Hey thanks! Well, I haven't been in the MT kingdom for quite a while. Gomen! ^_^'

Hey, you're userpage is very pretty, especially the fonts! I still haven't figured out how to make my own page look like that, I mean, I have a ton of photos and images, but I'm a little vague on the know-how. Hope you could help me( even though we're both fairly new... ^_^')with these. I'm still short on the time factor, but it's October, so, can't really do anything about it schedule-wise. Also, I just browsed through your scans, and I can see why you've received a lot of faves, ne?

My preference in art? Well, I'm not really good at drawing ( you'll get a personal look at how...er, weird I draw :nya:, when I manage to scan some artworks...)but personally, I really love doujinshi and anime artwork. Specific visual artists..hmm, the list would include Tetsuya Nomura( he's really good...and that is still understated ^_^'), Kia Asamiya, Hiroaki Samura, Norman Rockwell, Joe Madureira, Hayao Miyazaki and Katsuhiro Otomo( whew...still many more left unmentioned ^_^'). I also like portraits( though I don't know if I can do them...) and landscape paintings. As of now, I'm really finding the art style of Manglobe, especially Ergo Proxy and Samurai Champloo, very expresiive and dynamic. If I'm someone more talented, maybe I'll draw on that as inspiration :).

Actually, the reason why I'll be irregularly active for maybe the next couple of weeks are...complications at home. Hopefully, things will be alright pretty soon. That's why I'm kinda distracted right now. But, anyway, having someone to talk to( besides my friends here at the uni, who are very supportive ), even though that someone is half a world away definitely takes some load off. Hope to talk to you again. Take care. :)

" Tell me about sorrow..."--Houko Kuwashima, from " Shinkai no Kodoku "

Hmm... actually i am not exactly new here XD ... and this stuff about coding isnt one that i am not familiar with....

about the codings.... for starters just add this to your userpage content:
<style type="text/css">

body {
font-color: 000000;
font-family: Century Gothic;
font-size: 10px !important;
background-color: ;
background-image: url();
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top left;
background-attachment: scroll;
border-color:171717;
border-width:5px;
border-style:solid;
}
</style>

Hop that will start you off ^_^
Lol actually i am faintly surprised that my scans got quite popular... partly because there has been a scan galore in MT since the introduction of credit reward for every scan submission ^_^

Well i must say you really know your artist well :D i may recognise the artist but i never will remember the name that is how awful i am >_< Likewise i dont have a specific visual artist so i wont go on naming those few... Well as to what i used to draw.... well i pretty much vector sometimes and also submit some doujitsu... as for walling... haiz i never like the tutorials and especially the brushes....i can go around in circles finding them XD

Well ditto for me but just that my complications are really confined in the home and my computer is always beside me XD But i do bid you good luck on the complications you are facing and also do take care of yourself.... lots of people got carried away with their problems thus neglecting themselves <_< Oh yea that is what i like about here... you can talk freely and also people here listen to what you are saying ^_^ No matter how boring it may sound XD

Well i will go off too ^_^
Till another time and hope to talk to you too :D
and keep those reviews coming in XD
Take care!

Hi again!

Although currently, I have a few..ummm, problems at home as well as maintainance of the hectic schedule, thus altering my plans for improving my user page( actually, I want it to look even halfway as good as yours ^_^'), as well as adding at least one entry to the gallery( I usually did some doujinshi and mecha sketches back when I was in high school, though I can't do it as often as I used to...), so it won't look so bare XD. Hopefully they won't get rejected when I finally submit them, as I'm not really talented at visual artistry( if it was piano or Badminton....maybe ^_^'). I also think that your doujin sketches are really something! You're only sxteen, so it has even more time to improve. Hmmm, maybe someone who's " wasting away at school "( that was also my case when I was in junior high, as well as my friends...hehe...sick) will become an animator, who knows? :D They would look even better if you color them with Photoshop or Corel. I also noticed that you really know your quotes.

