Quote by bluSakeThe textures are very engaging, & I like your idea of the samurai brushes XD Reminds me of a Samurai Champloo wall.

I am very glad that you enjoyed this piece, and I do feel that I accomplished something good here.

So how is your corner of CA this winter? Are you staying dry? I know there's been a lot of flooding and such...

You're welcome. :)

My corner of CA? Rainy, cloudy, and sunny...but no flooding. Typical San Francisco area winter weather. XP

& thx for the fav on a.wa.re. XD

Well, I'm back on the East coast and back on MT. The Bay was beautiful and I enjoyed my time there greatly. You're lucky to live in such a wonderful part of the country :D.

It's good to be back and now I'm just catching up with all my notifications. I'll have to eventually check out everybody's new work too ^_^.

Hi! *waves* How's it going?!

I appreciate your comment on my wall Hesperides ^_^

Quote: You've done a beautiful job of extending the image using just the limited pieces in the scan. Reminds me of an old Victorian-style calender I used to have.

Thank you kindly for the sweet words =)
I appreciate the support! Thank you!

Hi! thank you for reminding me about the photos... I've replaced it already... :)

Hello! I need to know this question! I just abandened my group Stratos-4-Team! I had chosen leave group and i'm not a member of the group anymore, but could I be in trouble? another moderator told me to leave the group alone and someone will take it. I left the group alone but now there is no group staff. Could I get into trouble?

Quote by bluSakeNice original perspective. Haji's reflection on the sword is an especially interesting touch.

Blu! What's up? How have you been lately? Busy, no doubt, eh? :P
But thanks for the comment on "No Loitering"! I appreciate it ^^
See you around!

Quote by bluSakeNice vectoring, and the disks of text are a nice touch.

Didn't read the manga, but I watched the Taiwanese drama (when I should have been studying for exams ^_^' )

Oooo...there's a Taiwanese drama version? (Must seek out now.... *goes on quest*) :D :D
Manga's one of my favorites... you should check it out

Quote by bluSakeThis is gorgeous! Love this adaptation of Shunpei. The bg looks like something out of Gankutsuou; can't stop staring at it.

thanks for the kind comment and don't stare it too long 'cause it'll burn your eyes out. =P

Hi blusake! Just passing by to say hi and tell you that i *LOVE* your walling skills *.* Thank you for all your masterpieces!
Take care~

Quote: The elements and textures are pretty well combined. Can't figure out the position of the pool relative to the bamboo though.

Well it's just in front of the bamboo but, it doesn't really matter. It can be surrealistic! lol XD
Thanks for passing by bluSake ^^
I appreciate that a lot ^^
See you soon!

Quote by bluSakeHave to agree with your comment; Champloo just has such an in-your-face style. Great vector. Just wondering where the wall is.

Lol, thanks for the comment on "Champlooing"! It really is such an awesome anime. Mugen & Jin = luv

Maybe I should make a wall on it...

Anyway, thanks again and I hope to see you around more on MT!

Quote by bluSakeCuteness . overload. I love love love this image and the composition. My, I almost want to cuddle my screen.

Yay! >xD

Quote by bluSakeNot a Byakuya fan, but this is a beautiful wall, with the swords & petals & shading & texturing. Guess the glowy arm is one thing, but I suppose it goes with the rest of the piece, and in the end I think it's the better version.

Hi! How have you been?
Thanks a bunch for the comments on "My Way"! I'm glad you liked it!

r q g

Quote by bluSakeAlterations? You've almost completely reinvented the image, and very creatively. Love how the spades become the leaves. Very autumnal, and very warm & fuzzy.

Thanks for the comment...makes me feel warm and fuzzy :D

Quote by bluSakeThanks for +ing me to your wl.

You're welcome and thanks for adding me back^^

Your really a great artist ! I hope you be on the way for succes ! Excellent work !

Konnichiwa~

I noticed that your wallpaper site is hosted on Geocities o.0

Perhaps you should get a real host and advertise your site a bit more [joining button rotations and whatnot] so other people besides the ones at MT can see your beautiful works~

Just a suggestion~

Quote by DREAMi have to confess i really like Youka artwork..
the bg has a Shunpei-esque look that i love..

minor crit: i am not positive about the flower behind Youka - i would have moved it elsewhere off her body. perhaps farther to the left..

I got a comment from DREAM *dies* ...though I'm not sure about the Shunpei-esque bg. >_>

I did think about moving that lotus; but, with the other one, it sort of looked like parenthasis and broke the balance.

:o you must be kidding lady bluSake; of course i shall and do comment on your walls as you are one of my favourite artists on MT. :) :pacman:

Quote by bluSakeMind-boggling. So much vector work... though I think it would have looked better with the lines.

...do you mean the black contour?

thanks very much for your comment! :D
see ya

i thought i added you to my watchlist? well i'll just add you again, i gotta check out your lotus wallie!

Quote by bluSakeVery cool. Love Edo period art, & this vector captures the look very well. Would have been interesting to see gradients here though.

Indeed I thought about using gradients after I got started since so much of the piece blends together...decided to do a flat color version first (should have tried the gradients too...ah well :) )
