Congratulations on your new rank, Shin-sama! You now outrank the elites once
again.
How's work on the island? Myself I just got off vacation- saw the Grand Canyon,
Sedona, Vegas (for the 4th time) and some of Los Angeles. When I get back to
work they'll probably have to re-train me. lol
Hope your morale's within acceptable tolerances. Take care, and ciao!
Quote by shinsengumiHehe, I just now
noticed that someone seems to have dumped a bucket of gold paint on your
username. Congrats. . . you deserved it!
Also, I absolutely love your userpage. It's been a long, long while since I last
saw something both so creative and so nicely done (I really like your little
parenthetical comments for the various navication links, for example). And, of
course, m-flo rocks ^_^
Hiya shinsegumi
Thanks for dropping around ^^
I'm glad that you enjoyed the userpage~~ just a little fun is needed now and
then And indeed, m-flo does rock They
released a double CD album recently o.o
Anyway, I'll catch you around
*leaves cookies behind~*
Thanks for the bday note *bows*.... now i'm off to read the new posts in your
thread... it is horrible, how can one read that, plus browse the galleries,
check his GB, eat, sleep, wash, manage RL ? *multiplies self*
I thank you for your apology. It was well thought out, and i appricate that. In
the future i will try to give statments in the forums that happen to be more
thought out and educated unlike my former ones( that is the thought i ment to
get across on your thread).
I appricate the time you have taken in these discussions with me. I hope not all
of my threads are that agrivating( humorous tone). And i would be glad to talk
to you in the future.
Hie there i was just so tempted to just drop by and say hi to you =D
You are one of the most influential person in MT i must say and
oh my god you like Suzumiya Haruhi too lol !?!?! lol so many is crazed by it and
haven't even watch a single episode of it....argh.... must put it on my To Do
List haha...
Well i have this feeling that minitokyo was not it used to be... The older
members seem to be complain sometimes ahha im still so new... Just maybe you can
enlighten me of what the atmosphere was like between the old and the present MT?
Heyo, Eugene! Remember your old chatting friend? How has everything been going?
I am now working in my community in the grounds department. I have some pretty
neat adventures with the other workers during the day. On one of the days, the
boss really became steamed at one of the girls because she cut out twice during
her lunch break, not to mention she cut out last year and was fired, so when the
girl opened her mouth up the boss just told her, "I don't even want to hear
it." Funny thing is that the other people were talking too!
In more casual news, I'm going into my third year at Old Westbury. I had a rough
second year of college because of the load of work and the difficulty of my
classes, but luckily I escaped with passing grades. I hope to work harder and
pull my GPA up to at least 3.0 so I could obtain some scholarships. Is it me or
are scholarships harder to earn nowadays? I'm also going to visit my girlfriend
in Canada probably this upcoming weekend, so I'll be making her happy.
How's the government studies holding up? There has been quite a bit of
legislative discussion lately, especially one I remember regarding a bill for
illegal immigration. I wonder what the status of that bill is. Aside from that,
it appears that crises are becoming more prominent in the world. I hope the
people could eventually reconcile and subside the fighting that apparently seems
to trigger more fighting, at least in my eyes.
I hope things have been going well on your end and that we keep in touch with
each other! This is probably the most I've written since that thread I created
about the changes in Minitokyo, lol, but then again I'm a pretty decent writer.
Though I hardly see you on messenger given that you are busy through the weeks,
I hope you write to me again! Take care my good friend!
I haven't seen any missiles overhead, but I'll keep an eye out for them.
=)
I'm staying in Tianjin, which is about 100 miles southeast of Beijing. The
proximity also means lots of dust, as construction for the 2008 Olympics and all
its requisite venues have gone well underway. My hometown is a completely
different city than the one I remember, and the construction is making things
quite a bit dusty.
I saw on the news that a typhoon just glanced off out Taiwan. Hope everything is
okay! These things pack a punch, and back in the states we don't get much of any
hurricane leftovers from Maryland up. Though perhaps the typhoon may have cooled
down the temperature a bit?
Anyways, I'll have to end it here. You can see from my post that MT works, but
my only point of access is at internet cafes, which aren't very pocket book
friendly. That and given my need to devote most of my time on the computer to
things for the coming semester, I haven't had any time to browse MT. Thankfully,
the others are covering for me.
There I go rambling again. Anyways, hope you're having fun at work!
wah! T.T i thought you forgot about me! how horrible of u shin! xD
just kidding! lol
i am A-OK! how r u doing? busy busy i should guess. ^.^
o.o? your a Suzumiya Haruhi fanboy? hahaha good for u
well i better get going. kiss kiss shin! ^.~
Quote by shinsengumiHeyo omni! First
off, I just wanted to apologize for taking on the scoring duties for Arete
without having received prior permission from you; Arete was your contest and
you had invested a lot into it, and as such it was a very forward thing for me
to do, but given the circumstances I thought action was best. As such, I hope
you can forgive me for my presumptuousness.
That said, you haven't been around very lately, and from DREAM's comment in the
Schattenrand guestbook, it seems as if real life isn't giving you much time for
diversions such as Minitokyo, and as such I just wanted to stop by and wish you
the best of luck in everything you're working on right now.
Take care, and hope to see you around again!
