are obvious signs of enlargement
*bows* But take my word for it, that second scan is definitely enlarged- just
from the looks of the pixels on the right which really stand out. The background
is squared as I mention, so you can take my word for it
When I started out making wallpapers I had trouble figuring out what was good
quality and bad quality- but at the end of the day, it's quite simple- check
that all gradients are smooth (like how I mentioned with the skin- if there are
blocks of colour that don't seem to go smooth, it might be enlarged or poor
quality- taking into account the Final Fantasy art style, by the way because
their colouring in is VERY hq compared to many artists I know ) and that
all lines are smooth. No squares, and if there are line breaks in the lines (as
in the line fades out and starts again in some places), make a proper judgement
of whether or not the lines look fuzzed (enlarged, therefore spaced out) or if
the original artwork was like that (many manga scans are like that, so check out
the fuzziness and crispness).
Depending on how many low quality scans (blurred, compressed wrongly etc) people
will get warnings- so it's not just enlarged scans.
Many people are arty and blur their enlarged scans (to soften the harsh pixels),
but they will get warnings and restrictions too :3 http://support.minitokyo.net/policy/

warnings.
Members get restricted on their second warning, unless they were really really
bad the first time and flood the galleries or something like that
As for submitting HQ scans in the Anime Pictures Dump: yes, you may.
But take into account that once you get unrestricted, someone might have taken
your scan and submitted it into the gallery to earn the 4 reward credits So
it's up to you if you would like to share them or not
One thing I can suggest though, is that you can downsize your scans to a size
less than 1000 000 pixels, and post them in the Dump. When you're unrestricted,
you can then post the originals (larger than 1000 000 pixels) into the gallery
:P Unless you don't mind others taking your scans
And don't ever hestitate to ask me questions If I can
answer them (when it comes to quality checks and stuff, I definitely can) I
will, and if I can't, I will definitely refer you to someone who can help
The Advent Children scan had obviously been enlarged. It's a film famous for
it's high quality computer generated art. The strands of Yazoo's hair in that
scan were not fine and realistic, they were all jagged and showed clear signs of
having been enlarged. You seriously need to watch the film again if you think it
looked anything like that scan you submitted.
The second warning and restriction still stand. And I will not read any more
PMs.
