I have here a story from a missionary! ^^
Basahin mo, napakaganda! ^^

A LITTLE 's PEARLS

Jenny, a cheerful little was almost five. Waiting for her mother at the checkout counter, she saw them A circle of glistening white pearls in a pink foil box!
Oh, please mommy, can I have them... Please mommy please?¢?
Quickly the mother checked the back of the foil box for a price, and then look back into the pleading eyes of her little 's upturned face."A dollar twenty-five that's over one dollar? if you really want them, I'll think of some extra chores for you, and in time you can save enough money to buy them for yourself.
As soon as Jenny got home, she emptied her savings box and counted 17 cents. After dinner, she did more than her share of chores, and then she went to her neighbor and asks Mr. Jones if she could pick flowers for 10 cents. And so it went, until at last she had enough money to buy the necklace!
How Jenny loved her pearls! They made her feel dressed up and grown up! She wore them everywhere- to school even to bed! The only time she took them off was when she went swimming or had her bath, as mummy told her not to get them wet.
Now Jenny had a very loving father, and every night when she was ready for bed, he would stop whatever he was doing and read her a story. One night when she had finished the story, he ask Jenny, "Jenny do you love me?"
"Oh yes, daddy, you know that I love you!"
"Then give me your pearls", he said to Jenny.
"Oh daddy, please not my pearls... but you can have my teddy bear, here's my favorite!"That's OK, sweetheart, daddy loves you, good night. And he gave her a kiss on the neck.
About a week later, after the story time, Jenny's father asked again, "Jenny do you love me?"
"Oh yes daddy, you know that I love you!
Then give me your pearls?,he said once again.
Oh daddy, please not my pearls but you can have my baby doll my new one.
That's okay sweetheart, he said, "Sleep well, my little one, daddy loves you." And as always, he gave her a kiss on her cheek.
A few nights later when her daddy came inside her bedroom, Jenny was sitting on her bed with her leg crossed. As he came near to Jenny, he saw that her chin was trembling, and that tears were rolling down her face. "What is it Jenny, sweetheart... what's the matter?
Jenny didn't say anything but lifted up her little hand up to her daddy, and when she opened it, there was her little plastic pearl necklace! With a little quiver in her voice she finally said: "Here daddy, it's for you.
With tears gathering in his own eyes, Jenny's kind father reached out with one hand to take the plastic pearl necklace, and with the other hand he reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue velvet case with beautiful, genuine pearls, and gave them to Jenny,he had them all the time, he was just waiting for her to give up the cheap plastic pearl necklace so he could give her a genuine treasure.

And so it is, with our heavenly father, Jehovah. He is waiting for us to give up certain things in our lives, so that he can give us a beautiful treasure. What about us, are we holding on to things that our Heavenly Father want us to let go of? Are we holding on to harmful or unnecessary friends, relationships, habits, and activities that we have become so attached to that it seems impossible to let go?

Sometimes, it's so hard for us to see what's in "the other hand" but do we truly believe this one thing; Jehovah will never ask us to give up something without giving us something better in it's place!

Quote by DarkingramGay marriage..... I'll share something about homosexuality...hope everyone will benefit in the teachings of the Bible...

While many people have changed their view and others are undecided, the Bible's viewpoint is crystal clear: "You will not have intercourse with a man as you would with a woman. This is a hateful thing," states the Bible. (Leviticus 18:22, The New Jerusalem Bible) No apologies, no concessions, no ambiguity--homosexuality is detestable in God's sight. For ancient Israelites living under the Mosaic Law, the penalty was death. (Leviticus 20:13) And with the advent of Christianity, God's condemnation of homosexuality continued. (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10)

God Is Opposed--Why?
But why is God so adamantly opposed to it? One reason is stated at Isaiah 48:17: "I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself, the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk." Those words come from the Author of the universal laws of nature. He knows our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual makeup. He opposes homosexuality because, among other things, it does not benefit the individual. A review of the apostle Paul's letter to Christians living in Rome confirms this. He wrote:

"That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error. And just as they did not approve of holding God in accurate knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mental state, to do the things not fitting."--Romans 1:26-28

Note, homosexuality is called not only "disgraceful," "obscene," and "not fitting" but also "contrary to nature." Regarding these verses, a report from the Church of England says: "What Paul means by 'unnatural' is 'unnatural' to mankind in God's creation pattern. All homosexual behaviour is a divergence from God's creation scheme." Anthropologist Weston LaBarre called it a "frustration of one's own and others' essential biological nature." This concurs with the meaning of the Greek word used in the Bible and translated "natural" or, "according to nature."

It is no surprise that any "divergence from God's creation scheme" reaps bad results (as man's miserable record with the environment has shown). Homosexuals 'receive in themselves the full recompense, which is due for their error.' In other words, their life becomes a life of unnatural sexual aberration; hence, a life devoid of God's approval. In addition, they may suffer physical harm because of their perversions...

