have a choice, yet. i'm patient enough to wait for my parents to stop being

Texas Assessment Test which compares you to how smart you are with others but I
failed it because I wrote a poor essay I

every question right but wrote bad essay agh I'm never gunna let myself forget

situation... it's different here, i'm never an adult in this house, so in the
end most decisions are done by my parents. thing is they have no decision making
abilities and look out for their own pleasures first, which in the end affects
what i'm going to be doing in life greatly...but it's nothing i can't bear
with...at least i hope so ^^"

oh? well my real ambition is to become a psychologist. since i was younger i was
always fascinated with the way humans as a whole behave... at times i wanted to
be those criminal psychologist...just to understand what are the real motives
behind serious crimes, other times i just wanted to be a school
councelor...offer an ear and a hand to kids...social worker... they all revolve
around the same thing... perhaps i also want to understand myself, why people
are so different yet so similar...stuff like that ^^
heheh and i wil be sure to look you up in case i needed it :P
aww about your english test, i wish you told me earlier... actually...hahaha i
always score real high on the essays...yet the rest of the exam i am prone to
making a few mistakes. on the SAT1 exam i scored a 9 on the essay which was one
of the highest in class for one who took it only once, and on the TOEFL (which
is another test we need to take for most colleges) i got a 30 out of 30! hehe
yeah i was real happy i scored full on the essay...the rest was pretty good...
but i follow one "formula" for essay writing. depends on the type of
essay, but trust me it works on most, ranging from summaries to persuasive
essays.
well what i do, in case you might like advice from a pro and
it's thanks to my english teacher, btw she's a novelist, pretty awesome. unfair
for me to take credit for what she taught us so here is what it it:
introduction: five sentences. first sentence is general, usually i start out
saying "for many years" "since ancient times" "since
the beginning of history."
yes, you must have noticed we are talking real general, don't touch the topic
yet, talk general, give a glimpse of what you're going to be discussing and then
"smooth in" to the topic in the next three sentences, making it less
general by the sentence. the fifth sentence is always always always always your
thesis statement. what i mean by the thesis statement is almost exactly what you
are gonna be talking about. in persuasive essays it would be what you are trying
to persuade your reader about. for example you can say. " Thus, juvenile
delinquints should not be sent to jail" (heheh a topic we had to write a
persuasive essay for and debate. hehe came out top speaker so i do know what i
am talking about)
now the perfect essay consists of five paragraphs (unless you are asked more by
the teacher, but intro is intro and even if the teacher asks for a million
paragraphs, the intro never changes, if you want to add more sentences to the
intro, do so before the thesis statement. in other words, the thesis statement
is always always always the last sentence of the intro.)
the next two in a five para essay are for support. here you cite examples from
daily life, an article you read, something completely made up if you make it
sound real, something from history...anything anything. they're paragraphs where
you give proofs and examples...like when you argue with your friend. even then
when you think your arguement really is not so substantial you make things up
just to come out right, ne? for
example "it is common knowledge that most delinquints are children or
younger teens who come from families that are not so well off or are suffering
from major hardships. can you blame a child for setbacks of society? if the gov
was able to handle financial issues, would a child need to steal to eat? if
parents were more considerate and stopped yelling at each other right across
from the child's room, would he feel the need to vent out in public?"
another way is adding some nice saying, and i am not kidding, i searched online
for sayings all over and studied them, now they come to me whenever i work on an
essay, a good one to use that i did was "desperate times call for desperate
measures" and go about explaining why the delinquint is a victim thing
is it might not be true, some delinquints just like doing what they do... but i
believe they don't and so i prove it! ^^
the fourth para is negation (only in persuasive essays. in the rest it's again
just a normal para where you are supporting and citing examples or explaining
the topic at hand).
in case you were wondering, negation is where you think of what your friend
might say to argue back, almost like searching for weaknesses in your arguement
and providing even more support. hmmm it's easier in a debate to negate, when
you listen to the opposing side's arguement, then you think of something of a
counteraction... you could say here... "while it is true that it's every
man for himself, that children are responsible too for their actions and
sometimes extreme measures should be taken to make sure they understand that for
every sin they have to pay, but the root of the problem was never the child.
afterall, it is the duty of society to instill high moral values in the child,
and provide all the basic necessities for a healthy lifestyle, if society is
lacking, can you expect the child to be unflawed and complete?" hehe ^^ yes
i always ask so many questions cuz when the person reads they go "eh?! how
am i to answer that?!" and bingo, you hit right on the mark to create a
strong arguement.
conclusion is the second important after the intro, if written well, then your
essay is real good. in the conclusion, you usually sum up...hmmm, your last
sentence has what we call a clincher, it's again a question that leaves the
reader with no doubt that you are correct since he will be thinking about the
answer which normally doesn't really exist as a plain fact. sometimes you can
end it on a cocky note or just a closing phrase... hmmm...trying to think of one
for the topic but...my head really is pounding now ^^" ...hmm.... how about
"if you take a plant and cut it from the stem, leaving the roots alive and
intact, the plant once again grows. similarly, society's corruptions are so. if
you stop a corruption from the stem, it regrows. juvenile delinquincy is the
stem. however, society in itself is the root, and to stop the plant from ever
showing itself, you need to take care of the roots."
erm...something like that ^^"
well to study for an essay you can't, but you can always read. i love reading so
perhaps that is the reason my essays turn out well, i read so much that i am
familiar with most of the topics and always have examples in mind. ^^

