you did a really great job here. The effort does show and all of those different
inking techniques look awesome. It does lool like you planned every detail and
created them with alot of care. You have a cool style. Please keep up the good
work Zefie.
hello FlowerDog !
thank you so much for your sweet somment on my d.gray-man drawing ~ i'm so happy
to hear you agree with my dad for the drawing being good ^_^ it sure took some
time to think how i would get the idea to be shown that some of the characters
are more on the back so had to think different inking ways, and it made me smile
when you said they look awesome ! really appreciate your support and thankies
for liking my style ~ you have really nice style too <3
thank you again for the comment and fav too ~ have wonderful and nice day !
Quote by FlowerDogHey, don't knock on
your painting skills beceause I think you are actually very good at it. I see
that you soften up the scan to match with the rest of the scenery and that was a
clever idea. It was your promise to yourself to put less things into your
wallpaper and you have done that well. Eventhough we aren't looking at alot of
details, the scenery is very stunning that it's just enjoyable to look at. I can
also focus looking at your painting skills, so that's a plus from me. Hey, I
just like it Devilet. Keep
it up.
I know I know xD I think it's a common artist thing to be so modest ... I see
many faults when most don't y'know. I'm glad the scene turned out good, I
appreciate your comment and favie, thank you!
Have a good day!

Just near the top end of the shirt where you can see three semi-spikey piece of
cloth hanging out. They just need to feel more curve-like to match the rest of
it. That's it from me, but you seriously did a nice job.
Mostly I don't like making critic statement because it feels too heartless
coming from me and I am sure you worked hard on it. I guess I feel guilty... so
it's okay to hit me. *Waits for hit*
You also take Naomi-chan!
*prepares to kick FD ass* mwuahahahaha here we go *evil grin*
*hugs instead of kicking* awww...you're so cute ^^, i'm not that mean :P
Wow, today i'm feeling really stupid O_O i asume you're talking about the right
side...i'll make them more curve-like later
Oh well...you don't have to feel guilty ^^'
Believe me...your comments are more valuable than the ones that say: "oh so
cute/cool/beautiful/awesome + fav"
DGM manga awaits me so take care
bye bye!
Quote by FlowerDogOh, that was one sexy
doujishi you vectored from. Very
nicely done and I see that you used your imagination to complete the rest of the
artwork, but... (it's not my place to say this) *Hides in a corner* The rest of
the bottom part of his shirt needs alittle work. The wild design doesn't feel
balance... *FD dies and goes to hell for saying that* I am sorry, but that's how
I feel. Besides that, you did a perfect job on everything else. Delicious job
Naomi-chan2612.

Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment on my work. My
heart skipped a beat reading the part were you suggest that my latest work
should be in HL. I do
always try my best and enjoy creating artwork. Hearing that was quite the honor.
Thank you so much asinine.
Please take care.
^.^
no problem...
It is really good
I look forward to see further works from you
Thank care hon
Quote by FlowerDog
You don't have to be sorry, besides no one is bounding you to reply. Thank
you for being thoughtful and for congratulating me on the HL. I
was in a shock about it and I still am...
I noticed your album and you certain do have a beautiful talent. Seems
like you already made a couple of masterpieces here. You have the skills to
become an illustrator for sure, though, it's pretty interesting to see that you
are studying product designing because you also have the talent for that as
well. I am a Fine Arts major and I plan on leaving my current college for
another one later on, but I still have some time to think about what I really
want to do with myself in the future. '
I guess we agree that flowers are amazing. You
have a very interesting way of looking at humans. I guess humans forgot the
ability to adapt and I don't seem to see too many people who are willing to make
changes lately too.
I will work hard on my next artwork and I am certainly looking forward to yours
when you have some free time on your hands.
Please stay in good health (that's your million dollars there ) and
enjoy your studies kokuyu.
hi!
oh, actually i've the habit of doing things as soonest as possible so i don't
really like to delay. (my first assignment 5 months ago gave me real hard
headache when i postponed it....another work emerged if i ever do
that!)
emm....so this is really your first artwork being highlighted? if so, then you
have achieve well in perfecting your skills... from
your gallery, your highlighted masterpiece stands out among the rest (big
difference! ).
i remember when one of my artwork was listed as elite item (my first! ) last
month, i too felt very shocked and disbelief (& a night of sleepless) that i
can achieve that. but the point i should consider now is 'before and after i
attend the art university' [i didn't like my university at first, as the
environment there was too culture shocking to me, a drastic change of life from
my previous school]. therefore, i felt greatly indebted to my lecturers for
teaching me some precious skills which i had longed wanted to. (before, i drew
occasionally; sometimes feeling frustrated when i couldn't create what i wanted
to)
besides drawing, i do build replicas, mainly from cardboards. only once i did
made a samurai costume for my school's contemporary costume
competition>>http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o220/kokuyu/3.jpg.
that took me nearly 2 weeks and the half to be completed.
nevertheless, i'm still facing some difficulties in painting. somehow, these
paints don't mix well...worst will be when it's all in mess!
i see...that should be a fantastic course. with that you can venture into almost
any artistic careers. however, i'm already so nervous now as my course will
eventually bring me possibly into a big company (many design companies are
giants , and high pressures are a norm there). i wish i could be in anime
career but my skills in drawing moving objects just don't make it at all.
^^'
.......it's just my philosophical thoughts, though i dislike reading
philosophy. thus, i prefer common everyday thoughts (some sort of observation
& analysis on lifestyle events)
sure, i will wait for your next masterpiece. btw, i've scheduled my latest
doujinshi to be submitted on 13th July 2007. i still need more time as it
involves my most favourite singer (drawn in anime chibi-style) in it (one
mistake and i'm vveerryy guilty ). in
additional, that date hold some meaningful event to me.
yep, i will. same to you too. my class will be re-open tomorrow~ thanks very
much
oh, one more....something caught my eyes.....*clicks to favourite*
Quote by FlowerDogHi eunasahng-sama.
*Bows with respect* Love to thank you for the HL. It was a surprise and I really
appreciate that you find my latest work to be accepted as a HL. I
just feel very honored. *Bows again* Thank you.
I hope you take care and have an enjoyable weekend too.
It was your awesome work that deserved it. No need to thank me =D Keep up the
great work ^_^
PS - there's no need to call me eunasahng-sama. It sounds odd. Just call me
Euna.
As much as I enjoy creating weird stuff, I enjoy reading your thoughtful comment
even more. (That's just my way of saying, "Thank you
Kokuyu.")
The artwork took me atleast 2 weeks to finish because I had to do alot of home
cleaning (my role in my family) and had to focus on college stuff too. I think I
spend more time doing the shading, since I don't have alot of materials to make
it easier for me to create those details.
Hahah! The title almost means as it is. I guess it came from me noticing the urban life style around me. The air is
not so clean and there is hardly any room for plants to grow. I am always amazed
by the sight of a tree or flower. They are rare in my neighborhood and the
people don't seem to care that they are there. I also have to believe that the
plants I see are strong because they can live under those conditions. One
wouldn't think that something so delicate like a flower could live in a dirty
place.
The second part of the title, "but they aren't edible", I was just
being stupid. Most flowers can't be eaten right away and that's just a fact.
I notices that you are an illustrator yourself. Must
keep a close eye on your future works. :3
Thank you again Kokuyu. I
hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you and hope you also stay in good
health.
hello, flowerdog~
sorry for late reply
......i shouldn't be giving excuse here...but lately since school's re-opening,
i've no choice but to be temporary 'hung-up'
you're welcome~ btw
too, i do love creating deviant stuff which at the same time too a 'food for
thought'. such will surely be a true masterpiece
oh, one more.... congratulations for your masterpiece being highlighted!
^^V
yeah, i can see it too. as the world getting more corrupt with so many crisis,
humans yet are trying for short-cut escapes, whom some can't endure it toughly.
amazingly, plants have suit every means to fit the ever-changing world (but why
can't we?). shame on us! it clearly shows we must not change the nature or the nature will change
us.....
yep, i agree too. but perhaps there's something related to your doujinshi if
with the 'but they aren't' words. i guess you need another word to replace the
'edible' one.
teeeheeee.....actually some flowers can be eaten. for example, chrysanthemum,
which can be made as cooling drink too ^^
emmm.......i'm not really an illustrator, though i always have the ideas (that
makes my arts look like cover book illustrations). i'm currently studying
product design [second semester of first year] in my local art university, so
it's all attributed to my lecturers for enhancing a big change in my skills
thanks very much for watchlisting me. i must keep my eyes wide open for your
next artworks too :3
you're very welcome. best wishes for your future ahead & an good health
always~
Quote by o0beginner0owoah!, great
job on the drawing, i guess the tittle really is quite random haha, i really
like the shading you did on this 1. the background is really detailed and what i
like the most is the hair...yes, why the hair *lol* i just really like the
lining and the lighting effects i guess
it's a +fav from me
Sometimes I wish I could express my thanks more than just saying, "Thank
you", but I don't have anything to give and I would love to thank you more.
I am very grateful that you really like the hair because I enjoy drawing hair
and you saying that really touched me deeply. Thank you so much o0Beginner0o.
You have a very interesting looking gallery here. I am going to check it out
now.
Please, take care and have a wonderful week ahead of you.
haha, no problem, your works are amazing, to the watchlist you go!
Thank you so much for faving my latest artwork. I am very grateful that you like
it.
Please have a wonderful week ahead of you.
You are welcome
Well thanks for saying my name was cute
It's actually a name from my own anime but i still have problem with it ...
So hope to see more of ur art/masterpiece in the future
Hope see you again
Quote by FlowerDogThis is really
beautiful and love the calm-like atmosphere you got going on in this wallpaper
of yours. Your vector is quite impressive. I
am wondering if it would be interesting if the PhotoShop could get that same
coloring textures and lighting as the original artwork. Nah, I think I like it
the way it is. It's perfect, but I would like to see the little blue-whites
light thingies in your wallie.
(Don't listen to that suggestion, I am being a R-tard right now. )
Overall, wonderful job Devilent.
Oh, thank you thankies x3 Hmmm, well for one I would of liked to replicate the
feeling from the original, but I'm not a very painty person, new to this xDD
Also I wouldn't want it to be copied too much, eheheh, even though it's lovely
in itself. Haha, you ain't retarded, no worries, thanks so much! and for looking
at my other gallery items. No problem about you being slow.

Yeah, I am usually busy, but I try to make the effort to get to my messages and
look around MT as fast as I could (which is slow). I agree that the pen tool takes forever to work with, but why not try out the
brush tool instead to do the lineart? You might find it easier to use.
yep, i actually used a 4 px brush there in ps. though i forgot to turn on the
dynamics -i think they say that's important, and i was too lazy to do some
tapering with the lines..
