Quote by saikusaI think I prefr the
background to the scan... the background has a lot of throught & creation
going into it, but the scan (as cute as it is) doesn't quite seem to fit in
& looks so much brighter than everything else. So I much prefer your rainbow
& the background you've created to the scan half of the wall
Thank-you. *bows*
I made this wallpaper on my laptop, but when I view it on the family computer
the colours are completely different. So
now I know that the computer's colours are right; because it looks to bright on
the computer but not on the laptop. I was waiting for someone to point me in the
right direction. Thank-you.
Quote by saikusaThese are all fantastic
scans! You've done an amazing job... and I shudder to think the state that your
CW book must be left in!
But this one in particular... all I can this is... Nami has big man feet!
Thanks so much for the comment (and highlights!) Ah, yes, my poor little art
book. I really wish they could give us art books that like, have detachable
pages... like, loose-leaf or something
Yeah, her feet are huge here The
only things that constantly change in One Piece with regards to Nami are her
feet, waist and boobs :p
Quote by saikusaNice work! Good clean
vector, and a nice simple approach. I see you've taken the symbolic
tattered-wing looking decaying stadium seating from the manga and made them into
actual wings. It looks very good

Quote by saikusaI'll admit that I wasn't
sure if this was going to be clear enough from looking at the very white
thumbnail... but I'm so pleased to discover it's a beautiful & bold image
A lot of the illustrations in the book are very empty, usually only one
character is on them and there is a lot of white space. I tried to choose one
that had a lot more going on in it to submit here xD Other than that, every page
is illustrated beautifully and not sketchy at all, I thought they were really
good books, perhaps I'll have to do some vectors from them hehe.
i cropped an image how is dat ripping? isn't dat the same as ripping a scan? are
you saying everyone dat has posted on minitokyo hasn't cropped at least a image
from someone elses wallpaper? i'm not trying to go against the system, and if i
did something to offend you i'm sorryt i created that wallpaper and at least i
had the honesty to tell were i cropped image and edited the image from, This is
my first time posting a wallpaper because i thought i try my hand at graphics
for arts' sake. I can't compare with the other guys when it comes to creative
design but at least give the little guys a chance. Cheers if you even bothered
reading this... i just hope you won't be so harsh on some peoples work.
thanks for your comment on my Sephiroth wallpaper. I don't know why but I've
never thought of the symbols as bothersome, on the contrary, I ve always thought
the vector was bad ( hate that vector ) and the brushes made it look better. I
guess I had to look at it from another point of view
... well anyway, thanks for your constructive criticism
Just a quick question, since you seem to be knowlegdeable about Green Glass -
does the artist/studio category known as Green Glass has anything to do with the
artist Tukiji Nao?
Quote by saikusaThe only circumstances to
submit a duplciate scan is if it is significantly superior. This means that is
must be considerably larger in size & quality.
However, with the case of the Haruhi scan it was only slightly larger. Slightly
larger to the point that it is highly suspicious and appears that you have taken
the original scan & enlarged it minimally in order to make it larger without
destroying too much of the quality.
Credits can not be gained in this fashion, and therefore scans must be
significantly larger if they are to be taken serioussly as a duplicate scan. So
in future to avoid suspicion, avoid submitting scans that are only fractionally
larger to avoid potential official warnings.
Ok. I understand what you said and I'm sorry. But when I first saw the other
guy's scan, it was around 2000x6000. He must have updated it while I was posting
mine. And my original scan (not really mine, but I mean the scan I have) is
4200x11600. I actually downsized it for the post.
Quote by saikusaYour description isn't
clear. Did you draw this or change the appearance o the CG art with your
computer to make it look like crayon?
I'm afraid I couldn't do that even if I wanted to do that, 'cause my Photoshop
skills are not that good. Thogh, I made my scanned drawing a little darker and
deleted all dirt from the surface of the paper with an eraser-tool. That's all
my computer interference.
Crayon-style drawing is my favourite. So, how can I prove my words? If you want
I can rescan my drawing whithout any editing in a larger resolution and send it
to you by e-mail. I'm ready for any co-operation. I wish I could send this
drawing to you by post... It
looks much more cute in nature, rather then in digital format. Anyway, thanks
for your comment

Thank you for the comment on "FLCL Artbook - 25"! I suppose it is rather spotty.