told me that there is always a "light that never goes out" and since

mind...usually though i feel my own nervousness, but i guess something about my
stance makes everyone think i wasn't nervous in the least...which is odd but ok
with me ^^
hehehe well essays are my fav. i don't only write essays but stories and fanfics
too, maybe that's why i'm a fast thinker and writer when it comes to essays and
so on. another thing is i'm rather...hmm...how to put it, but i think on my
feet...even for debates and so on, i never ever ever prepare...i just go up
there and speak right what i feel about the topic...usually when you argue for
the side you believe is right (not exactly having to be the side you are on, but
the side you know is the right one). that's what i do. in persuasive essays or
so on....let's say we had a topic like young women from this closed and rather
clean culture travelling to a place where it's open and full of corruptions, i
myself might be travelling to such a place, but does that mean i believe it's
the right thing to do? nah, so in my essay i picked the side where it said women
here should not be travelling to such places. my teacher asked why, she wanted
to know how i would defend myself and i told her "how is it that i'll
defend something wrong? there is no good excuse you'd accept, and no aruguement
when you're wrong ne...." it is how i am, i support what's right whether i
follow it or not.
heheh well my graduation was very nice, fun and ....LOUD! it's the first party i
ever attended, but it's nice...had fun with friends..didn't cry at all, it was
all a cheery event that was loud with music and dancing...though i wore heels
and my feet really...really hurt... ^^" hahah but it was very nice
well, everyone is unique in their own way...lools Assertive is something my
teachers describe me with too :P interesting that you would use it...but
well...i guess you be who you want to be right? i think you're pretty neat the
way you are... being like me probably won't be all that dream come true but
getting done what i want, that's determination... 'what you want, you manage to
get' that's what i always say. well another thing i always say is ''be who you
like, like who you be' (and the last 'be' is not a grammatical error, though
it's more aprropriate to use 'are' but it sounds more emphatic the way i put it
:P ) i be whoever i choose to be, and i guess when it comes to everything i like
who i chose to be. i think if you like yourself, you manage to like everyone
around you, and not only that, but it makes everyone like you too....liking
yourself though, i don't mean being selfish and loving only yourself...but
accepting your flaws, i think it makes others accept them too...when i
acknowledge my flaws, i find a way to perfect them.. or make them least
obvious... but no one is perfect...we all can just try our best.
hahahahahaha another thing i say is 'why do today what you can leave for
tomorrow?' my teachers feel like choking me when i say that
^^
hehehe my brother is spoiled too! and i smack him a couple of times to get him
to stop saying a bad word or so, but other than that most of us here just bear
with his antics...truth to be told i love him very much ^^.

hey grats on coming to the states ^_^. It can be a wonderful place I know
everyone talks bad about us but they don't get to know us as a country they look
at bush and say all americans are evil. Well 90% of americans hate bush to begin
with and I'm one of them. Especially here in the south its the
greatest you meet the nicest people here if your car breaks down before you can
get a hold of tow truck someone will drive by and help you.
Just the other day we broke down 10 mins later a fellow came along and helped us
out didn't even know us didn't ask for anything in return its a great place.
Just like a lot of other places with bad reps they don't get to know the people
just a select few and judge everyone else

aww, sorry for the sad memory...there was no such thing in our grad...we never
cried since nothing was sad, everything was soooo funny and cheery....our usual
selves..i think my class is very nice, we're all just funloving to the
core.