Ahhh, as usual, I'm blabbing again. That comes with being so enamored with Psychology... ^_^' Hope to hear from you, and of course there's my old adage that says, " I'll keep in touch! " Oh, and I'm adding you to my friendlist if you don't mind. ^_^'

Well, im glad you like my userpage! I did make using the html editor tool. I'm happy to know that my efforts aren't going unoticed!

Its been awhile since i last submitted some dojin and original artwork, and if you compare my new stuff to my old stuff, you'll be amazed. I've definatly come a long wayin a short period of time. Because the one thing i want to do is go to an art college and get a degree in animtion, then im gonna open my own studio that makes the first, great american anime! So good, you'll think its really from Japan. Only problem, i cant really draw guys yet, just cute little girls... I need to get a good program like photoshop to paint as well.

I think i will put up some of my new stuff soon, so look out for that!

I'll also add you to my friends list. Have a great day! Hope to hear from you again!

Quote by meanderEvangelWaahh, you caught me there ^_^'. I'm also a huge Evangelion fan, what with the flood of psychology with relation to it :).
My favourite character is actually Misato Katsuragi, with Toji Suzahara and Gendou Ikari( dunno, but I kinda like this crazy man :nya:)following closely behind. I also happen to be a fan of Johann Sebastian Bach's music( actually, his compositions are the ones which I really practiced back when I was in Junior High ), and classical music as a whole.

We also have a something in common when playing RPGs. I also die a lot, and it happens mostly when I think I've already leveled up a little too much for a given day and then I get cocky and, as a result, end up battling some monsters in the game that are way more powerful that the current stats of my characters. It also happened a lot when I was playing FF8 ^_^'. I actually battled the Omega Weapon for the first time, and it took about forty minutes! :nya:

Nee, you're from Pennsylvania, so I guess we just about live in the same neighborhood :nya:. Hope to talk to you again and good luck with your studies. Take care. :D

" I'll be okay without you sis. I'll be alright by myself..."--Squall Leonhart at the Centra Orphanage

Wow you wrote a lot. You have weird tastes in characters, although I could see it. My personal favorites are Rei and Shinji (ya, I'm boring). I also played Bach when I did piano, but I didn't like its use in End of Eva, it felt kinda...I dunno, grotesque. I loved Pachebel's Canon though and that music that played during the intermission of Death and Rebirth, although I can't find it anywhere.

When I die in RPGs, it's usually because I'm a little extreme in my leveling up. I like pushing my characters to their limit with as little health aids as possible, so they usually end up dying after like 3 hrs of leveling up from a minor minion. The boss battles are normally farily breezy for me though.

"Around the neighborhood" haha!

Oh yeah, you're 18, are you in college?

Quote by meanderEvangelNeee! This looks like a very interesting club! I'd certainly love to join and add some original stories. I'm usually a fan of those weird mixture of sci-fi, romance and action( the reason is beyond me ^_^'...). Anyway, I've seen the doujinshi gallery and must say that it is very good indeed. My, what a gathering of talented people. Hopefully when I get the chance to scan my drawings they'll be at par with the current submissions.

I'll keep in touch regarding the group activities and of course, do my best to improve an already unique and ingenious community.
Wish you more of the best, everyone! Ganbarimasu! :D

Hi, im a member of the story club too, and i noticed in your post that you liked to write mixtures of scifi romance and action! That's one of my favorite genres to write in too! This is cool! Im glad i found someone with similar intrests as myself. I'll look forward to your works, and i'll be sure to post some of my better works myself as well. Hope you have a great time in the club, and i'll see you around! Have a grea day!

Quote by meanderEvangelHello there! Thanks for welcoming me to MT, and for the reminder of course!( bows japanese-style :D)

Wow, you've got a lot of posts, and i'm finding them very interesting, especially in the Science and Religion department. I'm actually planning on posting something for that section, although I see that there are quite a number of heated discussions( shields face... :D). I guess it's really quite a controversial topic, and of course it's gonna stay that way.

