of German, Latin, Gregorian chant thing going on. My favourite German bands are
still Rammstein et K.M.F.D.M. actually i managed to see KMFDM in concert a few
years back.

thanks for stopping by on my page and for still remembering my

I'm studying German (it's mostly about German literature) and media
communications. I've finished almost all my lessons so I'm beginning now to read
and write for my leaving work. It must have around 100 pages and well to get the
Diploma there will also be a final exam. So next year in April or so I hope to
finish my German studies and a little later Media communications. It feels a bit
weird because I know that my life is about to change again and I will probably
move... maybe back to Germany, but all this is still written in the stars. For now I
try to focus on finishing my last works...
Yes, I've been talking with my friend about the Anime series on "Death
note"... I hope I can see the first episode soon. The Manga is finally
being published in German. First I wanted to get them in English but now I'm
going to read the German versions.
Last weeks I've hardly been here at Minitokyo. I hope that now I find more time
again... so I must still check out many of your scans. I've made a wallpaper of
one of the Miggy scans. However... that wallpaper I only spent a few hours on.

I don't even know K.M.F.D.M.! I do know Rammstein though. I know they are quite
popular in foreign countries too. Actually I must admit that upsets me.
Rammstein probably fulfills the stereotype of what many people think of
"typical German". Well it's not my taste of music and I don't like
their hmm... "harshness". I don't know whether you can understand what
I mean. Being born in Germany, soon one learns about the history of Germany and
that even though you were not born yet, you still are responsible for something
that happened in the past. I do understand it but it's still difficult. I was
happy when the soccer worldcup took place in Germany... to somehow ...show that
Germans are not just punctual, well organized... and rude, harsh etc. And
sometimes I feel as if Rammstein is popular in foreign countries because they
fit well into this stereotype.
You're looking for a job? I've been looking for a job too, however only
something to keep me busy not more than two days a week. And I luckily found
something in a clothing store. That will
give me some pocket money till I finish my university and can start looking for
a "real" job.

Actually, I'm not really a fan of MGS (oops typed msg there :P)- in fact, I
didn't really know what it was lol. I saw the artbook (or another one anyway)
for sale but wasn't sure if I should get it. DPG then released this artbook
(version 1.5) and there are some really amazing scans- namely with the linework
and the colouring. I'm impressed I might then
go ahead and get that artbook and if it's not the same one, scan it in too :3
(that is, if it's still there for sale )

because I'm getting at least two of the pieces tattooed on my body... they
aren't there yet, but my artist is sketching up the Warm Embrace for me. Soon,

I dont think is rare ...if you really search you'll find that there's plenty of
people who not only make weird/abstract walls but like you said are saying
something....the problem is that their art is not that interesting to the eyes
of the common people and they end up like talking to themselves ..so is kind of
an irony ....

First of all, you should come to NWP. It's mildly dead right now, and needs
activity.
Second of all, you're going to be complaining rather vociferously, I think; I
already know what it's about, though, so you don't necessarily need to gripe to
me. Just tell the mods and Sheqel how terribly unhappy you are with having the
advertisements where they are. If you really want me to, then maybe I'll even
act as the voice of reason and tell them that advertising is all well and good,
but they ought to take them out of peoples' userpages.
Thanks for all the tips on how to use Photoshop to handle scans - I've already
learned rotating, cropping, adjusting brightness & contrast and the healing
tool. For now I think it will suffice .
I have a lot of things to catch up with, especially the guestbook posts and all
the submissions notices to check out. But the two weeks holiday was definitely
worth it...
Btw, I have sent you the parcel, it should arrive at the end of August .

About the original scan... yes it was too much for me in that aspect that there
were simply too many things on the picture for my taste... the hands, the tea
pot etc. Also as you see Rain put more flowers directly next to the feet of the
girl... and all the black undefined parts may have made the original artwork
more like art than mine, but for a wallpaper this would not have worked, in my
point of view. But as I already wrote, I enjoy making changes, that's part of
why I chose the scan.
I enjoyed the colorisation of this one very much. So I am happy that you liked
the result.
And about the small amount of comments and favourites... I think reason for this
is that the thumbnail really doesn't look so convincing. No problem
for me... I'm happy when some people, like you, whose opinion is very important
to me, appreciate my submissions.
Hmm... I am now coming back a little to being online more often... I'm at my
parents' home during holiday... so I got too much time. But I'd certainly be
happy to see you around more often again!