i love most happens to be a guy, if he cries, for sure i would too...but it

or something....it happened with mother and so on...she used to cr often when
she was sick..it started out i would cry with her, but i realized the more i
cried with her, the more sorry she felt for hersef, which was completely
wrong...so with a lil practice i stopped that senseless crying along and instead
everytime she cried i tried to act a lil tough and be the strong person she can
depend on. though those times she never really liked it and sometimes cursed me
for my 'insensitivity'...she thanks me for it now... it's ok anyway...i deal
with things the way i see fit after reasoning and so on... but i don't think a
guy who cries is a crybaby :S he's human too, who said crying was for
girls?
ooh the crash must have been scary...you probably didn't cry from the
shock...you know when you're in such intense pain, you don't really feel the
pain, like everything goes numb... once i got cut so deep i needed stitches,
thing is when i took a look at the wound i was thinking <wow this thing is
bleeding like crazy but doesn't hurt one bit...> was interesting...erm heheh
yea ^^ at least the stitches didn't leave a visible scar :P
well this is the story, don't get me wrong, politics and so on i seriously don't

hahaha lemme define corruption my teacher was talking about, and for your info
she's from the States, came last year here. she says she wishes i didn't have to
go. where i live now (note: i didn't say all arab countries, just talking about
the one i live in now) and talking about myself, my family shelters us sooo sooo
soo much that i turned out to be very veyr naive, it's silly and everyone makes
fun of how naive i get. but in this country, if you want to do something wrong,
it's hidden... there's no alcohol or beer in the market, you can't get drugs so
easily, robbery and rape are like soo sooo minimal you don't even really hear
about it much since it rarely happens... and ... most girls here erm...and
guys... well don't have relationships and so on... you know... we're just rather
conservative and erm...sheltered....
but then in the States, coming from here it would be a huge leap... it's hard to
understand but it makes sense... not that it's anything bad, i mean corruption
is everywhere, it's a matter of if you're going to let it get to you. but
anyway, no country is perfect and truth to be told i have no love for any
country...i'm not going to sit here and love a piece of land for crying out loud
:P and my loyalties are to the people i love...
hmmm the key to public speaking is this: when you're reading something from a
paper, don't think of the meaning behind the words, i read them without
thinking...so just empty your mind of understanding the material and read like
you're reading a story with vocal expressions and so on... as for debate, i
don't know...hmm i guess it's looking at the people but not seeing them... again
it takes practice and i am sure there are better speakers than me out
there...but i try...it's really hard and takes loads of effort... but it works
out in the end :P i guess it depends on personalities ^^" my sis never ever
speaks in public and even if father kinda suggests she speaks on his behalf she
freaks out on him and it's up to me once again.
Fanfics: fan fiction...it's where you take characters that are not your own and
use them in a plot which is yours...just a normal story but instead of the
characters being your own...they're from games or anime or movies, anything you
like :P
...as for reading mine :P well i'd like to share them and so on...but... ... ...
it's not reading material...hehehehehe oh my what am i saying... hehehe but
trust me, if i thought you would want to read it i would have shared it with
you, but don't you nod your head and tell me you love reading now, you need to
take my word for it, you wouldn't want to read my stories.... i don't want to
really share them now that i think about it...they're a part of me i left behind
a year ago anyway ^^

oh? well my real ambition is to become a psychologist. since i was younger i was always fascinated with the way humans as a whole behave... at times i wanted to be those criminal psychologist...just to understand what are the real motives behind serious crimes, other times i just wanted to be a school councelor...offer an ear and a hand to kids...social worker... they all revolve around the same thing... perhaps i also want to understand myself, why people are so different yet so similar...stuff like that ^^

aww about your english test, i wish you told me earlier... actually...hahaha i always score real high on the essays...yet the rest of the exam i am prone to making a few mistakes. on the SAT1 exam i scored a 9 on the essay which was one of the highest in class for one who took it only once, and on the TOEFL (which is another test we need to take for most colleges) i got a 30 out of 30! hehe yeah i was real happy i scored full on the essay...the rest was pretty good... but i follow one "formula" for essay writing. depends on the type of essay, but trust me it works on most, ranging from summaries to persuasive essays.