Basically, people say that the average American is sort of an agnostic, since were a so-called " first world country "( a term that I never really vouched for anyway, at least since I was old enough to understand what it means...something about it screams arrogance, after all, we're not really exempt from problems that plague the rest of the world >_<), but that's not really the case with all social strata here. There are still neighborhoods that are very devout, especially in Missouri, although I don't know about places like NYC or Miami :D

As for me, well, I'll admit I'm much more religious when I was younger, ( I actually went to a Catholic school up until eight grade, then I transferred to a public school...) and right now I'm evidently more on the scientific side, since Psychology more or less increases the improbability of things like demonic possession, supernatural mind control and the like( I don't say " impossible ", since I can't really prove that, so I keep my mind open ;)). Technically, well, I find inconsistencies in religious doctrine every now and then, so I'm not really that " faithful " anymore. Hopefully, I'll find some way to reconcile my acadeit mic beliefs to my religious background, like my mom always tells me( she's still very religious, and admittedly, I admire her for that...).

Hmmm...is there really a middle ground...?

Sorry for the wait but as you might expect I had a lot of replies and other duties to do.

I am please to know that you enjoyed my threads. My purpose is always to create a further understanding of each other belives and points of view but always keeping it civil. Unfortunantely, most of them are close minded and aren't willing to listen to anothers' point of view.

There is not a define line that represent the middle ground but nothing stops you to believe in a higher power (god) and science. Of course, it depends how you will define god.

Just checking out how you have been doing :)
Wow you have been fairly active ^_^
so just wondering do you have any preferance of art?

r q g

Hello again n_n sory for the late reply, but I'm in the middle of my semestral tests.
Yup, submit your doujin *-* I dont think they delete it *the main problem is with the scans, the doujin doesn't have problem*
I'll be checking your gallery!
C'ya :)

Hey there!

Thanks for all your advice -- it was truly priceless yesterday! I've already made friends with most of the neighbors on my floor [I live in a block of flats, by the way, because I couldn't find a room at the boarding house, and I have one roommate who happens to be one of my closest friends, so that's not going to be a problem :D]. I'm going to buy food supplies tomorrow... heh, I guess I'll have to try the charm of my baby blue eyes on whatever salesperson I encounter... X-P

Keep in touch ;)

thank you for adding me to your friendslist

r q g

hi,thank's for adding me to your friendlist.^^
you're quite interesting coz you're also love Shinn.
i think he is the most realistic character in GSD
(unlike Kira which i think is too perfect and that's why i dislike him) the second reason i like him is becouse his family name "Asuka" is my first name and i also like Shinn's Destiny Gundam (too bad it was defeated by Athrun)
ow yea i forgot to tell you Kato is not my real name my real name is"Tendou Asuka". i use Kato's name coz it's a memorial of my favourite Moto GP racer Daijiro Kato who died in a crash.(just call me Asuka if you want to.)
anyway nice to meet you. yoroshiku na.^_^

Quote by ShrinkNerv4EvaWell it's not actually J-pop, and it's not actually to an anime, but "To Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X.

Nee, you got addicted to that one too? I used to listen to it over and over, and then play it on the piano( or keyboard, when I had to settle for it ).

I love the different treatments they gave to that piece, especially that piano ballad at the beginning of the DVD release of FF-X, and the orchestral theme derived from it played during Tidus' departure at the finale. Waahhh, tears are pooling at the corner of my eyes.... ^_^'

" Tell me about sorrow..."--Houko Kuwashima, from Shinkai no Kodoku

Oh favorite is the plain simple version played at the very end of the game and when you die (that happened to me a lot). I just finished the game like an hour before I left for college, so it was still very much fresh in my mine, and then I heard it again by an awesome piano player just playing on a public piano, except it was like a souped-up version.

