English as in grammar, punctuation, etc., or as a separate class? I understand
about learning French up to 9th grade (I wish we had that in the U.S.A.,
especially in elementary school, since we learn about the culture, and
learn-hopefully-understanding, since we get so judgemental as we get older; most
of us, anyway *Ends my own rant.* Sorry! ).
Saturday School's a requirement for you? Wow, over here, it's a form of
detention! From what I know, the ones who have it don't do much, except for
homework, read, or something else (can't listen to music, though). I agree, it's
good to learn a lot of languages, not just your native one, so communication is
easier between the nations.
If we were all ourselves, we'd hate or love everyone else more, since we'd know
them better-what do you think?
/omg command *XD*
I've done it twice! The first time, i closed and ereased my writing and the
second time, it loaded!
Well, *tries to remember what i wrote*
English is one class with all English elements [Shakespeare, reading, writing,
blah blah], French is the same thing as above. Everything together and grouped.
French isn't as hard because it is like learning English (different language) in
a lower grade. We learn about reading, culture, we aren't too worried about. We
work by the credit system (Grades 9 - 12, you have to have 32 credits by the end
of high school. 8 credits by the end of each year and you can get extras so you
can get "spares", [free periods]. We have to have 4 English, 2 Math +
1 senior math, 2 science, 1 French -> grade 10-12 must have an extra language
[French, Spanish, another language {Saturday school, summer school, whatever}
and a whole bunch of others) *Cools down* Well, all the stuff is pretty much
grouped together.
Saturday school isn't a requirement but is something that you have to take IF
you were to take another language during school/night school/summer school. Your
choice. Ouch, sounds like you guys sit for detention on a SATURDAY. That has got
to hurt your free time because you are doing stuff that you don't want to do on
your own free time and the teachers'.
Better to learn languages which enchance your abillities to travel and speak
with others/write. Sometimes, the language can catch you off guard by having a
different form of sentence by saying the same thing still. Weird.....
Sorry, i don't understand the last question you asked
Well, good luck and have fun
Kyuoto
Dear Kyuoto,
My apologies; I saw that you said "just be yourself", and I went with
that-I have a habit of picking apart something someone says/writes, and using
that, either to start a conversation, or if I'm arguing, I turn it back on
someone (I'm a language nerd! ); I doubt
we'll get into an argument, though...
.
For us, Saturday school's one option; the other one is to stay after school for
however many hours we've accumulated (1 detention we serve equals two hours of
detention we've earned). Thankfully, I've never dealt with Saturday School. I'd
love to have that for another language, though! (I should suggest that to my
teacher...).
I agree with you about the language thing; the informal vs. formal way to say
things-whoa-and the whole thing with moving different parts of the sentence
around .
Take care,
~"TreaGirl".

coming along sooner or later. I'm still doing good though. How about
you?
Kyuoto
*Working on math problem*
Same here, I have a lot of homework... and we just had a school dance, so I'm
tired... stayed up after I got home=bad idea!
I'm well, thanks for asking; the stage crew thing for a theatre performance at
school starts for me this week, so I'm looking forward to it! Anything you're
looking forward to?

Haha. Well, homework is going to get us all! I don't
think it would be a good idea to sit back. Well, we shouldn't stay up too
late.
Thats great. Stage crew sounds really fun, i've seen people at work doing stage
crew stuff and some other crazy stuff Anything
specific that you are going to do? I think you could do some back stage
performing Well, good luck with it.
Yea.....i'm looking toward my biology quiz and math test tomorrow. Well, NOT.
Right now, i'm looking forward to the weekend......but even then, stuff to do
Hope you have cool things to do! Talk to you later (stupid homework and
tests)
Cheers, Kyuoto
I agree, tests are annoying, even though they do test us on our knowledge, and
how much we've retained, it's still so stressful!
The stage crew thing, though, I don't even know what to do about, since the
theatre teacher said he'd call me over the weekend with the specifics, though he
didn't call all through the three day weekend we had, then I find out he's sick
and talking to one of his mentors of the teaching business today, so now, he
wasn't even in school! I don't know whether to throw some throat lozenges at
him, or random, sharp and pointy things at him when I see him again! The worst
of it is that it's in two or three days, and even though it's mainly a sedentary
set, he didn't even explain that much when I asked him about it earlier in the
month!
Adults are interesting creatures, aren't they?
Anyway, enough of my complaining; I wish you luck on your tests, and your
homework-which reminds me, I have to work on some stuff for school, myself!
Take care,
~"TreaGirl".