Bad Fruitage
Paul also says that homosexuals would be "violently inflamed [literally, burned out] in their lust toward one another." While wrong thinking can fan wrong desires even in heterosexual relations, it seems that with the anticipation of depraved sexual relations, the wanton lust burns even stronger. "A Perilous Double Love Life," an article published in Newsweek magazine, said: "Men and women bisexuals alike often talk of the 'intense' arousal, the 'different energy' they experience with their own sex. James remembers it as being 'like sky diving. It was intoxicating, a high.'" Being thus inflamed, many homosexuals have multiple partners (some have hundreds), and for some their compulsion drives them to have sex many times a day, even with complete strangers. This promiscuity not only leads to communicable diseases, such as hepatitis, but fosters jealousy, insecurity, and unhappiness, even as it does in promiscuous heterosexual relationships...

Once a person submits to "covetous sexual appetite," he can become enslaved. (1 Thessalonians 4:5) To what extent? Referring to AIDS, one homosexual admitted: "Even faced with a miserable, awful death, the sex drive is a strong drive." This calls to mind the Bible's warning: "Do not let sin continue to rule as king in your mortal bodies that you should obey their desires."--Romans 6:12

Since sexual immorality is based largely on self-gratification, it often leads to more debased acts. And fallen human nature being what it is, once an act becomes commonplace, its excitement tends to wane. Thus, some homosexuals have gone on to sadomasochism and other vile practices. One Bible commentary says that "the effect of such base and unnatural passions . . . tended to debase the mind; to sink man below the level of the brute; to destroy the sensibility." A Bible scholar grouped homosexuality with "crimes, which were utterly inconsistent with reason, nature, and their own and each other's welfare."

Bible Standards Bring Peace
We can be grateful that God does not change his standards just to satisfy the passing fancies or perverted desires of men. Even as he does not approve of polluting the earth or of lying simply because more people want to do it, so he does not condone homosexuality though many espouse it with zeal. No matter what course men promote, Jehovah wants us to honor him and benefit ourselves...

Gay marriage must be shun...

How dare you forbid someone the right to love because a two thousand year old book of stupidities says so. How dare you judge when your own pathetic bible says not to. Your sad and antiquated ideas have no place in the modern world and you only promote hatred and exclusion when your moronic little god is supposed to be omnibenevolent and all-loving. Where on earth did you get the idea that all homosexuals and bisexuals are promiscuous and AIDS-infected? Heteros as much as gays and bis can be promiscuous and infected with STIDs. Anyway, I fail to see how a portion of the population that has nothing to do with you can bother you so much. Let us go to hell if we want, there'll be more room in heaven for you, you arrogant, santimonious bastard. Go choke on your bible.

Quote by Darkingram, aka stupid fundieHappiness and any degree of security are hard to come by for anyone today. But, as the life accounts of so many homosexuals show, their course is even more uncertain and, in fact, self-defeating. Compare their own confessions with the statements made by the apostle Paul concerning homosexuality: "God has abandoned them to degrading passions . . . and [they are] experiencing in their own persons the inevitable penalty of what they have done." (Romans 1:26, 27, An American Translation) Do not the admissions of actual longtime homosexuals and the results seen in their own course of life show up the truthfulness of these Biblical words? Does it not lead to an "inevitable penalty" of frustration and hopelessness? Yes--according to the homosexuals...

Not surprisingly, therefore, the Bible says that homosexuality is "degrading" and that "those practicing such things are deserving of death." (Romans 1:32) Of course, it is up to God and his glorified Son to execute any such death penalty at the proper time...

"This takes into account that it is righteous on God's part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for you, but, to you who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength, at the time he comes to be glorified in connection with his holy ones and to be regarded in that day with wonder in connection with all those who exercised faith, because the witness we gave met with faith among you."--2 Thessalonians 1:6-10

"But is this not harsh on God's part?" some persons ask. After all, a person cannot help it if he is a homosexual, can he? It is true that many feel that change is all but impossible and so may conclude that God is being overly stern with homosexuals. They may argue that a person "is born a homosexual" and claim that there is a genetic inclination toward the practice. But if that is the case, why is it that some individuals are homosexual for only part of their life, maybe in their later years? If homosexuality were inherited, would it not be evident all through life and remain with them? That seems logical. So something other than inheritance must figure into the cause of their homosexual actions...

People are "gay," then, because that is what they want. As the Bible says, it is "in keeping with the desires of their hearts." Therefore, the Bible's condemnation of this practice is justified when it says that both male and female homosexuals receive "in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error"; they "will not inherit God's kingdom." (Romans 1:24-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10)

It logically follows that they can change if they really want to change, does it not? The Bible is correct when it refers to some who carried on in such practices in the first century and says, "that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean." (1 Corinthians 6:11)

Wrong, loser. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale Unlike your moronic and wrong bookthat only promotes ignorance, hatred, and exclusion, this has scientific basis. People who change sexual orientation are to some degree bisexual, and those who don't are exclusively homo- or heterosexual. If you had anything more than the mind of a sheep, you would notice that virtually every scientist who studied the subject agree with each other that homosexuality is a natural phenomenon. As I have stated before, go choke on a bible.