It's pretty cool that you friended me just for that though, although it could also be that we seem to love NGE enough to put it in our names. Anyway, thanx!

Quote by meanderEvangelHello there! I'm new to the club but I must say I really love your work. Especially when the subject is Phantom Pain. Hopefully, I'll be able to scan some of my doujinshi drawings of them and add it to the gallery. I just don't know if they would meet the criteria... ^_^'I'm from Missouri and a Psychology student, so I haven't that much time to focus on art :sweat:. Ah, but I really love to draw ever since I was little, so I'd submit some finished artwork anyway :). I certainly would love to see more of your submissions!

I'll keep in touch! :D

Quote by meanderEvangelHello there, Peniko!

Actually I'm not really sure about the quality of my drawings ^_^', haven't really focused on it, aside from sketches here and there, like everybody else...My parents, my brother and my friends say they're good, but then they might just be saying that because were close and all, hehe, they might be laying it on thick. ^_^'

I'd like to travel to the orient sometime, since there are some aspects of me that are more eastern than American, although my appearance is...not included ^_^'. You're still in high school? You're talents certainly have a lot more time to improve( being very goo, even now ). Waahh, I really wish that I draw as well as I play the piano or at Badminton( yeah right ^_^' ).

Any way, thanks for taking a risk on my submissions, just wait a bit, and you will be shocked( but not in a good way! :nya:)

Quote by meanderEvangelI love the color scheme of your page, it kinda looks like cotton candy ^_^'. And the images are really funny( and weird... :sweat:). By the way, thanks for the welcome. I really appreciate it, although I haven't been around for the past two days, 'cause of tons of research ( Uni-life...blahblahblah ^_^'). Another thing, how do you edit the userpage? Is it by HTML? Can you give me some tips on personalizing?( Guess I'm still a newbie... :sweat:) Your gallery rocks, if I may say( or rave ) so. Hopefully I'll have some free time by Christmas so I could really work on mine( or die trying XD...hehe, sick...). I'm really working on my drawings, but since going Uni, well, time has been...unreal ^_^'. Anyway, hope to see more of your work, and... I'll be in touch! Ganbare, Devilet-kun!

Eheh, thank you very much for the compliments. Glad you like my awesome page xD Yah well ... the images need to reflect my personality funny AND weird! LOLOL .. ohh, sounds like you're busy-wizzy ... eesh, take it easy. Don't overdo yourself or you'll turn into a BOOK! Mi gosh ... well .. about the userpage. The content is HTML, but the layout itself you should check out this thread: Custom Userpage Layout Tutorial *MTv3*.

Well then, you're very welcome, yah.
Good dayyy, see yah. xD

r q g

Quote by meanderEvangelThanks for the welcome! :D

Wow, you're userpage is very personalized. I'd like to do that with mine. Do you use HTML or is it a built-in feature in MT?( I guess I'm still a newbie ^_^') I just visited your gallery and I'm very impressed, your wallpapers are very professionally done and you've got excellent choices for images, and your layouts are varied and imaginative. I'm a fan! :D

Well, hopefully I'll be able to contribute some artistic creations but I'm still finding it hard because of my schedule at the Uni.
( Looks at Artistic Level, currently a glaring " 0 "... XD) Oh well, maybe I'll scan some sketches and color them with Photoshop, if I have some freetime during weekends. I just don't know if they're good enough and won't be rejected o_0...teehee, 'cause I'm not that gifted in artistry. ^_^' By the way, have you heard of the anime Gasaraki? I'll be doing a review on it soon, as its one of the titles that really sold me out on anime. I'll try to make it shorter this time ^_^'.

Wishing you well and always keeping in touch. ( From the twisted mind of Anne... :nya:)

Thanks Almina! Forum-wise, sometimes I have a hard time when expressing my true opinions about GSD, especially about how I favor Shinn, since there are many fans who dislike him intensely and are very vocal about it ^_^'. Oh well, I'm not easily offended, and don't really like to participate in prolonged character bashing and heated debates( since after long arguments, I begin to lose my temper...hehe :D), so I just suck it up.

