Hi there! It's been a while right? Finally back around here, so I stop by to take some news. How are you doing? I still visit your homepage and must say I loved your recent animation works (and the last trailer :) ). Must be a lot of work ^^. As for your last submissions around, expect some late comments soon! Hope to see you around, since I will try to be active again :) .

Quote by harakiriI like the detailed hair accessory. Although I don't like Ca Capo I think this drawing is really well done - quite professional, flower-chan.

I haven't watched the anime series or even played the game yet. When I looked into a maganize based on the new D.C. game, the artwork looked way better compare to D.C. part one. Part 2 seems to have more interesting characters though. :D

Either way, love to thank you for the compliment on my work. I am glad that there are somethings that are good about it. Thank you Harakiri-kun. Take care.

Quote by harakiriIt is a shame that it is blurred - it would be so much nicer to look at if it was a high quality JPG.
I somehow have the feeling that I already have seen this background in another work of yours. But it is a very good artwork again and the colouration is great.

You've created that picture on my birthday xD

Hey hey! Lol, well happy belated b-day! Yea, it is blurry, didn't realize MT had a size requirement :-P. Sorry for the delayed response. Teehee, nope the background is new. I guess it's similar since all I ever draw is clouds, XD. Thanks for the comment - much appreciated. Can't wait to see your new manga!

Hiii!
Excuse by not to have responded your post before, but I have had much work and very just a short time it frees. I feel much! If my nickname has direct relation with the creation of the Gainax study, Daicon. A tribute certainly. I hope that when you have free time you can share another one of your works! Much luck in the university!
Greetings! :D

Quote by walkure245Very cool perspective and you can visually see the parting and the emotions that is a result of it. You did an awesome job on the repainting. It gives a dramatic effect but still has your style and it blends in well with your bg. Really love the way you did the clouds. Superb work~

Reading your comments really gives me the encouragement I need. I am glad that you liked the concept and the clouds. On AP some people complained about them because they didn't have the ordinary fluffy-cloud-shape.
Have a nice day.

Are you serious? Honestly, I thought it was really cool way of showing them being separated by an invisible force and the clouds gave a sort of visualization of this and showed how hard it was to separate the two. O_o Fluffy clouds are cute and happy but it wouldn't work in such a dramatic piece. Then again, that could be just me. ^_^

Hello, harakiri!
*bows* I'm really sorry for taking 4 weeks to write back. ;_; Just like you, school and finals are heck on wheels. I nearly cried from lack of sleep and lab reports. *sigh* But it's done. Thanks gosh~ But I do hope you're doing well though. ^_^
Sending thanks for the nice words on my magiblue drawing. >_< *huggles* My appreciation~ I was worried that the colors were too bland, that's why I went overboard. Heheh~ I couldn't stop myself. XD I know. My best friend just shakes her head at me. Tbh, I wasn't into power rangers anymore after In Space but then I just downloaded an epsiode which I thought was an anime and I totally fell in love with the characters. Then I got readdicted with the japanese series. Chuu~ I'm so lame. -_- Sorry for going on.
Thankies again!

Quote by harakiriIt is somehow a bit surrealistic and mysterious. I am not sure whether the blue area around the character is water or sky because the white things in it could be water-elements or clouds. Really interesting. The feet that are not inside the water indicate that the scene takes place in the sky, right?
The colouring itself is very good and the outlines are carefully done as well.

Hi Harakiri-san. :)

Yes, the scenery does take place in the sky. ^_^' I thought it was interesting on how you compare the sky and water elements. Though white objects are clouds. ^_^' I am thankful that you take your time out to leave a comment and fav my latest artwork. Thank you so much Harakiri-san. :)

Since I am here, I went into your site and read "Watashi, Ningen". You mention that it was submitted for a contest and rules limited the amount of pages you can create. It was short but sweet. I like the way you apporch the concept. :) You illustrated the characters and scenery very nicely and the toning looked great too. You are very talented and creative. I really enjoy reading your manga. :) I want to encourage you to continue creating more when you have the time to. You have the skills and I would like to see you continue creating more of your wonderful works. :)

Thank you again for viewing my artwork. :D I hope you have a lovely or relaxing weekend. Please take care. :) I'll see you around Harakiri-san. :)

Quote by SharinganKnightwhy wasn't this shit highlighted?!? its AMAZING

Thanks for your compliment and the favourite. I appreciate it that you would highlight it but maybe it wasn't cute or vectorish enough for the MT staff. Who knows ^^

Have a nice day.

haha, you imply correctly. The MT staff seems to be lacking on artistic eyes lately. But meh..can;t balme them, so much crap gets submitted everyday.

