The "wallpaper" of Roy from Full Metal Alchemist
that you left this comment on was not what it appeared to be. When downloaded it
was extremely enlarged. In order to pretend that it was a wallpaper the member
had merely slapped their name in the bottom corner of the pixelated travesty.
Quite blatantly it was the thumbnail of a stolen wallpaper that had been
enlarged...
Therefore by leaving messages like this for them you are giving credits to
someone who rips wallpapers.
The sad thing is that the comment you wrote clearly displays the fact that you
didn't even bother to download the "wallpaper" before you commented,
because if you had then you would have been dismayed by the ugly mess that they
had submitted.
Please download items before you comment on them. The thumbnail is obviously
very deceptive, and by commenting on something like this you are only
encouraging people to steal wallpapers and distort them in this way. It also
makes you look pretty silly to be commenting on something so ghastly that it
insults the characters & the series that you obviously

do?! I had already submited it... and how am I to know that a person stole

You didn't have to be so rude in your post. Just because you are a moderator it

means that someone (not necessarilly you) has taken a nice image that was
originally smaller & made it larger using something like photoshop. But when
the scan is enlarged it does not keep the beautiful quality it had when it was
small. The lines become jagged & pixellated. The colours become blotchy
instead of smooth & glossy.
The scans here are a resource for others to use in their wallpapers or websites.
An enlarged scan looks ugly and can not be used to make anything.
That is why it is against the rules to submit these low quality
scans.
