well, I guess it is a matter of environment, I believe that simply by telling people that on general, it looks alright, what is wrong is the fact that it is not this one that matters, that brush looks great and all that.
My improvement itself was based on critique like this, it was such that I developed where my skills are today. I certainly do not find myself in the most finesse position to comment like an expert. But again, what is a critic to do? other than critic that is.

I can see where you are coming from, it looks like one can have a preference for comments. I certainly do not assume that you have low quality on the work itself, remember that what I mention was that the woman was slap on top of the main layer. I did not critique on the main layer because likewise, that one main layer shows effort, albeit however it doesn't quite come off as really beautiful, so my comment encircles on the fact that contary to the background, the woman was really stock, it shows no effort in incorporating it to the sig itself. Hence why I commented such. In general, when at the starting, I too take comments this way, and so you see, perhaps one may take offence, others may extract its meaning until a better comment comes along.

I do not consider myself great (my rating at NSL is medium excel, the best is Godly, about 10 levels above mine and the worst is noober than noobs approx 8 levels below mine ) I will consider your advice and try helping more, perhaps however by then, I may become too soft for words lol.

I started the group, I did not crown myself admin, nor did I think i am all cool and powerful and all wonderful in sigmaking, like you, I also once think the way you do. It is best to leave pride behind artwork and think openly.

of course, individual opinions all come in all sorts of forms, you may have a different view of it all that is the case.
