It would really depend on the situation. The situation you described is civilians caught in the crossfire as opposed to being the intended targets.

Nope,i din meant it.what i mean is i think they r the best couple in GS & GSD.(i like Mwu & Murrue also)it's just that Fukuda ruins this out.it's seem their scenes together r very little.(but if follow the story line must be like this...why Athrun came back to Zaft? )
they r so different,really from the 2 polar of earth.but they still can be together & accept each other weakness...coz they love each other. that's why i say they r the best.
it's hard to say Athrun din love Cagalli at 1st coz he's not that kind of person who always show his feeling to others.(seeing he blush all the way to give the ring to Cagalli)it's contrary to Cagalli,that's why ppl think Cagalli love Athrun more than he love her.1 thing i absolutely know is that he do had feeling with her at 1st.
