If it's okay to tell you about one other thing related to this, I'd like to
bring your attention to the forum as well. I'm part of many forums, and I'm sure
you are too. There's always a notification system for threads you posted in when
they are replies. But MT doesn't have this. In fact, whenever I want to check if
anyone has replied to a thread I posted in (not created mind you) I find it
difficult to do. I usually have to go looking through the forum to locate the
thread, or use search if the thread is older (assuming I can remember the
title). The point is that this is what I see as the cause of a fragmented
forum.
Most people I have noticed will reply to a question in the first post, without
reading what else has been said, and never visit the thread again. These are not
discussions, but random opinions in many threads. I believe that getting a
notification about replies, if subscribed, would actually facilitate ongoing
discussions.
Anyway, I'm sorry if I got carried away there :P. Though I suppose that having
been a member of MT for such a long time, I have observed many changes in the
community, not all of which have been positive. I have heard complaints from
other long time members as well, and I would like to see MT continue to be a
good place.

Hmmm. I think we've had a thing like that mentioned before, but I'm not sure if
it ever got put forward. But you don't have to dig out those threads ;D
When you go into Control panel, on the left menu there is a list of recently
participated threads under where your groups are featured. They expire though,
so I guess it's just there for you to keep track of your threads you've posted
in, and keep on keeping track of them thus maintaining activity. You might find
this particularly useful, if not, we'll see about those notifications.
Hmmm... about those posts not responding to the first post, that's a good thing
too. We might write something about that and grab a hold of those people who
just post according to the name of the thread ;D
And not a problem: we're all here to try to improve the place ^_^ There's always
the little "ohhh I wish that this changed to this" :P

I'm doing pretty good. I haven't been able to get a lot of original works done
lately since I staff at a KH site, and I've been working on projects with them.
I'm currently doing a KH fanart piece and then I'm going to be doing some KH
wallpapers for KHInsider (site I staff at). Hopefully after that's all done, I
can get back to doing my original works

American Schools since i was two and a half a lil brat

Hmmm yeah, I was thinking of perhaps an option in the control panel you could
tick for email notifications- it might be in the form of just stats (you have
new notifications) or linked to Minitokyo news announcements (or something long
those lines so that it's something that'll make you log in ) I don't
know how the idea will be implemented (if at all), but I'm hoping they'll
consider it. I'll bring it up a few times >D

Well I am happy to hear from you more news,you seem that you had a pretty tough
time.Well I think it's better that you quit those jobs that didn't fit your
tastes.Well I can't really say that I worked,I have a small job-I am a tutor at
English and French for a few kids(very few for now because I still have to deal
with the university and exams),anyway I used to have one that was completly
tiring me,I mean after goign to her place I was like exhausted mentally and I
don't know but it's true what they say that if you are tired
emotionally/mentally you feel also that your body is tired but well now I don't
tutor that kid anymore,she was just too difficult.
I am glad that your new job seems to work better.And about winter well I don't
really see it as depressing,maybe lately only because it dosen't seem to snow
anymore like it used to.I think what depresses me more are people,I mean in my
country many of them are rude one to another and also to nature,many of them
just throw things on the streets and cut green trees and so on and after that
they complain about the dirth or the inondations,I don't know but my town,being
also the capital,is very crowded and dirty and it's not that it isn't a
beautiful town nooo in reality the people are "dirty" and I don't know
but also coming here on MT depresses me a lot somtimes because I see some people
being very fake,I mean I have no problem with them I just prefere to avoid
them,but I just don't get them,yeah sure we are all even in real life a little
bit fake but to be fake also in a place where there isn't maybe one person that
really knows you and I just don't like that stuff of "kissing" people
too much to obtain something from them,okay sometimes you must do that but still
you must have some pride too!
You know I haven't been active in MT from quite some time and yeah I kidna did
it on purpose,I have a few persons that I call and they call me "very
dear" around here so I wanted to see how much will they look for me if I
don't seem to be around but in the end most of them looked for me only after a
favourite or after I made the first step or something,don't worry I am not
including you,I try to understand everybody's problems but come on when you are
like active every day and I go to someone and see your posts full of
"lipstick"(to say so) at a lot of persons I get annoyed.And after ages
soem remember,when I appear a little "oh,I seem to have forgotten you"
altough you are "my dear friend" and that is just what happens in real
life too,fakness everywhere,I don't say for them to be completly sincere and
tell every secret but to be a little bit sincere with themselves and with the
others.And I guess I am like muddy when I appear in MT and except that I don't
even want to fight anyone over things like this,altough it's common these days
but well it still bothers me.
Ah but let's not speak of things like these anymore,I still have few friends
whom I keep in touch even elsewhere than MT,like MSN,IM or yeah I know also one
of my friends from here very well,she is one of my best friends in real life

