Well, Lacus is definately improved from last time, but it could still be better.
Basically what starliteangel says is what I would say too.

And also remember that nothing is just one color, but a mix of colors. For example, our skin has green pigments in it. Brown is dominant, but there is red and green and blue in it as well, so when you color, don't forget about those things. And also remember that light can alter the way we see things. Such as a sunset has orange light, it will make other things more orange too. So sometimes blending weird colors together actually makes a more realistic looking picture.

Haha, I actually used the colour balance to give orangish colours, but now it didn't fit the character. I hate to update again, but it's for the contest...so I'm gonna try to add more details on the character. Too tired to smudge, and smudge again..urgh!

Thanks! Yup, Chinese paintings are pretty (my grandfather does some amazing painting...). Heh, yeah my normal handwriting isn't the neatest either (in fact many people can't even read it ) The mountains I actually did on a whim, 'cause I wasn't sure what to put for the background (I'm generally not good at backgrounds...)

Thanx, that's very insightful. It was my older sister that told me that.
It kinda started like this:
I first showed her my techniques for drawing so that she could use them for her art work and now she thinks she's a better artist, I hardly draw, but every time i do i notice i've gotten a lot better. I assume it has to do with visualization and how you convey art to be. I honestly don't know what's wrong with her.
Either way i sometimes make different the drawings i make to follow my taste. I'm going to scan some of them as soon as i get a scanner and then maybe you'll do the honors of judging. Thanx again!^_^

a screen shot of it should be next to the word "epic" in the dictionary. I shed tears of joy when I got epona on that game. MM was just..bleh for me, not bad, but nowhere near as good as OoT. The whole times constrictions thingy was a turn off.
