That's what happened with Samurai Deeper Kyo in a way; those involved with the Anime deviated from the original manga storyline a bit too much for my liking.

Oh wow! I bet that made things easier, lol.

It's been pretty warm here too, and we only just got rain today. I went to Warped Tour with my friend yesterday. It was sooooo hot, I suffered moderate dehydration and I had two episodes of heat exhaustion. Still, I stayed til about 6:30pm because the only reason I went was because AFI, my favorite rock band, was performing. Health issues aside, I had a blast.

Back in April, he wouldn't shut up about this girl he had a crush on all the way back in 5th grade -- the last time he ever saw her -- and I, after doing everything I could to get her to talk to him (she didn't want a damn thing to do with him), lost my temper and bitched him out. He called me the next morning at 7am (way too early to wake me up) to apologize. I forgave him, because he was sincere...hell, I've known him since we were in 1st grade together, I know when he's being sincere or not. Then, earlier this month he IM'ed me just to tell me about a Beethoven CD he'd gotten. Granted, I like Beethoven, but thanks to my mom I have a library of over 500 songs by Beethoven, Mozart, Johann S. Bach, Strauss, Brahms, Wagner, etc. I don't care if Jonathan (my friend) got such-and-such CD, cuz I already have it. >=0000000~~~~~!

Then there's another guy I know, and unlike Jonathan, I've only known Lucas for about 3 years, and I never went to school with him -- we met on deviantART. Lucas doesn't want to talk about anything other than music, movies and Anime. Granted, I love all three, but there's other stuff I want to talk about. When he calls me, I've gotten to the point that I never answer my phone because he wants to play a guitar riff he's learned and mastered, and I don't want to hear it because the amp is always up too loud and I fear for the receiver on my phone. One time, during winter quarter, I was in band class, and Lucas called me. No one noticed, because my phone was on vibrate, but I sure as hell did, and I was not happy that after a while it would stop buzzing for a minute then start back up again. He called me seven times before I finally put the damn thing on silent. I answered when I got home, I think it was the 25th time he called me and I said, "Dude, I have school. You can't call me til the weekend." Lo and behold he does it again the next week and I finally told him to can it or I'd block his number. He hasn't called me since. The only way I know he's alive is when he posts a new journal entry on his devART page.

Yeah, my guy friends are annoying.
