I think you have to balance the texture to make the blend look more realistic
and fake at the same time to match either's characteristics when you mix anime
with RL pics. I guess I am lucky to have captured the essence.

Technically everything in vector art that looses quality when resizing is called
"vexels". So both vectored/vexeled photos and traced anime images are
vexels.
I, however, don't dig into that stuff and call my works both vexels and
vectors.
I've seen people bitching about these terms but I see no big difference, it's
just a few letters :s

ment was that if it was bigger, than it would be something I could put on my
desktop, since I use a bigger resolution than 1024x786.
Second, I have tried walling small scans before and I know the pain of it.
Granted, I don't submit work to MT because I think what I make is utter crap and
I can't really wall anyways, I still have enough experience to say that I know
what it is like. There is only so much you can do with the given resolution and
I have to say that you did a great job considering the original scan size (which
I did not know btw).
Anyways, I just wanted to apologize, I didn't mean any harm at all. I was just
expressing that I really like your work, it's just that I felt it was too small
for me. Once again this is just my opinion of it so by all means. I love the
wall the way it is, I just wish it was bigger so I could have it on my desktop,

start with the facial details , and then I just design the character randomly .
what comes out , that's it , rofl . I never thought of a certain theme of so ^^;
(thus the difficulty in giving titles x___x;; ) but it's nice to draw after
getting inspiration from other artists :3 (I usually ogle arts from DA ) and don't
worry ~ u can draw like everyone else u look up to too , just don't give up and
practise lots (:
