Quote by tuxedotservoYou're back in the States? Yay ^.^
Maybe I can finally catch you on AIM sometime without it being insanely late at night/early in the morning ^.^

Yea! Just got here a few weeks ago. I miss Japan... And I'm using AIM again, so watch out for me! :-D

Quote by tuxedotservoMissed your work ^.^
Even if you aren't completely happy with it, I love it ^.^ That background has a surreal feel to it that I can't quite explain.
About the only thing is the chin seems a touchy pointed, but really, small deal.
I'd love to know what she's thinking ^.^

Aww thanks so much :) I'd like to know what she was thinking when I drew this too haha. I didn't really give much thought about it at that time since I was listening to a song and I just drew her expression to what I felt fit the song the most... and I just went from there. Often my drawings lose meaning as I work on them for longer and longer periods of time... I guess looking at the same thing gets old and tiring... so yeah... anyway thanks for the comment and fav once again! :)

Hey, long time no see. Wanted to come by and thank you for the comment. Its really not as bad as it looks. lol but anyway, take care

Quote by tuxedotservoThis is simply gorgeous. And here I thought doujinshi on here was becoming a lost form ^.^
Super detail - and what would probably be a really accurate of Skuld "brought to life" - if you will.
The lack of clothing isn't really a concern to me, as you did a great job of not only covering what needed to be, but also presenting it in such a way where the nakedness isn't really the point.
Great, right down to the sparkle in the eye.
Will have to wander over to your gallery now ^.^

Hello,

Thanks for the kind comment and the fav. Glad you appreciate my work.

Thanks again,
Michael

Quote: I fav'ed this. I can't really put a finger on why I like it (cute? simple yet, not?). I just saw it and thought "I really like this."
Wish I could give more ^^; Sometimes, the simple ones *are* the best.

Hi. First off, sorry if I'm a little late on this. Wow. O.O Thanks a lot for the comment, and the fave, and the watchlist. ^^ You have already given enough. Really. Thank you very much. See ya.

Quote by tuxedotservoCute ^.^

Did you freehand this, or was there a reference pic? (doesn't matter either way - I'm just curious). Clean, crisp look to it.

I had a reference actually, and I edited some of the pose in the pic and added the teddy bear! :D

Gel-chan XD

ohayou, tux-san! :D

Quote: I remember either the original scan or a wall of this. It's one of my favorite non-doujinshi type images.

You did a great job capturing the essence of the girl, I think.
Frilly details - shading - everything is there. Great work.

thanks very much! i'm glad someone has recommended the image; i've always thought how it would turn out if i copy it.. :D i really enjoyed the clothing best! <3

Quote: You have a great talent for capturing depth with your sketches. A very nice "3d" effect from the variance in shading. The hand does feel like it is stretching toward me ^.^

thank you very much! :) i had informal training on portraits and realism.. my hp is in the hp link in my userpage.. ^_^' that's how i was able to incorporate the 3d effect.. from what i noticed - professional anime compositions are all based on realism technique but much simple.. :D

Just a few cosmetic things - I haven't seen the original on this, but the face "blush" seems heavy, a bit. I dunno. Just something I noticed. Overall, however, I really like it.

i really appreciate you having gone to my gallery and comment on them and the faves! :)

ki o tsukete kudasai! XD

Quote: Yay - an original ^^

I really like it. It's not excessively complicated (which can be distracting, at times). The girl is cute, and the little wings are a nice touch ^^

As always, your shading is superb. I like that she's casting a shadow, and it's not overly "stark" ...

yeah.. it's still baby steps for me for these originals... i'm too critical of them actually.. x_x so i guess, i'll go with simpler concepts for now.. ^_^' domo arigatou - tux-san! :D

Hi thanks for the watch! XD will return it~ :)

Quote by tuxedotservoMerry Christmas to you, too ^^

Though you really didn't need to point out how cold I am ^^; I'll keep in mind how warm and cozy you are, while I'm shoveling snow.

(Kanashimi also means something else, if I remember - something like an ill-destined child or the like. It's been a long time).

("Kanashimi" means "sorrow" - the reason my imouto picked the name was... a really long story that's kind of silly. ^_^' Let's just say she liked how it sounded and the fact tht it was in almost every Japanese song known to man)

*points at you and laughs as you shovel snow* Wanna cookie?

Quote by tuxedotservo(but I would like a cookie - what do you have?)

I've got... gingerbread, butter spritz, mac-nut chocolate chip, aaaaaaand... linzer (those german butter cookie sandwiches with jam in the middle). (*^.^*) I did a lot of backing this year... ^_^'

Hmmm. Gingerbread is holiday traditional (though I don't really know what they have in Germany this time of year). So I'll go with gingerbread for now, thank you.

Lots of baking, hmm? Are you good at it? Be honest ^^

Without bragging - yes, i'm good. Pretty damned good. (*^.^*) Been cooking on my own since about age 7.