Yeah, I'm really sorry about all of that. My ability to traverse the internet
was more or less nonexistant for, well... the latter half of spring, more or
less. I'm sure you handled things well. Thanks for taking things up on my
behalf. If I ever try something like this out again, I'm not doing it during the
schoolyear. Ugh.
Shin-san! How are you doing? It's been awhile since I last stopped by, so gomen!
m(_ _)m
How's your summer been going so far? Are you working? Traveling? I just got back
from Lake Tahoe. I went up there with my family to watch the fireworks on the
4th. Did you do anything fun for the 4th? I hear the fireworks in NY are quite
the spectacle! Well, hope that you are doing well and taking time to relax! Take
cares!
Quote by shinsengumiThere really
isn't anything I can say that others haven't said already, but I love the
simple, clean look, the pastel palette, the little dotted lines that help give
it an extra cutesy and playful feel. Wonderfully
done!
Thanks for dropping by the Mokona wall
Really glad you liked x3
Howdy- Just wanted to say another public congratulations on graduating today! (I
got 3 more minutes in the day- in Arizona anyways, lol) Hopefully I'll catch you
on MSN before you fly out.
P.S. I always wanted to ask: who's Suzumiya Haruhi?
Hey Shin, as opposed to using an outright guestbook post in response to the one
you left me, I sent you some personal correspondence instead, check your PM
folder when you get the chance, and be sure to write back.
I'm sorry that I didn't give many of the participants such as yourself much time
to get back to me; some had noted already that they were going to post their
wallpapers this weekend, results be damned, so I wanted to have a set of results
out as soon as possible so that they would be ready by the time participants
started posting their wallpapers.
Utada Hikaru rocks. . . in fact, as a bizarre coincidence, way back when all the
submissions first came out, I was actually in the middle of listening to the
Exodus album when I started writing my comments and assigning scores.
Anyhow, thanks much for your note; I'm glad that I could be of assistance. Take
care, and see you around!
Nahh.. don't worry about that. Cheers for Arete.
Yeap, Utada.. her songs are just plain cool. Wow, now that's really scary... but
Exodus really is a cool song, I love it. Hehehhe, such coincidence...
Oh, by the way, sorry for the late reply... kinda busy with school. I'm just
trying to have the habit of not going online during weekdays... or else onlining
it's not a fun thing anymore. ^^ See you around then.
Hey.....
I read your latest post (Should President Bush Be Impeached). I remember you
were a moderator once, however you seem awfully good at clarifying facts from
fiction pretty good. Although we don't see some issues eye to eye, I enjoy the
intellectual confrontations. But to hear you not posting for a while for certain
reasons ( been avoiding the forums because of the sheer amount of ignorance and
frivolity radiated by many of its denizens........) on here was a bit
disheartening. I think that there should be a voice of reason in these types of
forums simply because there are a lot of fresh, young minds that can be easily
corrupted by the intellectually challenged.
I, for one, prefer you visit MT a little more often. Some people on here can
drive you nuts, but that's what you have friends for.
Quote by PANDAgirl*NOTE: A re-submission cuz it got deleted when I don't
think it needed to be. Copied and pasted from my DA
page.
With all due respect, and as a fellow member, I
would like to remind you that it is not our place to decide whether or not a
submission deserves to be deleted or not. Furthermore, the policy specifically
states the following: Submissions that have been deleted due to a violation of this Policy may
not be resubmitted, and duplicate submissions, including alternate versions of
other submissions, are prohibited.
Quote: Upon viewing the wallpaper
in detail, I regret to say that I cannot in good conscience agree with others
who have posted before (and undoubtedly will post after) me who have nothing but
ebullient praise for this work. The disparity in quality across the wallpaper is
jarring; in particular, the subject scan is just so blurry compared to the crisp
lines of the stars in the background and the magical effect in the
foreground.
This is not a bad wallpaper, per se, but it could certainly do much more to
become worthy of the praise that has thus far been lavished upon it.
Thanks for you comment on my wallie ^^ I appreciatte this
I hate this bounce back and forth kinda responses we gotta do, hehe, I wanted to
thank you for your input and can understand where you are coming from. I didn't
intend to sound as ignorant as I did, hehe.
I was going to say, you certainly sound well versed on all the laws. Good to
know if I ever have a question. I wish you good luck on your exams and I will
leave you alone now!
Thanks for dropping a note in my GB... I understand better now the situation,
hope they don't start throwing things at each others (though i have no idea what
a fish could actually throw... maybe i'll have to ask the Monthy Pythons about
it, they'll come up with something for sure ). I
haven't seen the movie, since my brother told me it wasn't so great.
Anyway, i'm doing alright, it's the end of my holidays (let's call it Easter
holiday, though it was only one week, and not for Easter either), so i've been
able to study a bit ... I have exams coming in a little month or so, gotta work hard *puts on the
hachimaki*. I hope your sister's doing good in her studies too (i have to
support fellow med students i guess... you never know who's going to cure you
).
I just bought the Robot artbook (number 1), it just arrived in France, and it's
pretty good. I've seen many Range Murata scans these days (lots by you.... ahah
and i couldn't help but want that new artbook of yours... shame on you for
making me drool over it *grrr*).

Just thought I'd drop by and leave you a little message. I don't want you feeling lonely after your retirement for so long.
Remain Genki, ok?