About Kira, well, I never really liked him in the original Seed( I prefer Athrun or Rau le Creuset, yes, crazy Rau :D), but I began to really dislike him in GSD, especially when he gets high-handed and dogmatic :hmpf:. As for Lacus, well we are of the same impression, I guess. ;) I actually liked Meer better than her, because....perhaps this time the copy was more interesting than the original. however rare that occurence might be. :) Her version of Shizukana Yoru Ni was so lively I felt like dancing as well!
Anyway, it was really her that inspired those people and soldiers, I think it was actually something that the true Lacus wouldn't be as successful with. ;)

Ahhh, yes, it seems there is an upstanding, " no-killing of the returning cast " order among the Destiny scenario team, and it adds yet another layer of improbability that further hurts the series as a whole. >_<

--
" Death is but perchance to dream. A dream that lasts for eternity. "--Vincent Volaju

Shinn didn't have a really good role, especially towards the end when the old cast takes all the ligth. But I think he's an ok character. Like Kira in the prequel, ectually I think I keep going liking him in the end of Seed because of his link to Fllay, who turned up to be my second fave character... even if I disliked her at first, I find her to be a more real-life-like character. And I like too Athrun, I must be completely biased with him... but I was angry at him when he seems quite shocked that he didn't manage to convince Shinn in a few minutes in the last battle ! Well I didn't really like how he treated Shinn either and few other things. It's quite hard when two chara that you like take opposite actions.

I like Meer too. She's so enthusiastic and surely more teenager-like than Lacus.

Quote by meanderEvangelHey, thanks for the warm welcome! :nya: I'm Anne Frances Chesterfield( jeez, my name is really long, like my reviews ^_^'). I'm from Missouri( although my mom always maintains that were sort of British by descent because Grandpa's second cousin was from Norfolk or something... don't really follow the lineage thing :sweat:), and is a huge fan of anime and videogames. I'm sort of new to all the features of Minitokyo, especially the whole signature and signature image thing. How do I actually insert my GIF image into my signature? I tried it but I don't know how to use the bbCodes :sweat:, nee, guess I'm still a newbie. Anyway, I just reconfigured an GIF of Shinn and I'd love to use it as my signature image. :D
By the way, if you have seen my userpage it's still a little bare( unlike yours, which is amazing :)). Hopefully, I'll be able to upload some pictures and my avatar. I'd also love to submit some fanart( sketches and doujinshi ) to the galleries, since its one of my hobbies aside from anime, videogames and Badminton ^_^'. So, when I have some free time( I mean really free... ), I'll be able to scan some of my drawings, especially those of Stellar( she is one of my favorites ), and also Trinity Blood and CLAMP anime. Thanks a lot again. I'll keep in touch! :D

Hiya! It took me a while to reply, sorry... I'm moving out to another city tomorrow (on my own XD), and so I'm swamped with all sorts of stuff, from packing to meeting with my friends to return their DVDs, CDs, magazines, books etc. and to get mine back at the same time ^_^'

Glad you like my userpage :) To be honest, I've been neglecting it for a looong time [I had a red and black userpage skin for ages], but eventually I grew tired of it and decided I'd try something new -- hence, this skin was born :) Good luck with customizing yours! It's really not that hard ;)

As for the signature image, you only need to upload your image to ImageShack, then place the first BBcode for the image (looks like this: [ IMG ] http://whatever [ / IMG ] ->> without the spaces) in your signature. Oh, and remove the [ URL = http://imageshack.us ] and [ / URL ] tags. Those make the image link back to imageshack... >_>

Gotta dash now, hope to talk to you soon and to see some of your artwork and doujinshi! Oh, and I <3 Trinity Blood, too :D