Quote by harakiriWow, the details, the dynamic pose and the sketchy outlines. Really great image, Leandro.

Hey Paul, thanks for the reply! I really apreciated... hehe, not my most original work, but I liked the way it turned out... like... I stared drawing and then when I saw, 20 minutes later it was ready... hehe, quite quick, but anyway, a nice one.

thanks agains, and have a great time around!

hi there,
thank you for the comment, i hope it will help to improve the quality

I will overwork it and hope it will be become better

Hiyee, harakiri!
Chuu~ Warm thanks for the nice comment on my drawing! >_< *huggles* I really appreciate the feedback. ^_^ You're right about the bg. It was last minute decision and someone else said that too. So I took it out. Thanks for the input.
Thankies always!

Quote by harakiriI see, you're working on a girl-with-animal artwork series lately, aren't you? I like this new artwork of yours and the outlines are very nice, too. You mentioned Illustrator - it is not that one from Adobe? Well, the colouring was done nicely and I like that tiger. There are not many images with animals here on MT.

Yes and I am continuing this for a little longer. XD I hope you aren't annoyed by it yet. XD I am waiting until I am annoyed. So that will be a long time from now. XD

I am glad that you like my latest artwork Harakiri-sama. :) About Illustrator, the program is call CG illust (short for CG illustrator). It's very much like the program Open Canvas but has it's own files. Open Canvas is more advanced and has more upgraded versions. The new version to the CG illust hasn't even come out in english yet and it's cheaper to buy. ^_^' Adobe Illustrator is a bit pricey for me. ^_^'

Along with my stop to thank you, I also read your short manga "3rd Kind". I really enjoy it and I can't be much of a critic. ^_^' I was very entertained. :D The random situations and the concept of some of the things that characters mention was funny. :D The artwork was also good and the entire manga was unique. :) I like it very much and I am going to try and read the perivous manga you created later when I have the chance to ( I saw the titles in your website).

Anyways, I hope you have a good weekend and that life treats you kind. :) I'll see you later Harakiri-sama. Take care. :)

Quote by harakiriIt really is a nice and funny image. I like the things the people in the background are saying. You put quite a lot of effort into the characters and the colouring. But I think the background is a bit too simple and doesn't go that well with the detailed characters. Nevertheless, it is funny.

As long as I put a smirk or smile on your face then I have done my job well. :D I agree that the background is just too easy but I am lazy and I wasn't taking the drawing too seriously. XD Though I am surprised that you thought I had put effort into the characters (only because they look more detailed than the BG, eh? XD ) Thank you, Harakiri-sama! I am just happy that you find the drawing funny. :)

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you. ;) I'll see you another time when I come back to finally read that other manga you created a little while back. Take care. :)

I am glad that you liked the details and the background :D
Motivates me to do more of this.

Hi there ! You deserve it all the best word and compliment! Hope to see more from you ! Take care and Good Luck !

Quote by harakiriSo this is a complete CG work? What a coincidence, I am currently practicing to use the tablet as my main drawing equipment in the future^^
I am rather impressed by this one because I know how difficult it is to draw outlines with the tablet and so I appreciate your effort very much. The character is pretty although I think the legs are a bit to long. It's not that I want to complain about it but you asked for a bit criticism so I am trying to provide you some xD
Other than that, everything is well done.