I am glad that you like the vector. I have been meaning to do something with
that portrait for a long time, and I finally got around to it . I think
it's an excellent character design to begin with, and I enjoyed making a vector
from it!
Yeah, I really liked the character design as well~ it was quite a unique style
of art and I liked how you sort of just used blocks of colour in your vector to
emphasise that sort of happy-ish feeling. And really, it was a great vector
because the lines were so smooth I remember
the first time I vectored it seemed like I had a jerky mouse

those are truly lovely words..~ yeah, without emotion it almost becomes just
another piece of drawing.. but i think the reason why so many admire ABe is that
his works come from, like you said, from the heart.. that makes him a very

thing i like about control is... the more the hand-mind coordination is put into
practice, certain hand muscles i believe is developed.. that makes it very easy
for the artist's strokes to be fluid like water, like bruce lee would often to
say. xD and yet, the hand momentum is rather stable.. that both (mind/hand)
become very, very synchronized.. as if the pencil is another part of the body..

learning another instument to understand it's dynamics/algorithms. right.. that
nifty gradient tool.. but i mostly use a sizeable brush with low opacity and
brush away and blur and erase -since i adore control.. xD

liked realism that look like total photographs (due to
too much smudging).. there's relative skill but it barely makes a lasting
impression.. but yeah - Kollwitz has some very weighty concepts in her
repertorie.. but so far, i find it one-sided and too depressive.. *laughs* but i
do have tremendous respect for her art. yes, i have seen many of Abe's drawings
a little off than what is marketable, mostly in his mangas.

Well abotu friends what can i say I passed trough some rough moments with soem

disappointment like this or who didn't he/she should be happy.
Well from my point of view the past is the past and since I don't have the power
to change anything from it I try to see the good things in it and also to think
more at the present.I don't know but this year I really felt loved on my
birthday and it wasn't about receiving presents or something like that ,I don't
know but I ismply didn't feel any negative vibe from them....I guess your
positive vibes reached me,hehe!
These days I am getting more and more busy with school and with the
teaching,well I have about 3 kids who I teach English or French and it is
sometimes tiring(last time I was almost about to fall asleep,hehe,you should
have seen me I was so funny)well that is to win soem money and to spend them how
I wish and I odn't know but the money won by me make me to feel better than the
ones given by my parents and I must say I had oneactually 2 kids about a half of
year ago that were really annoying,I mean I used to coem back home really anoyed
and tired because of them but these ones are really cute but sometimes I still
get tired.
Ah I was telling you last time that I am working at a drawing well I don't know
if it is your type,I mean I drew a girl and I don't know how I got to make a
sort of fancy drawing on her,a sort of tattoo I could say and I am trying also
to work a little more on an older drawing that doesn't have characters in
it,it's simply a landscape,it's after a painting from my house,hehe!
So your other job seems to compensate for all the problems you have at the other
one,well that is a good thing because I noticed that if the place where you work
is hard or not os hard but annoying you simply change a lot,I saw that at my bro
who used to act a little bit more violent or who didn't even use to sleep to
well at nights because of his job so I believe that is important to do somethign
with pleasere,even the things you do with pleasure might get boring sometimes
but if you recharge your batteries than it won't be nay problem.
Talking about that SPAM,I don't know i just send it ot a few person but I ismply
got annoyed and didn't send it anymore,I mean if I don't send it that doesn't
make me less friend or messages like that don't even make me a better friend if
I am actually rotten inside,I don't know but I don't seem to have time to send
that sort of game to everyone also so I am on your side in that!
Hmm I feel like changing my pic,hehe i want to change it from a long time but
well I have a few pics in my cell phone that look very nice but I can't get them
out,I had this problem I sent all my pics to a friend and he was supposed to put
them in hsi PC and send them to me and I waited more than 8 months for that,I
asked him many times to send them and when I called him on a holiday he tells me
that his phone doesn't work anymore,I was so upset but well he is tsill my
friend but next tiem if he does such a thign I'll beat him up,hehe!The idea is
that lately I am annoyed about my pic,hehe altough I seemed to have inspired
soemone to make a pic somewhere releted to mine but well....oho how did I got to
talk so much and now even about my picture,well I guess I have it from a logn
tiem!

