er no, I don't think so, it is kinda hard for me to do all that, I have recently retired from a few groups due to inactivity and I fear I do not have the qualities for another group modding.
It is however, my honor to have been invited for that position regardless. Thanks.

As for your place as a moderator, I'll be happy to make you one ^_^

No, Thank you for having created such a good group, and i'm happy to be a moderator, i understand the pressure of being an Adminastrator. And as being an activist i happen too enjoy being one.

Also i left a message in the guestbook, would you mind my group affiliating with yours?

Quote by Shinsengumi89 Thank you for posting in my thread! I agree with you on the fact the guns hinder peace, wish more thought the same.

Shinsen89

PS. Questions and comments welcome.

You're welcome! I'm glad you started such a topic.. I'm sure there are more who think war is waste of time...

r q g

That's quite impressive, Shinsen89! People as young as you in politics is not a common thing. Hope you achieve something good on that committee.

r q g

yes im athiestic =) id love to join consider thios applying

r q g

sure i'll join. btw i debate for fun, just to outsmart the other person rather than trying to convince him, i find it quite amusing. is that wrong?

r q g

Quote by Shinsengumi89This is a great shame you were so fun to debate with....

Yes do you have a question? I've encouraged posts on my guestbook but none seem forthcoming. Thanks for any feedback you might have for me.

And also, I don't consider debate fun. Dabate isn't for the sake of debating. It is for the sake of getting closer to the truth. A skilled debator might convince an audience that black is white, but the fact that black is black still remains.

I'm going off on a mission trip on monday, so I'll try and check back tomorrow to answer any queries you might have. Until we speak again, Take care and God bless, nice to see you back.

r q g

not really an atheist, not really anything, just decided to go my own way. lost faith for reasons i can't really discuss.
i'll think about joining.

Quote by Shinsengumi89Hey there, I was checking to see how the Christian fellowship page was and i saw your post, hilarious.

Yeah, I felt like doing that and maybe livening things up around over there.

Quote by Shinsengumi89Hey BobaFett,

Your the first too have recived the message at the MT Athiest forum, again i want to apologize.

So have you gotten bored reading the bible yet? I personally have started to read The Assualt on Reason by Al Gore, i also read Brave New World.

So whats up with you?

Shinsen89

Heh, you still remember those discussions about the bible, huh? Actually, I got so bored that I haven't read it for almost a year now. I think i stopped a couple books after the Pentateuch. Eh, whatever; I don't know when i'll pick it up again, if at all; it's so damn dull.

Other than that, I've been mostly busy with school. Actually, it's kind of a shame..while I used to enjoy learning about religion, politics, philosophy, etc, I don't really enjoy it much anymore (this is one of the reasons I'm not reading the Bible anymore =P). I tend to just enjoy the things that I study in school now.

So while you seem to be as literate as ever, I haven't read a book since last summer =P. The last book I bought/tried to read is on the work of Russian number theorists..and I don't know if I'll ever finish reading it.

r q g

Hey, welcome back!

Hey there! it's been a while. really. :) anyway, you know, i've noticed you're really into politics and society and stuff like that... well i'm not like, totally into that (i bet you noticed because of my posts ^_^' i'm too airheaded and easygoing on those topics) but for some reason i thought you'd like to know, I HAVE TO VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT THIS YEAR! zomg i dunno what to do-- none of the candidates is good... T_T and nowadays i hear so much about politics that i'm sorta getting into it >.<
Anyway! These are good days-- i finished buying kenshin manga, read it till the very end, cried, read it again! so cool... how about you? what have you been up to? ooooh! btw i read a neat book that's placed near kenshin's time (1860 or something) called Cloud of Sparrows-- very interesting, lottsa action and japanese culture. I gotta say, i love it. :) you know the name.

Quote by Shinsengumi89You don't have to be sorry, i can be that way to but as of late i have toned it down.

Shinsen89

You seem like a nice enough person anyway.

Haha, other people seem to think differently. *looks at his guestbook*

I'll try to tone it down myself. I just get a bit nitpicky - almost anal. Ah, what the hell, I am anal. XD

r q g

Hey,

No problem. I really like your threads. They're very thought-provoking and sometimes they even challege those with opposing opinions. Thank you :D

Konban wa Shinsengumi89 san !

Glad to hear from U today. Also please to hear that democracy is alive in the hearts of fellow Americans. What better way to see democracy in action is to participate at the grassroots level. Too bad alot of people claim to know it all and don't understand the basic tenaments of what it takes to make a "democratic nation" work.

I recently seen a movie ( a friend allowed me to borrow a DVD ) titled "National Treasure", actually a gem of a movie w/ Nicholas Cage in it. It's not just a movie about treasure hunting for gold and riches. It's about a WHOLE LOT more. Put is this way: "Power does not belong in the hands of a few or even in the hand of the One". "Power show be in the hands of the many people". I was impressed with the message. To bad "King George W. and friends" have usurped thedemocratic process for themselves.

I have been doing okay, still working, just don't know when the ball will drop on me concerning my emplyment statis. Been to a family reunion recently. Strange to go to one. When relatives come up to U and (Help me , some one !) pinch your cheeks (no, not your cheeks on the dark side, lad ! "LoL !") on yor face ! Ow ! I had a good time, lots of food and meeting some strange relatives. Gotta love those family reunions !

My thoughts on the coming mid term elections of our elected officials to be. For congress, I'm afraid, congress will still be in the hands of the Republicans, still giving King George W. power over the people. Pewrhaps I could be wrong. Here in Ohio, we have two candidates, (Strickland--Democrat and Blackwell--Republican) running for the governorship. Funny, how no Republican has won the presidential race w/o winning Ohio. You're probably aware that Ohio is known as "the Mother of 8 Presidents?" It's either a curse or a blessing, depending how U look at it.

Just want to say, "Thank U for allowing me to participate in some of your threads and other issues." You bring up some very important issues that people should at least think about. I find them thought provoking, funny and if I may say so, never boring.

"Arigatoo gozaimasu Shinsengumi 89 san ki o tsukete kudasai !"

P.S., I will be going to Japan in Oktobor, 2006 for my vacation. Oyasuminasai ! (Goodnite !)