Really? So that means that you are going to submit a new drawing soon? I really would love to see it! :) I am on the look out! :nya:

I am glad that you are impressed but I know that you are much better at making a complete CG compare to me. Your latest works just proves that. :D

Hahahah! XD No, I don't think you're complaining. XD It's like you said that I did ask for it and I am actually thankful for that. I not going to turn around and make anyone sound like they are doing something wrong. XD XD Thank you, Harakiri-sama for checking on my works and willing to help out with some tips or pointers. :) Beside I always encourage it. :)

I hope you have an awesome week ahead of you, Harakiri-sama. I'll see you around. :D

Hiyee, harakiri!
Chuu~ Warm thanks for the nice words on my Rozen Maiden wallie! >_< *huggles* I really appreciate the feedback. ^_^ You know, I was thinking of adding shattered glass but I didn't know how to do it. ;_; Or add a crystal field. Buu~ I really need to find a tut for those.
Thankies alway!

Quote by harakiriWelcome back, flower-chan, and don't say such negative things like "need to improve" because I think that your drawings are very well done. I think your latest one is quite cute and I especially like the cat's design. So you're using the tablet now? I think the colouration turned out nice - you should do more of that.

Have a nice day and thanks for the support!

You are welcome for the support. :) I am sorry that I didn't comment on your works. You have done an outstanding job on your latest works as well (looking forward to more :D ). I thank you deeply for your comment and fav on my latest work and for encouraging me to do more. Though I believe I always have room for improvement. It's that feeling that makes me want to continue drawing and try new things in my artwork. ^_^' Thank you again Harakiri-sama! I hope you have a wonderful day ahead of you! See ya around. :)

Quote by harakiriI think the story is highly overrated. As already mentioned there is no plot development and the daily stories aren't complex at all so even if you enjoyed Aria you should try to rate the story how it actually was. 8 for story is way too many because you need to compare it to anime that have a well written plot and you will realize that Aria's plot is quite poor.
The animation wasn't that good either. They saved money by leaving out a lot of movement. So far, that's the objective part.

And now my opinion; I don't know why so many people love Aria. I was about to fall asleep while watching it and only this annyoing cat kept me alive as I imagined many ways to prepare it as a meal.

Perhaps my message got somewhat lost. I rated the series so high because it lacked a coherant plot. It's a risky move, in my opinion, because so many people look for a unique continuity when deciding what to watch. There's the characteristic of lacking plot, which Aria has. It, however, does not necessarily lack in terms of story. I think of story as the message told. This concept is not to be confused with plot, which is the the course of events. I found the message of Aria to be extremely in depth. It's all a matter of what one takes away from a series, I suppose.

I think of Aria as a bit more depth than just the events happening in each episode. Like others in the slice of life genre, Aria is nothing more than the tale of every day life. That bores most people. Why should I watch someone make a cup of coffee when I can go and make my own cup? Often, you don't realize what you do to make that cup. Watching someone else do it adds a new perspective.

I see Aria for what it is: simple. A lot of people out there don't like simple. They like explosions and giant robots. They like heart-wrenching love stories out of trashy romance novels. They enjoy the fantasy world because it isn't their own. Aria (and series like it) have a place of their own, in a little niche I like to call reality. After all, it really could happen.

Now go make yourself a cup of coffee ;)

Thank you very much for the nice comment.
You know, I really considered some speedlines (the extra oomph) and more image movement but I was afraid that it could damage the image instead of improving it so I let it like it was.

Hey :)

Thanks for the comment back - you do have a point, sometimes when trying to increase the effects of movement (in this case) it could damage the picture but i guess that sometimes it's either worth experimenting, or it's just better to leave it alone :)

Hope all is well :)

Quote by harakiriShe's supposed to be Russian? Well, I have no specific image of Russians but there are those beautiful female agents with black hair and cool glasses in movies - maybe that would be Russian? xD
Anyway it is a wonderful sketch and I don't know why you're so unhappy with it. Like OracleAngel already said it really looks like a fashion sketch. Looking at that picture Parakiss comes to my mind, the only fashion anime that I know. It's a nice work.

I am deeply sorry for commenting now and not earlier.

Hello harakiri - Haven`t heard from you in a while. I hope everything is well. Thank you for your comment - but I really didn`t really like it .___.; after I posted it on. Awww, well maybe not russian - watching 007 movies? Haha!

I`m a bit of a fan of parakiss. The artwork is rather good. But this hasn`t got anything to do with it :) Thanks again!