for me to take credit for what she taught us so here is what it it:
well what i do, in case you might like advice from a pro
introduction: five sentences. first sentence is general, usually i start out saying "for many years" "since ancient times" "since the beginning of history."
yes, you must have noticed we are talking real general, don't touch the topic yet, talk general, give a glimpse of what you're going to be discussing and then "smooth in" to the topic in the next three sentences, making it less general by the sentence. the fifth sentence is always always always always your thesis statement. what i mean by the thesis statement is almost exactly what you are gonna be talking about. in persuasive essays it would be what you are trying to persuade your reader about. for example you can say. " Thus, juvenile delinquints should not be sent to jail" (heheh a topic we had to write a persuasive essay for and debate. hehe came out top speaker so i do know what i am talking about)
now the perfect essay consists of five paragraphs (unless you are asked more by the teacher, but intro is intro and even if the teacher asks for a million paragraphs, the intro never changes, if you want to add more sentences to the intro, do so before the thesis statement. in other words, the thesis statement is always always always the last sentence of the intro.)
the next two in a five para essay are for support. here you cite examples from daily life, an article you read, something completely made up if you make it sound real, something from history...anything anything. they're paragraphs where you give proofs and examples...like when you argue with your friend. even then when you think your arguement really is not so substantial you make things up just to come out right, ne?
for
example "it is common knowledge that most delinquints are children or
younger teens who come from families that are not so well off or are suffering
from major hardships. can you blame a child for setbacks of society? if the gov
was able to handle financial issues, would a child need to steal to eat? if
parents were more considerate and stopped yelling at each other right across
from the child's room, would he feel the need to vent out in public?"

is it might not be true, some delinquints just like doing what they do... but i
believe they don't and so i prove it! ^^
another way is adding some nice saying, and i am not kidding, i searched online for sayings all over and studied them, now they come to me whenever i work on an essay, a good one to use that i did was "desperate times call for desperate measures" and go about explaining why the delinquint is a victim
the fourth para is negation (only in persuasive essays. in the rest it's again just a normal para where you are supporting and citing examples or explaining the topic at hand).
in case you were wondering, negation is where you think of what your friend might say to argue back, almost like searching for weaknesses in your arguement and providing even more support. hmmm it's easier in a debate to negate, when you listen to the opposing side's arguement, then you think of something of a counteraction... you could say here... "while it is true that it's every man for himself, that children are responsible too for their actions and sometimes extreme measures should be taken to make sure they understand that for every sin they have to pay, but the root of the problem was never the child. afterall, it is the duty of society to instill high moral values in the child, and provide all the basic necessities for a healthy lifestyle, if society is lacking, can you expect the child to be unflawed and complete?" hehe ^^ yes i always ask so many questions cuz when the person reads they go "eh?! how am i to answer that?!" and bingo, you hit right on the mark to create a strong arguement.
conclusion is the second important after the intro, if written well, then your essay is real good. in the conclusion, you usually sum up...hmmm, your last sentence has what we call a clincher, it's again a question that leaves the reader with no doubt that you are correct since he will be thinking about the answer which normally doesn't really exist as a plain fact. sometimes you can end it on a cocky note or just a closing phrase... hmmm...trying to think of one for the topic but...my head really is pounding now ^^" ...hmm.... how about "if you take a plant and cut it from the stem, leaving the roots alive and intact, the plant once again grows. similarly, society's corruptions are so. if you stop a corruption from the stem, it regrows. juvenile delinquincy is the stem. however, society in itself is the root, and to stop the plant from ever showing itself, you need to take care of the roots."

well to study for an essay you can't, but you can always read. i love reading so perhaps that is the reason my essays turn out well, i read so much that i am familiar with most of the topics and always have examples in mind. ^^

