your defense, you stated that a review is your opinion and that it is to be
accepted by anyone reading it which is correct.
But let me just state that a review in Minitokyo is also a recommendation. People view the review section
to look at what people have been seeing and also find out what they're missing
out on. Most of these people (I presume you're also included) tend to buy DVDs
or other forms of media to watch/read the title reviewed. Now this is where the
problem pops up.
Let's say you've got some spare cash and you'd like to spend it on an anime DVD.
You ask around to know what's new. You hit the net so go look for some nice
reviews and then you end up in Minitokyo's Review section. You browse around for
a while and then you see this review by somebody about Anime. You
read through the review that is constantly saying how fine the show is. You take
his word for it and you get the DVD. You pop it in your player and watched the
show in total regret as it was not to your liking. You end up feeling screwed
and lied to because you just wasted money on something that you didn't
like.
Has that ever happened to you? To cut things short, you should try to make a
review that is as much as possible objective. Just because you think a show is
great then everybody else would like it.
I'm not trying to discourage you in writing further reviews, I'm just trying to
give you some insights on the general purpose of a review.
I'd like see more from you, but maybe next time you could try creating a review
that everyone can agree on. You've got good word play,
y'know.
I thank you for your explanation. Don't worry, i'm not mad at anyone, i was just
a little incensed because i never expected that from anyone on MT but once you
explain it that way i get what you mean and what shoujoboy had really meant (if
only he had said it clearly like you did...ah well...). Since i get my anime for
free, i guess i didn't really get the concept of reviews because i thought it
was just a very long comment on what you thought of an anime. Clearly i was
wrong about that. But thanks for clearing this up!

Anyway, life's been going okay on me, it's just that there are a lot of things
to do, but i think i've started to get into the rythm, so i'll be able to get on
MT a bit more (like... on the week ends). Otherwise not much, i'm in neurology
now... you could say it's 'funny', given you have really some weirdos in there,
and those who have the uncontrolled movements / words (some have a 'frontal
syndrom' where you feel completely happy and you're always talk about sex /
dirty things ; some do the smurf / worm dance)... sometimes you really have to
stay real serious, doctor like, but all you want to do is laugh (even if it's
not funny ).
Anyway, that's about it. Hope it's been going okay for you too !

As I've stated clearly, the past 2 and so years have been a pleasurable time for

Why the sudden leap of activity from Flip to Mt-PHil?
I understand that you have a this situation with a certain someone at flip, but
to desert your comrades and jeopardize you're bond with co-members is absolutely
unnecessary. Yes, I know you have all the rights to do it but in doing so, don't
you feel a least bit regretful. Probably not seeing as you gracefully jumped
group without the least bit show of remorse.