Well I am student at Foreign Languages,3rd year,and except this year I still
have another one,so we are liek from the let's say "old series" who
makes 4 years and not 3 like the younger students.Anywya from my point of
view,you never finish to learn a foreign language like also you never finish to
learn your own language!Now I know I make many times mistakes when I am writting
altough I am student at English-French but I admit it that I don't really look
when I am writting,I know to write without seeing the letters but I simply can't
seem to get accostumed with that!
Oh from the long list of animes you saw,I cna say I saw about 2 or 3 only,the
rest I'll have to check on them.
Well I must say that I have various tastes in animes or mangas,there is one
naiem that seems that caught my heart and it may seem strange but it's an aniem
baout sports,hehe,Prince of Tennis,it's an older series but I love it!And at
this moment like I told you I don't know but I started liking D.Gray-Man very
much^_^!I htink this is going to be another long aniem like Bleach,but Bleach
isn't really my favourite anyway!Eh you cna look also in my list,I think I am
reading more manga than watching animes actually and I also have discovered the
Korean manga,at least from the point of view of love stories they have better
plots and the art is really fantastic!
As for my drawings,I admit it I am more interested in the practical side,not
really abstract but I love good drawings abstract or not made by others,well the
idea is that one of my dreams was and still is to be a clothing designer (for
women) os that is why most of my characters are girls and yeah I also like
simpler thigns,something that a person can wear not so extravagant,I think you
saw at TV that some designers make clothes that one can't possibly wear
somewhere else actually!
Oh I am happy that you got to know new people and that thigns rae goign better
and yeah I think it's good that you will renounce at the other job!It is no
point in being so annoyed because of a working place,and what I noticed is that
a thing that you don't do with pleasure can get you that depressed that things
won't work good on the other plans either.
You are right abotu school in Europe,it's very hard,especially in my country
from what i heard,I haven't been in another place but all the Romanian peopel
who studied somewhere else also said that our school it's much harder and
demanding than in other countries,I mean we even do subjects we don't care
about,in high school we had our programm filled with about 17-18 subjects and we
were maybe interested in only 5 or 6 of them!
Ah yeah I know I look a little bit serious,I am serious sometimes but other
times I don't knwo I am a very amusing and noisy person,honestly when I am not
at hoem or at school everyone starts missing me and my jokes and my noise,upss I
don't mean to brag but they said that to me.
You knwo i even made one of my best friends to join the site,her name is
Simo,she is also my collegue at the University and well we spend a lot of time
together!I got her into anime,hehe,and I got her brother also into anime,I
spread to both of them the anime love!About friends I always sya that is better
to have less but very good,but that isn't always the case,I don't know but for
guys seems easier with us girls there appear a lot of negative vibes many
times(like envy,for example)!
About my pics in the cell phone I need an USB to succeed to put them in my
PC!

Hmmm. I think we've had a thing like that mentioned before, but I'm not sure if it ever got put forward. But you don't have to dig out those threads ;D
When you go into Control panel, on the left menu there is a list of recently participated threads under where your groups are featured. They expire though, so I guess it's just there for you to keep track of your threads you've posted in, and keep on keeping track of them thus maintaining activity. You might find this particularly useful, if not, we'll see about those notifications.
Hmmm... about those posts not responding to the first post, that's a good thing too. We might write something about that and grab a hold of those people who just post according to the name of the thread ;D