class or school or so on, but it's ok since i was chosen class representative
(and don't let me go there! they nominated and voted for me without me being
there! ^^" ) and i serve as a member of our Student Coucil so you can
imagine i tend to lead a busy school life full of speeches :P then again i don't
mind...usually though i feel my own nervousness, but i guess something about my
stance makes everyone think i wasn't nervous in the least...which is odd but ok
with me ^^
hehehe well essays are my fav. i don't only write essays but stories and fanfics too, maybe that's why i'm a fast thinker and writer when it comes to essays and so on. another thing is i'm rather...hmm...how to put it, but i think on my feet...even for debates and so on, i never ever ever prepare...i just go up there and speak right what i feel about the topic...usually when you argue for the side you believe is right (not exactly having to be the side you are on, but the side you know is the right one). that's what i do. in persuasive essays or so on....let's say we had a topic like young women from this closed and rather clean culture travelling to a place where it's open and full of corruptions, i myself might be travelling to such a place, but does that mean i believe it's the right thing to do? nah, so in my essay i picked the side where it said women here should not be travelling to such places. my teacher asked why, she wanted to know how i would defend myself and i told her "how is it that i'll defend something wrong? there is no good excuse you'd accept, and no aruguement when you're wrong ne...." it is how i am, i support what's right whether i follow it or not.
heheh well my graduation was very nice, fun and ....LOUD! it's the first party i ever attended, but it's nice...had fun with friends..didn't cry at all, it was all a cheery event that was loud with music and dancing...though i wore heels and my feet really...really hurt... ^^" hahah but it was very nice
well, everyone is unique in their own way...lools Assertive is something my teachers describe me with too :P interesting that you would use it...but well...i guess you be who you want to be right? i think you're pretty neat the way you are... being like me probably won't be all that dream come true
but
getting done what i want, that's determination... 'what you want, you manage to
get' that's what i always say. well another thing i always say is ''be who you
like, like who you be' (and the last 'be' is not a grammatical error, though
it's more aprropriate to use 'are' but it sounds more emphatic the way i put it
:P ) i be whoever i choose to be, and i guess when it comes to everything i like
who i chose to be. i think if you like yourself, you manage to like everyone
around you, and not only that, but it makes everyone like you too....liking
yourself though, i don't mean being selfish and loving only yourself...but
accepting your flaws, i think it makes others accept them too...when i
acknowledge my flaws, i find a way to perfect them.. or make them least
obvious... but no one is perfect...we all can just try our best.
hahahahahaha another thing i say is 'why do today what you can leave for tomorrow?' my teachers feel like choking me when i say that

aww, sorry for the sad memory...there was no such thing in our grad...we never cried since nothing was sad, everything was soooo funny and cheery....our usual selves..i think my class is very nice, we're all just funloving to the core.
erm question, you said this "and whats this you only feel pity if a girl is crying? so if a guy crys you call them a cry baby?" sorry but i have no idea where i implied this... i said i cry if anyone i love cries... and the one i love most happens to be a guy, if he cries, for sure i would too...but it depends on the circumstances, i think sometimes when a person cries, they're not looking to make others cry with them...i think they just need a confident hand or something....it happened with mother and so on...she used to cr often when she was sick..it started out i would cry with her, but i realized the more i cried with her, the more sorry she felt for hersef, which was completely wrong...so with a lil practice i stopped that senseless crying along and instead everytime she cried i tried to act a lil tough and be the strong person she can depend on. though those times she never really liked it and sometimes cursed me for my 'insensitivity'...she thanks me for it now... it's ok anyway...i deal with things the way i see fit after reasoning and so on... but i don't think a guy who cries is a crybaby :S he's human too, who said crying was for girls?
ooh the crash must have been scary...you probably didn't cry from the shock...you know when you're in such intense pain, you don't really feel the pain, like everything goes numb... once i got cut so deep i needed stitches, thing is when i took a look at the wound i was thinking <wow this thing is bleeding like crazy but doesn't hurt one bit...> was interesting...erm heheh yea ^^ at least the stitches didn't leave a visible scar :P

hahaha lemme define corruption my teacher was talking about, and for your info she's from the States, came last year here. she says she wishes i didn't have to go. where i live now (note: i didn't say all arab countries, just talking about the one i live in now) and talking about myself, my family shelters us sooo sooo soo much that i turned out to be very veyr naive, it's silly and everyone makes fun of how naive i get. but in this country, if you want to do something wrong, it's hidden... there's no alcohol or beer in the market, you can't get drugs so easily, robbery and rape are like soo sooo minimal you don't even really hear about it much since it rarely happens... and ... most girls here erm...and guys... well don't have relationships and so on... you know... we're just rather conservative and erm...sheltered....
but then in the States, coming from here it would be a huge leap... it's hard to understand but it makes sense... not that it's anything bad, i mean corruption is everywhere, it's a matter of if you're going to let it get to you. but anyway, no country is perfect and truth to be told i have no love for any country...i'm not going to sit here and love a piece of land for crying out loud :P and my loyalties are to the people i love...
hmmm the key to public speaking is this: when you're reading something from a paper, don't think of the meaning behind the words, i read them without thinking...so just empty your mind of understanding the material and read like you're reading a story with vocal expressions and so on... as for debate, i don't know...hmm i guess it's looking at the people but not seeing them... again it takes practice and i am sure there are better speakers than me out there...but i try...it's really hard and takes loads of effort... but it works out in the end :P i guess it depends on personalities ^^" my sis never ever speaks in public and even if father kinda suggests she speaks on his behalf she freaks out on him and it's up to me once again.
Fanfics: fan fiction...it's where you take characters that are not your own and use them in a plot which is yours...just a normal story but instead of the characters being your own...they're from games or anime or movies, anything you like :P
