Quote by GaiJinThanks for the fav! Really like your walls too!

You're welcome =D I actually was planning to comment too but I was in a rush that time... anyway I think it's just perfect~ There are no mistakes dammit >_< I'm so jealous XD

aaand~

Quote by GaiJinWow never expected to find an Amy Sol wall here. I love all of her works (and Four Dreams in general actually). I kind of miss the original face and the wood lines but the smooth feel of the vector works well with the soft earthly colours.

Aah, yes, Amy has extraordinary works, indeed I also like those wood lines and the colors she uses. ^_^ Well the image was puny, I couldn't vector it so that I could make it at least 90% as the original, I'm sure that those little things in the balloons are mice but some people said they were elephants. :D I'm very glad you like the wall tho. I'm still improving my skills, I know I still have where to improve :)

Dang I would have wished to write this in French XD but I will start studying it next year so wait for me to show you my awesome language skills XD

Oh by the way, I have this cute card ^_^ I'm leaving you a link, I know there are people who don't really like them.

Random Thank You card

Salut ^_^

Take care and have fun

anj :D

Quote by GaiJiNHey great to hear from you! Yeah finally finished it, lol I'm a bit ashamed when I see the 2006 new year card down there, took me long enough. Thanks for taking a closer look too!
So how're you doing? Still drawing I hope >xD

Hehe I wouldn't mind waiting that long if the result is as great as your newest one XD
Oh I'd be crazy not to take a closer look on that...
Anyhoo, yeah I'm quite alright... holiday is near lol
Haven't been drawing much... well, I did draw a lot, just not the usual leisure drawings done for myself anymore
I miss spending the whole day drawing whatever I feel like xD

Anyway have a great day, I'll see you around soon ^^

Many people already see through your humbleness with your wallpaper. =)

Quote by makiyashaWOW PERFECTION b^^d

how did u do the lines and how did u like shade it in ? plz tell meh thks^^

Thank you! About the lines it's not like I get everything like I want directly, I erase a lot. I usually pay attention to the position of my wrist and do curves in one stroke, just have to try again until it's right :). For the shading I keep in mind light sources, and dont forget global shading while doing details. Usually I smudge with my fingers, but also used a lot of cross hatching on this piece (though it doesnt show much). With this kind of shading the lineart must have a clean finished look, so it takes a lot of time and practice ^^

kool u must be like a pro or something ^^ for me everytime i rubb something out it tends to do more damage >_______>;;; and i suck at shading *still a newbie* oh and is that in pencil or did u fineline it? :nya:

Quote by GaiJiNHi there! First thanks a lot for the comment and fav on my last drawing. Then about the group invite, I will think about it. I really like the concept, I'm just not yet sure if I can be active enough for involving myself in a group right now.
And I really love your original character, I always admire well made picture books for the way they transmit feelings so naturally. Keep it up!

Your welcome :D Sure thing, come back any time when your ready :) Will look forward in seeing more of you in the (near?) future ^_^'
And it's always a pleasure to draw Zuru and share it so I can be motivated to carry on ^_^' So thanks very much for your support and I will definitely keep on drawing! :D Look forward in seeing your drawings around too, yeah? :)

Would you be interested in joining Oringinal? :D

Quote by GaiJiNFrom the thumb I thought it was a boing wall :) . Quality work on this one, must have taken quite some time.
Could use a bit more depth in colours, the different lighting makes the characters stick out. Then again they're not supposed to melt in the bg xD .
Lovely composition!

hahaha boing would vehemently deny that wall as his xD since he murdered it with his crit in AP D: *shakes fist* anyway yeah you are right about all that u said haha...depth is kinda a weakness and perspective too ><! but i try :D thanks for the comment! keep doing what you do btw i love looking at your works

r q g

Quote by GaiJiNHaha that looks just... freaking cool. Colours work fine like they are imo, but then again keep experimenting. Pink could be nice too, but I would have to see it to decide :) . Anyway great style as always. Perhaps you should tray playing around with the thickness of your lineart (weight of line), could improve your dynamic even more.

Thanks for your feedback. I thought of using different thickness of the lines but then I skipped that because that can easily look strange. But I will try that sometimes in the future.

Quote by GaiJiNYeah I really like the gloomy atmosphere but I feel you could have played a bit with colours and light. Like keeping the desaturated look but playing a bit more on dramatic contrast or something. Anyway concept is awesome, and your work on the background too. You're getting quite used to both cellshading and this kind of painting ^^.

I prefer cellshading now because the other way of painting takes so much time and patience. But I am glad you liked the gloomy atmosphere and the background.

Hey there GaiJiN. :D Thank you so much for your comment and fav on my lastest artwork. My pencil works could never be as lovely as yours. >_< Also thankful for encouraging me to keep it up. ;) I'll try and hope I can pull something like that again. Hope you take care and share more works on MT in the future. See ya later GaiJiN.

Quote by GaiJiNHey nice to see some new work! Love how the perspective adds motion to the picture :)
Buildings, colours and even chara design remind me of Germany xD
Keep it up!

Thank you very much for your feedback. A comment by you is something special because you seem to be rarely on MT, right?
Okay, the buildings are indeed German but what makes the characters look German? Haha.

btw: When will you finish your crazy artwork with that insane amount of details?

r q g
