Aww thanks so much I'd like to know what she was thinking when I drew this too haha. I didn't really give much thought about it at that time since I was listening to a song and I just drew her expression to what I felt fit the song the most... and I just went from there. Often my drawings lose meaning as I work on them for longer and longer periods of time... I guess looking at the same thing gets old and tiring... so yeah... anyway thanks for the comment and fav once again!

thank you very much! i had informal training on portraits and realism.. my hp is in the hp link in my userpage.. that's how i was able to incorporate the 3d effect.. from what i noticed - professional anime compositions are all based on realism technique but much simple..

("Kanashimi" means "sorrow" - the reason my imouto picked the name was... a really long story that's kind of silly. Let's just say she liked how it sounded and the fact tht it was in almost every Japanese song known to man)
