Sorry for the grainess. Don't know how to make the animation less grainy when I save for web. :/

Heh, heh, curly hair I'm definitely afraid of (Star Shine Smile...*shiver*) but this means it'll take me longer to complete it. My quota to complete this will be about a month (and I'm going on a trip next Wednesday) so it may be longer than that. But it'll get vectored eventually, don't you worry. =3

Ooh, I can't blame you. XD It looks very pretty but it must be a real nigthmare when you make it. XD
Don't worry about time, I can wait. :D XD
Hope you'll have a good trip. ^_~

Quote by entity1660I'm so proud; the only one who uses my vectors! I'm just so happy...*blows nose* Fantastic wallpaper and I love how Lacus is positioned~! Favorite definitely, desu~!

Awww lol ^^ Thankies for the awesome comment <33
I love your vectors ;)
Can't wait for more <3

Quote by entity1660Oh, my, it's so cuuuuute, moon-san! <33 A tad big, though. But I guess I used to do that too. I like how the color came out, it's always good to use the eyedropper tool and then lower the color in the color range. That's what I do or you could always level the scan to make it lighter.

Never thought of that. ^_^' Maybe I should try that out on my next vector. Though I tried to make the scan brighter, but it didn't turn out well. Thanks for the advice, I priase them. **bows** XD

Quote by entity1660Oi, only I can do Gundam SEED vectors! Me! XD Just kidding, I still love your vectors. =3 I can see your problem about the colors. Have you tried to darken the image by leveling it? Just go to Image>Adjustment>Auto Levels. Or you can saturate the colors if they seem dull. That's what I do with most of my vectors. =3

Oooh, and I see some color leakage near Lacus's hair ends. >3

Thanks for the comment! Lol, well sorry, but there are a lot of Gundam SEED pics I wanna vector! It's my favourite series! Oh well, there are lots of pics to go around XD. Thanks for the advice, I'll try to fix it up (especially that colour leakage! I never noticed!) Glad you liked it anyways! Take care! ^_^

Quote by entity1660I have to try vectoring a chapter page one day...But I would need a color guide. Good job, I love the texture, and the crimson red background fits perfect. And the blood doesn't look so bad either. My only dislike is the shading of the hair. They should be a bit darker, at least I think so. Good job and favorite! <3

I tried to make the shading of the hair a bit darker, but it seemed to me that it looked a little better this way. I guess it's like this because I was afraid they wouldn't look too good since I had to make them myself and I wasn't sure if they look ok... ^_^'
I'm glad u like it anyway. :)

Thank you for your comment.
Let me explain. My vectors are artwork-based. It's a hobby of mine.

New strategy for me, learned something again :)

Quote:
And to explain the size, vectoring it at that size would be too difficult unless I did in Adobe Illustrator, which I didn't.

Oh ic... I thought it was done in Illus... So its another "semi-vector".

Quote: And viewing it that size would make the scan longer to load, espacially on older computers. So that is why I shrink my vectors.

With 3ghz PCs becoming cheap and wide use of broadband internet I think this is a bit outdated... :D
(Besides its the png/jpg format which makes vectors huge, but there seems to be no place for *.svgs or similar :( )

Quote by entity1660Awwww...that's okay, Kashi-chan, for using my background scheme. I know how hard it is to make backgrounds, believe me. XD
Oh, if that member who requested the vector ever comes back to the group, you can post this vector in a list like I do on my userpage. It's worth a try. =3
As for the vector, kudos to you for the yukata, because I dare not try vector another kimono-type scan unless I was extremely bored. Yay, yay, good job on this one!

Arigatou, arigatou. Domo arigaou gozaimasu! *bows, bws, bows with excitement*
First, for your comment and fav.
Second for forgiveness 'bout the bg.
Third for the idea 'bout the showing of completed projects on our site ^^
I'm happy you think the work's nice ^^

Quote by entity1660Vector demon here, to give you some advice, desu~!

For one, the jaggedness of the basketballs. Use the Elipitcal Marquee Tool and then Stroke it with 2px (right-click and select Stroke). Make sure to put this over another layer besides the outline to erase the intercepted lines.

To make the lines smoother overall, make the outline at double the scan's size, and then shrink it down again (Image Size>Bicubic Smoother in dropdown box).

To make a scan darker. Go to Image>Adjustments>Auto Levels to make the scan darker and leveled. If you wish to make the colors more vibrant, go to Hue/Saturation in the same bar to make the colors sharper, very good for washed out scans. Hope this advice helps you on your next vector. =3

thanks for all the advices! I will upload it with the advices you just told me as soon as my computer gets back to normal, it`s rather slow now ^^U

Hi there! I'm not sure if this is how you do it, but if you're free, can you vector THIS? I really like this scan but the quality is so low... T_T
I'm not sure if you'd consider all the curly hair a challenge, but I'm sure I'd never ever be able to vector it. >.<
Pretty please? :D

Hi Entity! Thanks for your fave and comment on my Haruhi vector! I really appreciate it! And thanks for the advice too ^_^. I did use "save for web", but then I set the filesize too big. Next time I'll fix it, or maybe I'll update the vector. Anyways thanks again, and good luck on all your vector projects! You are really amazing at it, and fast! Wish I could do it as well as you!

I have a very good idea of a wallpaper for his vector, believe that you did very well on having written in his vector to ask for permission to use his vector, my I would be charmed with creating a wallpaper, since in this last time I have been inactive. I assure him and wish that the result is very good for my creation
