Half of it, the original was a inkscape vectorized piece from 600 x 450 to
improve the lines density.
Then I manually dealt with most of the lines again to give some personal effort,
and clean up the downright ugliness of inkscape vectors.

Yeah, tracing a hightres source like a scan is really more comfortable... the
second vector I'm working on right now has a scan as a source... and it's just
so much better...
The problem is that I feel more compelled to do some vectors for some personal
favorites of mine which are more often than not rather unknown... with few scans
available... but well, we'll see

well, it's pretty easy, actually... My first vector with the same technique i
used was the Asuka one, and i continue from there. well, personally i like the
Asuka and Stellar works, i think they are my best so far. You want some
tutorials on this? Maybe you can try out yourself...

updates on vector...well frankly theres the vector i told u taht i use ur
tips...but oh well lightning struks again... my pc had to be restore and the
worst thing is i save in desktop..of course the vector is gone !

from bleach then dark from d.angel..my my i really learnt my lesson...nvr ever

Thanks, girl! yup, it was a hard piece to do, actually. The tracing itself took
me almost 4 hours to complete.
Yeah, she does look innocent isn't she? Just like Stellar, she doesn't look like
the girl that we know when she pilots her EVA.

p/s: a tip - try using the "Simulate Pressure" method while tracing...
it's hard, but the result is great! plus, it's easier to color later
on...

hmm...first vector, huh? well, my opinion is that you've done it well! u used to
make wallies also, right? u implemented the techniques u used on them and apply
it on this vector art! the outlines are perfect and the coloring is also very
good. maybe the eyes need a little adjusting and the outline at the neck line
could be darken. maybe i'm wrong, but is the right hand side of the shirt shadow
suppose to be grey, or black? just a question!
all in all, a great vector art! nice first try. keep up the good work!
