't see
it on the first five pages. However, I did notice that it is in the elite
gallery now, so is that perhaps what you meant...? If it was highlighted though,
maybe you can give me a link to where you saw it ^_^.
Indeed, I am familiar with using natural light on an overcast day and I agree on
that point. Unfortunately I was pressed for time and had to make due. I have a
decent camera as well, but it's not the highest quality for this purpose. Though
I do get 5mp on it, it's still a compact. So when I get the piece back after the
show, I intend to borrow my friends pro camera to get a really nice shot of it.
If I wanted to get it perfect though, I'd probably use a triangular light-source
setup using Tungsten bulbs, but that's getting more technical and may not be
necessary :P.
I didn't realize you had paintings in your gallery as well, so I'll have to go
back and look for those ^_^. Don't worry if people don't look at your paintings
though. Mine don't get that much attention either :P. I think people on MT in
general prefer the digital pieces, mostly because you really have to download
the full version to begin to appreciate a painted submission. They do not often
look very interesting as a thumbnail image, and that's what a lot of people go
by.
I'll write again after I have had a chance to look at some more of your work.
Till then, take care ^_^...

Mine don't get that much attention either :P. I think people on MT in general prefer the digital pieces, mostly because you really have to download the full version to begin to appreciate a painted submission. They do not often look very interesting as a thumbnail image, and that's what a lot of people go by.
I'll write again after I have had a chance to look at some more of your work. Till then, take care ^_^...
You are welcome.

You have met me.
Hm. I thought MSN is smarter and it sends invitations in proper language. But yes, I sent you such email ^^. It is just I like to chat with people in real time. Since I just hate waiting, it can be sometimes irritating, waiting for the reply in guestbooik
.
About the games. No, I haven't heard about DoC online. Lemme know if you find it. And I didn't knew about that conversions site either. If you can, please give me link to it. Thanks in advance.
I've scanned both books and have already submitted the najority from them... and yes, Pandora is one I'll be submitting in a day or two (it's finding the time more than anything else
)
