I love the concept behind this work. Yes. All these while we've only been doing
the 'happy' side of christmas, and somehow neglected the 'other' side of it.
Although it's quite simple, the presentation and message conveyed is definitely
strong. I love this one.
Although the texture on the character's coat does look a little strange as a
coat... maybe lower the opacity of the texture or use other much more subtle
textures like leather would be better. But putting that aside, this is a very
great work. ^^

Hey I think I really love how you've done it with your tablet. The colouring
looks cool, just like those manga colourings you usually see in manga.
But for some reason there's also something I didn't like. But I really don't
know how to say it to you though... but I do have to agree with you the
shattered glass... doesn't seem to look like a glass at all.
But overall, it's a really great wall. I love the painting.

-- I asked Wapy to come up with a funny banner for the 'Tips' project, to liven
things up... and she accepted, yes! Hopefully, we'll hear from her soon, and
that she doesn't get bogged down in real life, too. ^^^
-- dothaithanh sent me his tips via PM some time ago, and wishes he had the time
to make it more like a full tutorial or something. I asked if it's ok for me to
post his tips on the thread or if it's ok that he does so himself, but it seems
he is really is busy at the moment since I haven't heard from him.
-- I finally answered KOKUJINDESU's PM, about how problematic is it to scan in
traditional artwork and make it look good. *crosses fingers* Hope he replies...
it took me two weeks to get back to him.
-- Other stuff we're deficient at are in the latest post on the thread itself.

It's a really great anime I love it!
Lol. Yeah, angst, serious butt-kicking scenes. I nearly suffocated but thank

Yay! Paku Romi's great. I really admire her deep voice. I can't imagine her
voice at all when I look at her pic.

Don't worry. I dislike the ending too. (how on

Not just good, it's also very clear and strong, very nicely done. The hair is

Though there's a little imbalance in the drawing of the eye... especially the
right one, not much gap over there compare to the left one. But nevertheless,
it's an excellent drawing, kyo!

Nah.. don't think the coconut leaves are random, it looks good. At least the

The sky is pretty good too. The scan is nicely extracted, which rmeinds me it's
been quite a while since I last extracted a scan. (And my list of upcoming walls
has nothing to do with extracting a scan at all )
Though I think the source of light doesn't go quite well with the shadows in the
whole wall though. The light shones from the back of the character, the but the
lights seems clearer from the front.

Forum. We believe that this project will be a big boost to support independent

All you doujin artists out there, whether
you're in other MT doujin groups or going solo, are happily welcomed to post
your own tips and ideas here! Don't worry about your poor/bad English; we'll try
to understand one another, ne? Your tips will be greatly anticipated and
appreciated.
I did consider anjhu and peggy to join up as editors, but I hesitated because I
already know peggy is busy with the layout-DSC and anjhu is trapped with
figuring out how to make the Special Displays work and both I bugged with this
other thread-thing I had in mind, one asking "What kind of support do you
doujin artists want?" ... Anyway, please do invite them or anyone else. I
just had a good feeling that you and fireflywishes are willing to take on this
project, so that's why you two were the first people on my mind.