Wow! That sounds like a fun job! I'd love to work at an art museum! I've been doing vector graphics for a long time now, but what I really want to get into is digital painting. I've started with some in my MT account. I think I only have 2 completed so far.
I'm still practicing everyday until I get good though!
Wow! That'd be amazing to have my work shown in a gallery x__x I've had my work up in our school show cases, but not anything like a real art museum. That would be so cool :O And yea, I'm actually pursuing art into my education. I have 1 more year of highschool (I'm a junior D:), but then I'll be going to the Art Institute of Seattle. Well I am happy to hear from you more news,you seem that you had a pretty tough time.Well I think it's better that you quit those jobs that didn't fit your tastes.Well I can't really say that I worked,I have a small job-I am a tutor at English and French for a few kids(very few for now because I still have to deal with the university and exams),anyway I used to have one that was completly tiring me,I mean after goign to her place I was like exhausted mentally and I don't know but it's true what they say that if you are tired emotionally/mentally you feel also that your body is tired but well now I don't tutor that kid anymore,she was just too difficult.
I am glad that your new job seems to work better.And about winter well I don't really see it as depressing,maybe lately only because it dosen't seem to snow anymore like it used to.I think what depresses me more are people,I mean in my country many of them are rude one to another and also to nature,many of them just throw things on the streets and cut green trees and so on and after that they complain about the dirth or the inondations,I don't know but my town,being also the capital,is very crowded and dirty and it's not that it isn't a beautiful town nooo in reality the people are "dirty" and I don't know but also coming here on MT depresses me a lot somtimes because I see some people being very fake,I mean I have no problem with them I just prefere to avoid them,but I just don't get them,yeah sure we are all even in real life a little bit fake but to be fake also in a place where there isn't maybe one person that really knows you and I just don't like that stuff of "kissing" people too much to obtain something from them,okay sometimes you must do that but still you must have some pride too!
You know I haven't been active in MT from quite some time and yeah I kidna did it on purpose,I have a few persons that I call and they call me "very dear" around here so I wanted to see how much will they look for me if I don't seem to be around but in the end most of them looked for me only after a favourite or after I made the first step or something,don't worry I am not including you,I try to understand everybody's problems but come on when you are like active every day and I go to someone and see your posts full of "lipstick"(to say so) at a lot of persons I get annoyed.And after ages soem remember,when I appear a little "oh,I seem to have forgotten you" altough you are "my dear friend" and that is just what happens in real life too,fakness everywhere,I don't say for them to be completly sincere and tell every secret but to be a little bit sincere with themselves and with the others.And I guess I am like muddy when I appear in MT and except that I don't even want to fight anyone over things like this,altough it's common these days but well it still bothers me.

Yeah, I really liked the character design as well~ it was quite a unique style of art and I liked how you sort of just used blocks of colour in your vector to emphasise that sort of happy-ish feeling. And really, it was a great vector because the lines were so smooth

ah i see.. so - if i take it as "subjects which are beyond the physical world".. like whatever is physically visual, also represents what is beyond visual, well yeah.. i do believe that as well.. as it gives the impression that in nature, we are surrounded by reason, intelligence thus constituting a certain harmony.. like poetry.. so yeah, art runs deep.

where i live, it has been under spanish regime for around 300 yrs so the school
of thought pretty much adapts to western philosophy. but as far as tradition
goes it still has it's own eastern influences. ^_^
those are truly lovely words..~ yeah, without emotion it almost becomes just another piece of drawing.. but i think the reason why so many admire ABe is that his works come from, like you said, from the heart.. that makes him a very effective conceptual artist.
the only
thing i like about control is... the more the hand-mind coordination is put into
practice, certain hand muscles i believe is developed.. that makes it very easy
for the artist's strokes to be fluid like water, like bruce lee would often to
say. xD and yet, the hand momentum is rather stable.. that both (mind/hand)
become very, very synchronized.. as if the pencil is another part of the body..

right- i have seen it.. but, i am still about to write my comment.. xD ..i have another cg'd art.. i used the pen tool.. but i get problems getting the perfect round curve.. and like i said, with cg tools it has not much for line variations, unless i go back and lightly erase some.. so with the latest piece i use a stylus and tablet which was sucky and wobbly.. but i guess it's like learning another instument to understand it's dynamics/algorithms. right.. that nifty gradient tool.. but i mostly use a sizeable brush with low opacity and brush away and blur and erase -since i adore control.. xD

too much smudging).. there's relative skill but it barely makes a lasting
impression.. but yeah - Kollwitz has some very weighty concepts in her

do have tremendous respect for her art. yes, i have seen many of Abe's drawings
a little off than what is marketable, mostly in his mangas.

