Hiay Chubby-chan! It's great to hear from you . Thank you
so much for the wonderful comment ^_^. I'm happy that you liked the painting,
and I am sure that you could paint too!
You just have to try it. But it's not that hard. Though I do have a lot of
experience with the medium, I still think it's very doable. I'd be happy to
answer any questions you might have if you want to try it! I even have a great
painting guide on my blog, and I think I posted it on the forums here at MT
also.
Ahoi, Chubby-chan . Just thought I'd drop by and let you now about some updates to my
paintings. I have uploaded higher quality images on several of my previous
submissions, and I think you may have commented on some of them.
Hey Chubby-chan ^_^. I finally got a new painting up on MT. You can find it here. I hope you like it.
Your feedback is always appreciated .
Take care...

Quote by chubbykittyBeautiful! Before
I read your description, I thought "this looks like Tomoe!" (happens
to be my fav movie) Like Kuroimisa said, the focal point is very powerful. The
eye and hair are really nicely done. The tear is touching too; Reminds me of the
whole movie again ToT Great work!
I am actually a little
surprised how many people are so intimately familiar with Tomoe. I suppose I
shouldn't be though, because it is one of the most incredible anime OVAs
evar!
It makes me very happy to see that others, such as yourself, have been touched
by the anime, and even more so that I have been able to bring some of those
feelings forth in my painting . It's not
often that it happens this way, and I am honored by it.
So thank you very much for your kind words, and of course adding it to your
favs. Your support, as always, is greatly appreciated ^_^. Take care...
I hadn't been on MT for a little while, so I'm sorry for not visiting you sooner
.
Looks like you've been busy . You're
new work looks awesome, so I'm going to have to spend some more time in your
gallery again.
Well, I wanted to see what's new and how you are doing. Write me back if you
have time. Hope to hear from you!

Quote by chubbykittyHello! Glad
you're still interested in my work! That's really cool :3
I'm doing pretty good. I haven't been able to get a lot of original works done
lately since I staff at a KH site, and I've been working on projects with them.
I'm currently doing a KH fanart piece and then I'm going to be doing some KH
wallpapers for KHInsider (site I staff at). Hopefully after that's all done, I
can get back to doing my original works
Hi again Chubby-chan ^_^, I'm happy to hear back from you. Of course I'm still
interested in your work.
I have probably said this before, but I think you are one of the most talented
and skilled artists in this community. I am truly impressed by your work. And I
don't say this lightly either.
I'd like you to understand that I have some experience with art. I got my
Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Philosophy. I also did a good bit of
volunteering at the Yellowstone Art Museum, and after graduating got a job there
as well. A few years later I moved to North Carolina where I am now working as
Assitant Director at a local gallery, as well as working at the Cameron Art
Museum. Though my true interest lies in painting, which I am continually
pursuing. So that's just a little of my proffesional background, which I hope
doesn't sound too much like I'm tooting my own horn .
If you lived a bit closer, it would be fantastic to show some of your work in
our gallery. Unfortunately our area of focus is the state of NC, and adjacent
states. I don't know that the owner and director will change that focus, but I
certainly think your work to be worthy of a gallery wall. I'm sure that you will
have a very successful career in art, and I certainly hope that you are pursuing
this in your education.
Now, by KH I assume you're referring to Kingdom Hearts? What's the address of
this site that you are talking about? I'd be interested in seeing the results of
your current projects.
Well, anyway, thank you for reading and I hope I didn't bore you too much . I
look forward to hearing from you again...
Take care...

Wow! That sounds like a fun job! I'd love to work at an art museum! I've been
doing vector graphics for a long time now, but what I really want to get into is
digital painting. I've started with some in my MT account. I think I only have 2
completed so far.
I'm still practicing everyday until I get good though!
I enjoy working at the gallery, primarily because I'm with good people. I get to
do some digital art for the gallery in terms of designing promo material for the
our exhibits, as well as doing the website (threehoundsgallery.com). The museum
job is actually a little less interesting, as it's fairly slow, and it's more on
the administrative side of things (cameronartmuseum.com).
I'm sure that if you stick with the digital painting as much as you have with
vectors, you'll be really really good. You're vectors are after all incredible.
Just to get more experience, and for fun, I would recommend trying traditional
painting. Knowing how to paint using non-digital mediums will actually help with
your digital painting skills as well. I'll have to go look at your finished
dg-paintings on MT ^_^.
Quote: Wow! That'd be amazing to
have my work shown in a gallery x__x I've had my work up in our school show
cases, but not anything like a real art museum. That would be so cool :O And
yea, I'm actually pursuing art into my education. I have 1 more year of
highschool (I'm a junior D:), but then I'll be going to the Art Institute of
Seattle. I plan to really increase my art abilities/knowledge there. And from
there, I don't know what will happen. I'll just have to live life
:3
Maybe in the future I will have the opportunity to curate
a show of digital work. If that happens I will most certainly try to get in
touch with you. But don't get your hopes up on that one just yet -_^. I'd love
to do it, I'm just not in a position to make that happen at this time.
I think you'll find that college will be infinitely more exciting for studying
art than high school. At least that was my experience. After graduating HS, I
didn't want to do art. I didn't like doing it, even though I was decent at it. I
started college as a psychology major, but after taking my first painting
course, the floodgates were wide open! Ha ha. The rest, as they say, is history.
So too I think everything will fall into place when you get there. I think that
your artistic future is in the bag .
Quote: Yup, it's Kingdom Hearts.
The site is http://www.khinsider.com/.
Information about the contest is at the very last update on that page. It's also
a thread in their forum here.
The contest ends may 21, so they'll announce the winners sometime around then :O
I don't know if I'll win, but I'm going to give it a shot
Ah I see. Thank you for clarifying. I'll go check it out
soon and browse around. Though I must admit that I actually got a little tired
of KH, and so I stopped playing it. I was a little disappointed in that it
wasn't as deep a game as I had hoped. I think it lacked a little substance,
after the novelty of seeing my childhood Disney characters in a game wore off.
But if you liked it, then more power to ya ^_^.
Quote: haha, nah, it wasn't boring.
I don't interact with members here to much, so it's fun to talk to ya. See
ya!
Well, I'm glad to hear it. I enjoy talking with people
who do as well :P. But more importantly, I appreciate those who take the time to
write to me. It's unfortunate, but since moving to this town I haven't really
made any friends yet, and it's been over a year already. I'm not into going to
bars and partying, so I guess that leaves me out in the proverbial cold. I
suppose that's why I look for people online ^_^.
Nice talking with you, and wish you a good night and a good week. Till next
time...

How ya doing by the way?! My spring break was last week and so now this week has

Hey fellow Jazz Cafe member
The title actually isn't from An Cafe. Merrymaking actually means a party or
like a special gathering. So I thought the word worked good with the 2
characters having fun I had
actually forgotten a song from them was titled merrymaking so when I saw it a
few days ago I was like whoa..haha
Hiya! xD
Really? I didn't know that. xD But really, I DID think it was merrymaking from
an cafe. LOL! xD

Those paintings are...
Uyoku,
Infidelity of Itsuki,
as well as With Open Eyes,
Tears,
and Elf.
All of them are now higher resolution, sharper (so more detail), and the colors are closer in accuracy to the originals. Enjoy!
yay too, Ashley! *glomp*
