I am very sorry that I haven't been around. I got busy with all kind of stuff (work, life, the blog, and projects). I was a bit depressed this winter, and there were several weeks where I just stopped getting online all together.

After a while, I had so many notifications on MT, that I didn't have it in me to face them all :P. I know, it's silly. But I'm trying to get back here and work on it a little at a time. So, gomenasai ' for not writing back. I hope you're not upset with me.

I am very happy for you, since you are done with exams. I know you've been looking forward to that. I do like your new picture as well. I think it looks good. If it's okay for me to say so, ' you are very pretty...

It's great to hear from you. I thought I'd update you on what's happened recently... As you recall, I was working on a boat some time ago, but then I quite that job. Then I started working on a project building display boxes, lights, and racks for Chanel (to put in their store windows). But the people there were not entirely nice either. So when that project finished I was glad. For a few weeks I only had my gallery job, which is very nice but since I don't get enough hours it doesn't pay quite enough. But eventually I found another part-time job at a local museum, so now things are pretty good.

In the meantime, I've been keeping up with my blog, which you'll notice if you visit it (mentisworks.org). I have also been working on a making a little game called Copic Fighter, listed in my blog's side menu. And there is an upcoming art show which I'm entering a new painting in. So when the painting is finished I'll also post it on MT. That'll happen in a couple of weeks or so.

I hope things are going well in your life too. This winter was hard on me. I know that winter in general tends to depress people, but this one was a little worse than others. However, things seem to be looking up, and I hope that they are for you as well.

Wouldn't it be nice if the people we get along with nicely online could be our friends in real life too? I still haven't made any new friends here, so I think it would be great to meet all of you offline :P. But I guess, that'll probably never happen ^_^... sigh...

You know I haven't been active in MT from quite some time and yeah I kidna did it on purpose,I have a few persons that I call and they call me "very dear" around here so I wanted to see how much will they look for me if I don't seem to be around but in the end most of them looked for me only after a favourite or after I made the first step or something,don't worry I am not including you,I try to understand everybody's problems but come on when you are like active every day and I go to someone and see your posts full of "lipstick"(to say so) at a lot of persons I get annoyed.And after ages soem remember,when I appear a little "oh,I seem to have forgotten you" altough you are "my dear friend" and that is just what happens in real life too,fakness everywhere,I don't say for them to be completly sincere and tell every secret but to be a little bit sincere with themselves and with the others.And I guess I am like muddy when I appear in MT and except that I don't even want to fight anyone over things like this,altough it's common these days but well it still bothers me.

Ah but let's not speak of things like these anymore,I still have few friends whom I keep in touch even elsewhere than MT,like MSN,IM or yeah I know also one of my friends from here very well,she is one of my best friends in real life too,her name is Simo and yeah she joined because of me,hehe and I also made her to be very interested in animes,I am contagious,heh!

I do remember you telling me about your unpleasant tutoring job before, and I too am happy that you are not in that situation anymore ^_^.

I think I understand your feelings about your country and its people. Poland was not very different from that, and I think it probably still is a lot like that. Of course I have not been back in a long time, so I can't say for sure, but some things don't really change. There are many places like that in America too though.

Your thoughts about MT are accurate as well, I think. I have probably told you this before, but I don't really interact with too many people here because much of MT consists of younger and/or not so mature people. I like it more for being a place to share good artwork, and I am not too fond of how many users use this place like a MySpace, without caring or contributing to the MT art scene. For me it's more about the art, and sharing thoughts and ideas. Not to catch up on the latest "virtual gossip." Anyway...:P...

I seem to recall running a similar experiment on MT an other places to see whether people actually cared in these online communities. I could be a great contributing member, or not, and the result is always the same. Once you're gone, nobody really cares. It's like you didn't even exist in the first place. This may be quite depressing, so it's very important to remember one thing... never use online communities/relationships to make yourself feel better. These places are there as a resource for YOU. Use them to your benefit, but don't expect any sentiments in return. Be online for yourself, not for others, because that's almost always how everyone else behaves.

I'm sorry, but that does sound very cold in a way. There are exceptions, but I think it's important to know that they are few. So here's to "real" friends :P!

Now, you said not to talk about this stuff anymore, and here I have gone and done it again. Gomen . So let me change the subject.

Next year I plan to visit Poland finally after all these years. I am very excited, and I've been saving up money for the trip since Christmas. I am really looking forward to it. That's probably as close I'll get to Romania . Maybe you can come visit me in Poland when I'm there, ha ha! Well, anyway, I stopped Simo's page to say hello. I'm glad you two are such good friends. It's important. I always thought that good friends are rare, and I try to hold on to them and treat them as good as I can when I find them. Unfortunately, they don't do the same, and so many of my friendships have faded with time. Sometimes I wonder if it's because of how people are in America, but then I think it's like that no matter where you live.