Ah I was telling you last time that I am working at a drawing well I don't know if it is your type,I mean I drew a girl and I don't know how I got to make a sort of fancy drawing on her,a sort of tattoo I could say and I am trying also to work a little more on an older drawing that doesn't have characters in it,it's simply a landscape,it's after a painting from my house,hehe!
So your other job seems to compensate for all the problems you have at the other one,well that is a good thing because I noticed that if the place where you work is hard or not os hard but annoying you simply change a lot,I saw that at my bro who used to act a little bit more violent or who didn't even use to sleep to well at nights because of his job so I believe that is important to do somethign with pleasere,even the things you do with pleasure might get boring sometimes but if you recharge your batteries than it won't be nay problem.
Talking about that SPAM,I don't know i just send it ot a few person but I ismply got annoyed and didn't send it anymore,I mean if I don't send it that doesn't make me less friend or messages like that don't even make me a better friend if I am actually rotten inside,I don't know but I don't seem to have time to send that sort of game to everyone also so I am on your side in that!
Hmm I feel like changing my pic,hehe i want to change it from a long time but well I have a few pics in my cell phone that look very nice but I can't get them out,I had this problem I sent all my pics to a friend and he was supposed to put them in hsi PC and send them to me and I waited more than 8 months for that,I asked him many times to send them and when I called him on a holiday he tells me that his phone doesn't work anymore,I was so upset but well he is tsill my friend but next tiem if he does such a thign I'll beat him up,hehe!The idea is that lately I am annoyed about my pic,hehe altough I seemed to have inspired soemone to make a pic somewhere releted to mine but well....oho how did I got to talk so much and now even about my picture,well I guess I have it from a logn tiem!
Okay I am goign to watch D Gray Man,I made a pssion for thsi naime,I am acting liek a child!By the way what animes or mangas do you like,I never asked you that!

Well I am student at Foreign Languages,3rd year,and except this year I still have another one,so we are liek from the let's say "old series" who makes 4 years and not 3 like the younger students.Anywya from my point of view,you never finish to learn a foreign language like also you never finish to learn your own language!Now I know I make many times mistakes when I am writting altough I am student at English-French but I admit it that I don't really look when I am writting,I know to write without seeing the letters but I simply can't seem to get accostumed with that!
Oh from the long list of animes you saw,I cna say I saw about 2 or 3 only,the rest I'll have to check on them.
Well I must say that I have various tastes in animes or mangas,there is one naiem that seems that caught my heart and it may seem strange but it's an aniem baout sports,hehe,Prince of Tennis,it's an older series but I love it!And at this moment like I told you I don't know but I started liking D.Gray-Man very much^_^!I htink this is going to be another long aniem like Bleach,but Bleach isn't really my favourite anyway!Eh you cna look also in my list,I think I am reading more manga than watching animes actually and I also have discovered the Korean manga,at least from the point of view of love stories they have better plots and the art is really fantastic!
As for my drawings,I admit it I am more interested in the practical side,not really abstract but I love good drawings abstract or not made by others,well the idea is that one of my dreams was and still is to be a clothing designer (for women) os that is why most of my characters are girls and yeah I also like simpler thigns,something that a person can wear not so extravagant,I think you saw at TV that some designers make clothes that one can't possibly wear somewhere else actually!
Oh I am happy that you got to know new people and that thigns rae goign better and yeah I think it's good that you will renounce at the other job!It is no point in being so annoyed because of a working place,and what I noticed is that a thing that you don't do with pleasure can get you that depressed that things won't work good on the other plans either.
You are right abotu school in Europe,it's very hard,especially in my country from what i heard,I haven't been in another place but all the Romanian peopel who studied somewhere else also said that our school it's much harder and demanding than in other countries,I mean we even do subjects we don't care about,in high school we had our programm filled with about 17-18 subjects and we were maybe interested in only 5 or 6 of them!
Ah yeah I know I look a little bit serious,I am serious sometimes but other times I don't knwo I am a very amusing and noisy person,honestly when I am not at hoem or at school everyone starts missing me and my jokes and my noise,upss I don't mean to brag but they said that to me.
You knwo i even made one of my best friends to join the site,her name is Simo,she is also my collegue at the University and well we spend a lot of time together!I got her into anime,hehe,and I got her brother also into anime,I spread to both of them the anime love!About friends I always sya that is better to have less but very good,but that isn't always the case,I don't know but for guys seems easier with us girls there appear a lot of negative vibes many times(like envy,for example)!
About my pics in the cell phone I need an USB to succeed to put them in my PC!

But it's really surprising to me cuz usually , an artist will prefer to 1 style of graphic only , but u do make wallies in several styles , that's really incredible ^^ .