I don't want to rant too much about it is that, we aren't being marked "in
life" because the main goal is to keep living So, yea,
homework is stressful. Well, even the olden days are hard. I'd like to live like
that for a while. Seems fun.....to some extent.
Stage crew is pretty fun. I've seen it in action and it seems interesting. You
get to run around, you do some other crazy stuff too. Like the lights, the
curtains (don't let it fall on you! ) Stage crew
requires some work where you run around and stuff so get training!
Sick teacher going to mentors. Great....i think you might want to throw blunt
objects at him. You don't want to make him bleed to death
because you won't be able to go to stage crew Question
until his mouth bleeds! *Holds fist upward and shakes*
Adults? Interesting because they are similar to teenagers and children in many
ways
Like, we all want to be young again If everyone
wants to be young, then who will be the old one?
Well, it is like trying to understand what love, life and other things are.
Complaining is what we do best and
thats what we always do! Well, i hope you finish your stuff and i wish you luck
too.
If you want help with something, i'll be here and you can ask *Thumbs
up* Even though i'm not that smart......
Take care and cheers,
Kyuoto
P.S. Holy cow.....long paragraph i wrote
Yay, I'm making your write more!
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem I'll be able to help him with crew, since the
aforementioned homework's killing me! Thankfully, he understood (even if he's a
bit out of it, he really is a good person as a whole), and I do apreciate your
offer to assist me with whatever it is I need help with *hugs*. Earnestly, I
thank you. Seriously, I think you're quite intelligent.
Who'll be the old ones? Well, my family thinks I've an "old soul" so
I'm first to volunteer!
I think your assesment of life as a whole (we all want to be young, again) is
interesting-getting older is a bit scary; we learn about so much more than we
may be able to handle... yikes!
Okay, random question for ya: Are you required to learn a specific language in
school? For us (people at my school), we have to learn either French (Oui, j'ai
un classe du francais/I have a French class), German, or Spanish.
Take care,
~"TreaGirl".

Yea, yea, i'm writing a lot more. Funny how i don't write a lot often. Sounds
like some class that you take . I don't
usually write so much, but it's okay. Homework, homework, homework. I suppose
thats what life ends up as....job, work, home. Rinse and repeat. Life seems so
boring that way and all this stuff about how you "need" a job is
stupid.....*ends rant* Sorry, anyways, if the person understands, then that is
good. As long as he understands about how much work you have to do. After all,
"acedemics come first" as teachers say.......*wants to debate again
* I do
like helping. It feels good. If you ever want help, you could pm/email me. I'm
not that smart . I just try and help out whenever possible.
Old? Old?!? OLD?!?!?! You're 16! That isn't old unless you are comaparing to a 1
year old. Old soul, traditionists, old styles, blah, blah, are great. Just that
they don't always excite the newer generations but they give a nice feel or
meanie (not everything does ) If
you have an old soul, that makes me sound ancient (considering that you are
older by months) because i like old traditions.
As we ALL get older, we want to be younger. it brings back lots of memories, so
we always want to stay young. Don't worry about being older. It isn't that bad.
Be yourself.
Yes, we have to learn English. On top of that, learn French up to grade 9. After
that, we have to learn an extra language OR something else. You can learn other
languages if you want but you have to go to Saturday school and that other
stuff. Good to learn many languages because you can speak to everyone
It seems that my writing gets longer and longer.......
Don't stress out too much, cheers,
Kyuoto

is hard to do because of your time restrictions and all this other load of crap

true, i agree..patience is very valuable because situations change so much with
